Countryside

It was the middle of November when Tiffany and Lincoln went to travel in the countryside, searching for a house suited to the lady's taste and partially away from the city where people might question the downfall of her family. The sun rays were blaring through the tinted windows of the car they were riding as they drive down the barely occupied highway.

"This is where you're going to spend the holidays? Alone?" Lincoln asked out of nowhere while keeping his eyes on the road. Being the man behind the wheel, he was careful enough to handle his speed limit even though the wide and open road kept giving him the urge to fasten up.

Tiffany let out a soft hum in response to his question. Her eyes were searching for nothing in particular through the tall grasses, bushes, and few wildflowers that they drive passed through. "I think it would be delightful, a little change to what I've used to experience," she stated with her gaze fixed on the view outside of the window.
