Chapter Sixteen

Lucy's Pov

"Oh my God!" I exclaimed as my eyes nearly fell out of their sockets. If you think it was an exclamation of excitement, you were so, so, so, totally wrong.

Like what the fuck?

We were standing in front of an old worn out shack that had bits of its foundation falling or dare I say, crumbling off. It looks like it's situated beside a creek from the splashing of water that I heard. It's caramel coloured paint had peeled and it wasn't a very good sight If I do say so myself.

Should have known I was going to be visiting a dump, I mean it's Cole after all.

I sighed.

I looked from the ugly building to Coles slightly less ugly face, then to the building again, then back to Cole.

I have to say, I'm ashamed of how much hope I felt. Why I felt like that is still a puzzle to me.

"Cole?"

"Yea, Blondie?" He grinned.
