Everything Nile had asked Darren to collect was available within ten kilometers of the cave, so it just took Darren an hour to collect everything and return.
On returning, Darren placed the 3 things in front of Nile who was in the exact same place as an hour earlier.
Darren then stood there for further instruction. Nile glanced at the three things and spoke pointing towards the coyote monster- "Darren take out the windpipe of that monster" then he pointed towards the other monster "Liver of the raccoon."
Darren excitedly did as Nile asked, he wanted to see what Nile had planned. For someone who has spent most of his life in the wild forest and among the monsters, it came naturally to Darren. It only took 10 minutes for Darren to perfectly cut through the body and take out the windpipe and the liver of the monsters.
When he was done Nile instructed further- "Put the windpipe and liver on a cauldron (pot) and properly mash them until I ask you to stop ."
A cauldron was a simple magical object, it was used to mix different herbs or other ingredients. A cultivator could transfer its energy to the cauldron and further to the ingredients, the lid of the cauldron could seal the mouth of the cauldron so the energy transferred to it won't exit and would be absorbed by the herbs or other ingredients in the cauldron. It was a must-have item for someone traveling through forests.
Darren took out a feet big black cauldron placing it on the ground and started mashing the windpipe and the liver.
Darren could not hold down his curiosity anymore and asked-"Nile what will be the efficiency of this pill? How long will it take to make it? I have never seen or heard of such a process, will it work ?"
"The efficiency will surprise you, as for the time it won't take long and you will soon find out if it works or not." Nile smiled slyly, not clearly answering Darren's questions.
After 5 minutes Nile again instructed- "That is enough, now put 2 liters of water into it."
Once Darren was finished filling water, Nile slowly crawled towards the cauldron. Closing the lid he placed both his hands on the cauldron and started to transfer his energy in a calculated way.
After few minutes of transferring his energy, he asked Darren to remove the lid.
Inside the cauldron, the clear water had turned dark red and some minute particles could be seen floating on the water.
"Darren take out the mixture that has settled at the bottom of the cauldron and throw out the water."
Darren hastily did what Nile instructed, he was getting restless to see the end result.
After Darren was done, in the cauldron a brown-colored melange (mixture) could be seen.
Nile then asked Darren to create a fire beneath the cauldron, once he was done Nile gave his final instruction of the process.
"Darren add a liter of water and put these pieces of Kiara roots inside, 1-minute interval between each piece, and remove the lid." Nile handed Darren 10 equal parts of the root which he had broken.
After 10 minutes of waiting and ignoring Darren's dozens of questions, Nile slowly got up enduring the pain, and looked inside the cauldron, and smiled, it was a success.
Inside the cauldron was a light brown mixture that was sticking at the bottom of the cauldron.
"MAnnnnnnnn.....We should have had closed the lid. " Darren said disappointedly. He thought because of the open lid the mixture evaporated with the water and only the burnt mixture was left.
Nile smiled listening to Darren and took out his dagger from his sheath and scratched out the light brown mixture sticking at the bottom.
"I will clean it the cauldron, you rest." Darren said
Nile ignored Darren and continued scratching out the light brown mixture and collecting it in his other hand.
It just took some seconds to collect it. Nile then raised his hand and took a pinch of the light brown mixture and quickly swallowed it.
"WHATTTTTTT ARE YOU DOING, DID YOU HIT YOUR HEAD" Darren shouted seeing Nile swallow what he thought to be the burnt leftover.
Nile slowly got up from the ground and took off his bandages from his shoulder.
Seeing Nile's healed body Darren's mouth opened wide.
'As expected, I could just make a healing pill with 90% efficiency, the monsters and trees here are not as strong as the abyss.' Nile thought while analyzing the results.
After a minute when he was done analyzing he turned towards Darren
'hehehe' Nile giggled seeing Darren who stood there like a statue with mouth wide open.
"Darren, were you saying something earlier ?" Nile said faking an innocent smile.
"Hmmmm.... YE.. BU. HOW di...what just happened? Darren stuttered while trying hard to make sense of what just happened.
Nile slowly came close to Darren and gave him a small amount of the mixture - "Swallow it, this will answer your questions."
Darren quickly and excitedly swallowed the powder like mixture and started to analyze its effect.
"WHAT, this has even greater potency than the high-quality pill how much healing capability it has ?" Darren asked.
"90%"Nile answered with a grin, he wanted to see how Darren would react.
"GENIUS, YOU ARE A GENIUS" Darren shouted out loud, his words echoed in the whole cave.
"Try again" Nile said, again handing Darren the last bit of the powder like mixture.
"Huh.... You sure ?" Darren questioned
"Yes, just swallow it already."
Once darren had swallowed the last bit he laughed and asked-"Hahhahah....We can swallow two in a row without waiting for ten hours ?"
"Yes and just after an hour you can swallow two more." Nile answered
"How did you know the recipe ?" Darren questioned Nile while still enjoying the warmth he was feeling inside his body.
"I just knew." Nile casually replied.
"That is what makes you a genius." Darren replied while believing what Nile just said.
Darren was a simple-minded person, he believed if you could trust someone with your life, you could trust them with words too. Nile was aware of that and it was the sole reason why he had not even try hiding his battle capabilities or knowledge in front of Darren.
"Darren how much can this pill be sold for ?"
Darren thought for a while before answering -"Around forty to fifty thousand gold coins. I have heard rumors that Otron empire has the recipe of a healing pill with 80%, and they export it at thirty-thousand gold coins per pill."
'That is too much, selling ten of those pills and you have ten-thousand gold coins more than the annual income of my Withlock family.' when Nile was an infant he had heard Drake and Elora grieving over the financial condition of the family and town, they often talked about how their family's income had dropped down by eight-hundred-thousand gold coins, from a million to two-hundred thousand coins after all the master cultivators of the town went missing.
Nile pondered for a while and said- "Darren do you know how much is the average income of a small, medium, and prestigious family ?"
"Ummm.. for a small family it is five-hundred thousand, medium it is twenty-five million and for large families, it is seventy-five million coins."
Nile's eyes widened, he was not aware that there was such a vast rift of wealth between Noble families, and his family was at the very bottom.
Nile took a long pause before saying with a stern expression-"Darren I know what we will do for the next few months." Once he had grabbed Darren's attention he continued further- "We will search and hunt for these three ingredients in an area of 300 kilometers around us."
"Huhh... there must be hundreds... no thousands of them, why do you want so many ?." Darren was astonished as to why Nile wanted to create so many pills.
"Beacause I want to create wealth for my family." Nile simply replied.
Nile then further said- "First we have to look out for a container that could hold our healing powder for years without ruining it."
"Don't worry my storage pouch has an ability that stops the time within its storage space." Darren said proudly
"That solves our problem..... By the way how much dimensional space does your storage pouch have?"
"50 meters of space"
"That will come in handy, lets go for the hunt." Nile said and left the cave followed by Darren.
