Chapter 48: Back home.

They were still sitted like that when they saw two boats approach their direction from a distance. Alyssa was the first to see.

" There they are ! " Alyssa shouted with a wide grin on her face as she pointed the direction. Calcel raised his head to see and indeed they had finally come for them. He also smiled with joy and started shouting.

" Here !! " ..He shouted while he jumped and raised his arm giving a wave. The boats soon approached them and there they recognize the people who were in them. David had come him self. When they reached , David jumped off and hurried to give Calcel a hug which after he cupped his face.

" My son , Are you alright ? " He asked with tears of joy.

" I wm sorry Dad , For making you worry. " Calcel responded.

" Good enough you've been found. I am glad about that. " David spoke and hugged Calcel again.

" Miss are you alright ? " One of David's men approached Alyssa who was still sitted.

" Please help me get up. " Alyssa begged and the guard did so and supported her get up. That's when David turned his attention to her with a deadly look.

" Sir , I am...." She tried to speak but David's gaze stopped her. There was no sign of peace in his look.

" Which kind of mother are you ? " He asked angrily.

" Sir , I am sorry for..." She tried to apologise but David didn't let get.

" Shut up ! " He commanded and took Calcel's hand leading him to the boat. " Let's go home ! " He said to Calcel and left off with him.

What hurt Alyssa most was that Calcel didn't even bother to explain to his father what happened but just looked at her and left.

" Ma'am , I will help you get to the boat. " The guard said and carried Alyssa off the ground to the second boat.

" What happened ? " David asked when they had settled on the boat.

" She slipped off the rock . " Calcel lied. " And I dived in to rescue her when the strong wave drove us this side . "

" What the hell was she doing there ? " David wondered.

Calcel couldn't say that he was fighting with her over a phone so kept quite.

":Dad , Let's talk about that when we are home. " He said and looked away.

" Ma'am , What really happened ? Boss was worried about you both.

" There was no need to worry. Good enough we are fine , Especially Calcel. " Alyssa said with a smile to show all was well .

At the Wong's Mansion.

Three cars arrived . David got out with Calcel and gladly from the boat Alyssa was picked up by Jenny who escorted her up to her room.

" Aly , What really happened ? " Jenny asked when Alyssa had sat down on her bed.

" I just slipped off into water so Calcel wanted to save me. " Alyssa lied.

" Mr David was really worried , I don't know what would have happened if you guys were completely hurt. " Jenny said looking at Alyssa lovingly.

" Ms Jenny , Do you mind giving me some time to rest ? " Alyssa asked .

" Fine , Take care please. " Jenny said and left Alyssa's room.

Calcel on the other hand just walked to his room when he had arrived home. He had a shower after which he stood in front of the mirror to look at him self. He looked at his image for sometime while many questions ran in his mind. He remembered the way David scolded Alyssa when he asked her which kind of mother she was. He was really disappointed in her. But it wasn't Alyssa's fault , It Was Calcel's and because of this he felt guilty .

' I have already put her in trouble , What do I do now ? ' He asked his reflection. He then remembered the words Alyssa spoke the night before when she thought he was asleep.

" I wish that one day you would put the step mother thing aside and we become friends. " Those are the words she had clearly said and they kept ringing into his mind.

" I'm falling in love with someone ! " He also remembered this from Alyssa and he felt anger and guilt run inside him. In confusion , He left the mirror and sat down at the of his bed.

" I wouldn't need you as a friend because I have enough of them. " Calcel remembered the statement he made to Alyssa when she asked him whether they could become friends. He passed his hands in his hair and lied on the bed facing the ceiling.

That afternoon , He had to leave

off to Wong Costmetics for work. He didn't want miss as he had many tasks to accomplish. He wore a gray suit and lanx shoes , Got his brief case and left the room. Reaching the sitting room , David was there watching the afternoon news.

" Good afternoon Father. " He greeted.

" Son , You are leaving this early ? " David asked.

" Yes , Dad. I need to sign some documents today and besides that I have a meeting. " He said.

" Fine , Have a nice day. " David said.

Calcel made a bow and left.

At Wong Costmetics..

Calcel had just arrived. He passed by May's office before heading off to his. When he knocked and entered May's office , He found her sitted busy doing some work. The moment she saw him , She hurried to close the laptop , Jumped off the seat and ran to give him a hug that that shocked him.

" Sir , You are here ? " She asked in sobs holding his waist tighter. " You can't know how much I was worried about you . " She added still hugging him.

Calcel didn't know what to do so he just swallowed hard.

" I am really glad that you are back . " May added as she buried her head in his firm chest.

" Am...We are in the office. " Calcel said reminding her to release him.

" Huh...I am so sorry sir. " She muttered drying off the tears with her hands. " I am just happy that you back , You know I was lost hearing that you got lost from an Island. " She said.
