I'm Not Your Opponent

Without a word, the first guard rushed Chowan. 

"Oh, you'll send a weakling to die instead?" mocked Chowan, keeping a firm gaze on the motionless interim lord. 

But as the guard entered the Chowan's perimeter, the chief of staff quickly realized it wouldn't be so simple. Chowan didn't know who the guard was but Chowan silently appraised the guard as a captain equivalent. That was evident by how the guard could bear the pressure of Chowan's elementary perimeter with little to no difficulty. 

Still, that wasn't enough to stress Chowan out. The chief of staff simply took the charge seriously and attacked in turn. 

Chting!

Swords clashed as the wind-clad guard was deflected and brushed to the side. 

Chowan squinted in thought. "Strong wind… I would only think you're Reece. But that wouldn't make any sense…"
