Destiny

Unknown Forest.

A squad of five people was seen running away from something with nervousness and panic, they were wearing a gakuran jacket and hakama style pants with blades on their waist.

Hah~ Hah~

"Run!"

"We need to report this to HQ!"

"An Upper Moon is hiding at Kobayashi Village!"

The five people were desperately running for their lives as they felt the threat of death coming from behind them.

Out of the five people, one of them is wearing a light-blue haori with long hair that ties to his neck, he was the one who was running at the front as he kept glancing at his back with a despairing look.

"Kazemi-sama, what do we do?"

One of the four people asked the person with a light-blue haori on him, he stared at the person in front of him with a hopeful look.

Kazemi, a tsuguko of the Water Hashira. A tall muscular young man and a fairly handsome face. He has long dark-blue hair that ties to his neck and deep sapphire eyes.

Kazemi looked back at the person that asked, he stopped and unsheathed his blade.

"I'm going to hold him back, you four head to the HQ immediately"

Kazemi stated with an authoritative tone, he had a determined look when he gaze at the four people in front of him.

"No, we can't let you die!"

"That's right, we promised to share a drink after this"

"You still haven't achieved your dream of becoming a Hashira"

"We'll stay with you, even if we die"

Kazemi looked at them with teary eyes and formed a warm smile as he remembered all the fun times together.

"I... no, this is an order..."

Kazemi spoke hesitantly at this time he had a serious look when he stared at the four of them.

"Bu-"

"NO... I am your captain and my order is for you to run" Kazemi said as he stopped him from continuing.

Kazemi didn't budge at all, the other four had a reluctant face as they had no choice but to respect their captain's decision and ran away leaving him all alone.

He was now all alone in the middle of a forest as he gaze at the moon and smiled, he was ready to sacrifice himself as long as his friends is able to get away safely.

Tap~ Tap~

Kazemi stopped his thoughts and stare at the 'being' that walked out of the trees with a determined look.

A large muscular being with rainbow eyes and platinum hair. Kazemi saw a number two writtem on both of his eyes, his face looked solemn as he realized that he might fight one of the strongest demons of the upper moon.

"Oh... what do we have here?" the upper rank two demon asked when he stared at the young man with a smile.

"Your slayer, demon" Kazemi stated.

Kazemi instantly dashed and slash his blade at him, the moment the blade was about to slice the demon's head off. The upper two demon raised his hand and grasped the blade as he looked at him mockingly.

"Is that all, slayer?" the demon mocked him hoping to see a despairing look on his face.

Spit~

The demon had popped a vein in his head as he felt the saliva on his face, he thought that he would despair but instead, he had a look of determination and the eyes of someone who was ready to die.

"What an unfortunate child... let me help you end your suffering" the demon stated as he wiped the saliva off his face.

Kazemi felt his instinct alarm him as he jumped away from him but he was too late as a hand passed through his chest.

Bleugh~

Kazemi coughed out blood as he looked down at his chest which had a gaping hole but instead of feeling scared, he felt relief. He slowly backed away as he felt his legs give away and fell to the ground with his front facing the night sky.

The demon glanced at him and walked away not even bothering to eat him as he chased at the rats that got away.

"Is this the end?"

Kazemi asked, tears trickled down his eyes as he felt his vision slowly blur into darkness.

"Maybe this is for the best..."

Kazemi murmured, he remembered how his parents were eaten by demons as he watched in fear and felt powerless at not being able to save them until his sensei came and saved him, his childhood life was ruined as he only concentrated on training and missed all the things that a normal child should do.

The only people he truly cared about were his sensei and his friends, they were the only thing that kept him living as he battled through demons every day.

Kazemi slowly closed his eyes as he faintly smiled and wished that his next life would be full of joy.

At this moment, Kazemi died.

...

In the middle of the forest

A bright light erupted as a portal opened up and a gorgeous lady with white wings came out.

She looked around and saw a body lying on the floor, she walked towards the body as she bent down and caress his cheeks while she wiped the tears from his eyes.

The lady put her hand on his chest as she whispered in an unknown language, a magic circle appeared on the body's chest as a bright sphere of light came out and floated in the air.

She took the ball of light and opened up another portal that leads to an unknown place, she slowly brought forth the ball of light on the portal and it sucked it in as the portal closed.

The lady smiled as she went into the portal she came out and it closed in and disappeared in thin air.

...

In the middle of a river

An elderly woman was seen washing her hands when out of nowhere a crying sound was heard. She looked at where the voice came from and exclaimed in surprise as a baby was floating down on a river in a basket.

She walked towards the basket and grabbed him, she laid him down gently on the ground when she saw a note that fell out with a name on it.

"I see... so your name is, Kazemi huh?"

The elderly woman said and formed a warm smile, she took him as she embraced him and walked away.
