Suddenly Gary laughed out loud seeing Isana's flat face after asking such a question. Sometimes, his wife would put on a very funny expression that would automatically make Gary laugh without realizing it.

"Who do you mean?" Gary asked after he had stopped laughing.

"You who claim to be the personal driver don't know? Winola Meyer is today engaged to a businessman designed by the Meyer family. You should immediately change the latest news channel," Isana grumbled annoyed.

Sometimes, Isana couldn't understand her husband. The Gary that Isana first met had changed long after they got married. For some reason, Isana always feels that Gary's soul is not with them even though technically they are together.

On reflex, Gary grabbed the TV remote and changed the news channel. And it's true as his wife said, Gary saw Winola's face being interviewed by one of the leading gossip news channels about her engagement.

In the news, the face of the man who was lucky to have been engaged to Winola was not shown at all. And that only made Gary's chest fill with embers of anger. Why didn't Winola tell herself this morning?

Was their show playing a farewell event that Winola had deliberately arranged so that Gary wouldn't feel hurt? However, even Winola didn't say that it was an engagement event but only a big family event.

Then, who is right and who is wrong here?

Gary was confused. Gary also doesn't understand if Winola has been cheating on him all day. The problem was not because Winola was engaged to someone, but because Winola didn't tell her anything about what was going on.

"This is impossible. My wife, please tell me this is impossible. Why didn't I know?" Gary hissed almost madly.

"Calm down, my dear. You must admire Winola Meyer so much that it makes you feel this disappointed." Isana sighed in concern.

Seeing her husband half depressed made Isana shake her head. Since working at Winola's agency company, Gary has not once shown any symptoms like this time and it was enough to make Isana worried because Leon's little eyes were watching his father.

"Father, why? You didn't forget your promise to buy a robot, did you?" whined Leon inching into his mother's arms.

As if waking up, Gary looked at Leon with teary eyes. Gary seemed to forget that he was currently at home. No Winola. No freedom.

"Oh yes, I will buy it tomorrow. I promise." Gary said hoarsely

"Okay Leon, let your father rest okay," Isana said leading Gary into the room.

Isana covered Gary with a blanket up to his head. Rubbing the ends of Gary's hair until it was messy.

"If you want to show your shocked face it's best to look at the situation. We have our son watching. You...at least set a good example of a father to your child." Isana whispered in Gary's ear.

Whatever it was, Gary didn't care.

Gary immediately closed his eyes to comfort himself a little. Meanwhile, his brain was spinning wildly composing the words he would say to Winola tomorrow. And one more thing, Gary would openly ask Winola for money for Leon's sake.

Believe it or not, Leon is Gary's only precious gem. And Gary doesn't want to lose Leon in his life either. Therefore, Leon's trivial desire to ask for toys had to be fulfilled by Gary even if he had to threaten Winola to give him money.

...

The day has changed. Gary puts back the mask of a good father and understanding husband before leaving for work. Help Isana cook or clear the kitchen table. Not to forget, Gary took Leon to school.

"Honey, is there something you want? Leon just asked for a robot toy like his theme and what do you want from me? Just tell me, I'll buy it for you." Gary whispered as they were having breakfast.

Isana furrowed one of her eyebrows. Isana knew Gary was behaving strangely, perhaps to cover up his disappointment that his idol had been engaged, so Gary became very concerned about his family.

Isana pretended to think hard before answering.

"There's one thing. I wanted a new bag because my old bag had a tear at one end. The second thing is that I want you to be fine and always try to keep yourself well. Remember Gary, there's Leon who still needs a father figure in his life." Isana said earnestly.

"You said only one, but it turns out there are two. Okay, I'll buy you a new briefcase and you don't have to worry because I'll still be fine. Sorry if I was just in shock yesterday. you think. You take it easy. Leon is my jewel and you are my empress, how could I waste this already perfect life." Gary replied softly, making Isana smile.

Calming Isana's heart was one of the easiest things Gary could do. And because Isana has given an adorable son then Gary can't hate Isana. Even though Gary can't love Isana, at least Gary can treat Isana like a perfect wife.

"Stop your sweet words. You make me full before eating. Gary, just so you know that I'm so grateful to have a husband like you and Leon. We are a family and shouldn't hide any secrets.

I have no problem with you admiring Winola Meyer or working in the actress's agency. As long as you can always be a good father to Leon, that's enough for me. Let's forget the past and don't pile up debt anymore in a place I don't know, okay?" whispered Isana at the last sentence.

For a few seconds, Gary was taken aback by his wife's words. Because indeed, Gary still had some debt to a loan shark or two. It was also to cover losses when Gary worked at a shipping company.

"Don't worry, honey. With my salary at Winola's agency, this year all my debts will be paid off. You don't have to worry about that in the future." Gery replied firmly.

"How are you going to do it?" asked Isana worried.

Instead, Gary smiled broadly with pride.

"Because I'm a big Winola Meyer fan," Gary whispered enthusiastically.
