"Stop the carriage!" Christina scowled.
The coachman pulled the ropes and the carriage came to halt with a screeching sound. She opened the door and hopped out. The coachman wanted to ask where she was going and if she needed any help but already being threatened for his job he remained silent and decided to wait.
She lifted her dress slightly so that she could walk fast and catch up with the two men walking ahead of her. One of them had grey hair while the other appeared as if he had not taken a bath for days. Suddenly she saw them halt and she hid behind a tree, making sure she was fully covered.
A few seconds passed and there was no noise. Thinking the two men continued walking, she peeked from the tree only to be caught by a pair of grey eyes. Her eyes widened as she knew who the man was.
"Why are you following us?" The grey-eyed man asked her, intimidatingly.
