(Third Person POV)

Magnolia, Fiore 

[The Following Day]

Inside the Fairy Tail guildhall, all of the members were getting ready for the war that was to come. Makarov and Mavis stood in front of the stage as the rest of the members had gathered. 

"Gramps!" Laxus said, "Are you sure about this?"

Laxus had walked up to Makarov with a scowl in his face. 

"Laxus." He said, "I've told you....we're not sure about the situation." 

"Jason left for Alakitashia, what else do you need?!" He exclaimed

"Laxus, calm down." Mavis said with a nervous face, "Jason went to confirm the situation, we don't know if it was a trap or not. For all we know, the information was false." 

Laxus crossed his arms, "Look, Master Mavis, I know that it seems that I'm overreacting and all..." He said, "But all I ever cared about was the safety of this guild, including you! I don't know if we can even trust him..." 

Mavis walked up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder, "Trust me, then." She said with a smile, "I believe in Jason. We will never betray us. He's not the kind of person to bend their knee to an Empire..." 

"But..." Laxus said

"Laxus." Makarov said, "Master Mavis is right. Jason, despite his.....'debauchery' as you describe it....he's not the type of person to be ordered around....I, myself, firmly believe he will not join Alvarez." 

Before anyone else could say anything, they felt an intense and ominous power. The entire ground began to shake as a loud and deafening roar could be heard. 

The roar was strong enough to rattle the guild hall and everyone was covering their ears. 

The ones who were affected the most by the roar were the dragon slayers, including Laxus, who winced in pain as they covered their ears. 

"What the?!" Laxus exclaimed, "What's this?!"

"An attack?!" Makarov said

Natsu and Wendy, who were sitting in a table, were buckled over, clutching their heads. 

"Ahh!!" Natsu exclaimed, "It's loud!!" 

"N-Natsu-san!" Wendy cried, "It hurts!!" 

Gajeel who was on his knees, clutching his head as well, looked up as he winced. 

"This feeling..." He managed, "Salamander...!" 

Natsu straightened up, "Y-Yea...." He said, "This scent too....!" 

They all then ran outside the guildhall, to see what was going on. As they did, another loud roar was heard, this one was heard much more clearly as a powerful aura hit them. 

Makarov, who was in front of the crowd, buckled over to the aura. 

"What is this power!?" He exclaimed

Erza, who was next to him, looked up and widened her eyes. 

"W-What?!" She said, "Is that...?!"

They all saw what she was talking about and were shocked to see what was in the skies. 

Above them, was a massive black dragon flapping its wings as it let out a massive aura of darkness. A sight so shocking to them, despite having encountered Acnologia once before. Even the Dragon Slayers were shocked to see this sight. The ones that were raised by dragons themselves were also standing there, frozen, not knowing what to think. 

Natsu looked up at the Dragon, completely shocked, "A Dragon?" He said

This was Erion, The Newborn Dragon. He had flown his way to Magnolia from Alakitashia, drawn by a certain power after the battle that had happened the day prior. 

Erion looked down at the Fairy Tail Mages and in an instant, swooped down and landed in front of them, crashing through the massive gate and concrete wall. 

Makarov readied himself, "Is it attacking?!" He said, "What is this Dragon? He has an overwhelming amount of dark magic power!!" 

Natsu sniffed, "This scent....." He said, "It's familiar...." 

He looked at Erza, who had a sword readied. Something seemed off about this whole thing and he wasn't sure of what to do. 

Erion looked at the Fairy Tail mages, not moving. His gaze was unsettling to the majority of them, some of them were too nervous to do even more. They still had the trauma of Acnologia's attack back in Tenrou Island. 

Suddenly, Erion's eyes met with Erza's. He then began to sniff, recognizing the scent Titania had. 

Erza saw this and looked at him, "W-what?" She said

He then let out some low grumbling and whining, which surprised the Fairy Tail members. He took a step forward, cracking the ground beneath him. 

As soon as he did this, a massive bolt of lightning fired at his foot but he moved it at the last second. The lightning bolt struck the ground and exploded. 

They all looked at Laxus who had his arm extended forward, "We can't let it get close..." He said, "Something's off..." 

Erion then glared at Laxus and let out a snort, growling as his body began to shake violently. His growling became deeper and louder as the ground began to shake. 

Erza scowled at Laxus, "You angered it!!" 

Erion then reared his head back and let out a roar, releasing a wave of black light that hit them hard and sent them reeling. 

Makarov covered his face with his arm, "This black light...." He said, "This is Jason's magic!!" 

"J-Jason?!" Erza exclaimed

Suddenly, Natsu lunged at the dragon, his fists engulfed with flames as he swung it at Erion's face, hitting the dragon. As the fist landed, the flames exploded and sent the dragon reeling back. 

"Natsu!!" Erza exclaimed, "What are you doing?!"

Natsu landed and scowled, "A dragon just attacked us!" He said, "I'm not sitting around!" 

Erion looked at Natsu, the attack seemingly did no damage. He then narrowed his eyes at Natsu, letting out a growl. 

Erion then took a step and immediately froze, seeing something within Natsu that was more than just his magic power. He focused his senses on the Dragon Slayer and in an instant, saw a flash of a massive Red Dragon. 

He had somehow sensed Igneel within Natsu. This caused Erion to be riled up, releasing more magic power and growling even more. 

"Oh you want some more?!" Natsu said as he readied his fists

"Everyone!!" They heard a voice call out, "Stop!!" 

They all turned to see Mavis walk through the crowd as she looked at the dragon. 

"Master Mavis!" Makarov exclaimed

"Do not attack!" Mavis said as she ran past Natsu, "Whatever you do, do not move!" 

As she got in front of Natsu and raised her arms as she looked at Erion, the newborn dragon looked at her. 

He then began to sniff the air and looked around, distracted by something. Mavis was sweating, breathing heavily as she looked at Erion. 

Erion then saw the air around him turn into clouds as they enclosed around him. He backed up a bit as he saw the fluffy white clouds surrounding him. He began to sniff them, curious as to what they were. 

This was Mavis's illusion magic at play. She was attempting to distract the Dragon. 

"I don't know what else to do..." Mavis said, "I figured clouds will do something...." 

Natsu looked at her, "First!" He said, "Let me handle this!" 

Erion then let out a massive snort, blowing the illusion clouds away, and dispelling them. 

Mavis widened her eyes, "What?" 

He then looked at Mavis. In an instant, Erion appeared in front of Mavis, his face directly in front of her. 

This shocked everyone completely. 

"What kind of speed was that?!" Laxus exclaimed

"First!!" Makarov exclaimed

Mavis looked at Erion, "C-Calm down, everyone!!" She said, "I'm okay...Nobody moves! Do not provoke it!" 

Nobody moved. They were merely staring at Mavis face off with the Dragon with nothing but concern on their faces. 

Erion inched his face closer to Mavis, sniffing her. He then widened his eyes slightly, recognizing something within her. 

He proceeded to let out a grumble as his body began to glow with black light. 

"What's going on?" Erza said 

Suddenly, Erion's entire body began to shrink as it let out a black light. In a matter of seconds, the massive dragon disappeared, leaving a small baby on the ground. 

Mavis looked down at the baby, he was completely naked and was falling asleep. 

"W-What? A baby?" She said

Without a second thought, Mavis crouched down and picked the baby up, holding him in her arms. 

Everyone then walked over to Mavis; they had shocked looks on their faces. 

Natsu was dumbfounded as well, "D-Did....." He started, "Did I just punch a baby?!?!"

Mavis looked at the baby, something about him felt really familiar. She couldn't put her finger on it, but he looked very familiar. 

"He was but a child..." Mavis said with a slight smile, "He didn't mean to fight.....I think he was running from something...." 

Makarov approached, "Oh my...." He said, "First, a War, now we have a Dragon child in our footstep....I'm getting too old for this..." 

Mavis smiled, "I'm older than you, Makarov!" 

"Oh!" Makarov said, "T-That's right!" 

Erza and Lucy walked up to Mavis, who held the sleeping baby in her arms. 

"The dragon was a baby?" Lucy said, "Wait....he looks familiar....Is it me or does he look a bit like you, Erza....?" 

Erza raised her eyebrows, "Me?" She said, "Why do you say that? He clearly doesn't...." 

She looked at the baby, noticing the red hair. 

"Oh.." She said softly, "He kind of does..." 

Mavis chuckled, "Well...." She said, "We'll put him inside..." 

"And we'll find his parents later.."
