Chapter 43: Back Home
~Silva POV~
[July 14, X784]
It has already been a day since I managed to get everyone back to Hargeon Port again as we both departed once we returned.
I intended to head to Crocus to see about an Alchemist Guild to see if they have any Alchemist Skill Books for me to obtain but looking through Rongo Rongo that idea was turned into nothing but frustration.
Apparently, they work exclusively with the Magic Council and Rune Knights along with not liking Fairy Tail members because of our so-called specialty of destroying things around us by any means.
…
Fair enough.
Although there has been an interesting development, we all joined the train arriving back to Magnolia as we speak but seems like Ur is showing some interest in wanting to see Gray's guild much to the ice wizard blush would indicate.
With Ur around Gray's mood and attitude seems to have changed slightly like that of a kid again but that's only natural right?
It has been more than 10 years since he last saw Ur alive thinking, he killed her with his actions in the past to which I got a favor out of the two Ice Wizards for managing to return them together again.
Something I plan to use asking them about how to use Ice Magic myself at a later date if needed. But now I was back on track training again at the very least, I should collect some jobs for a change of pace but also training with Erza.
But I already miss my ghostly companion as I haven't seen Mavis for around when we left back to the Hargeon Port or during the trip back home. Mavis has her reasons I guess, or did I really upset her for not coming to the Galuna Island?
The only way to tell is to ask her about it but for now though she isn't here I can take this moment to get ahead and check my status.
Status.

Hmm….
I'm making steady progress from the looks of things with my status. And I did pay for a train ride to Magnolia returning home since Alchemy which ultimately became useless at the end of the day to obtain.
Plus, the new item I got from the bonus reward is especially powerful and extremely useful in a clinch the Demon Extract takes the form of a chalice full of blood.
Although the extra perks from my newest reward drop of the Ice Crystal Lacrima boost my stats during a battle but not without a cost that sucks, however…
<Observe>.
---
Item: Demon God Manifestation – Demon's Extract
Rarity Item: SSS
Type: Chalice/Blood
Description: Demon God Manifestation: Demon's Extract is an Elemental-type Teigu that gave its users the ability to instantly freeze anything by reducing the kinetic energy of atoms, meaning they effectively make things colder, ranging from slightly chilly levels to absolute zero manipulate ice and mold it from nothing.
Users can also generate and manipulate ice. Demon's Extract couldn't be removed once applied, and it also had a dangerous side effect: it caused the user to hear voices that drove them mad if they didn't possess a strong enough will to resist them.
The user is able to completely freeze anything in an instant and is able to summon and manipulate ice, even without a nearby water source, the user is also rendered completely immune to harm from any temperature.
-Warning if consumed you will be given insanity.
Item: Ice Crystal Lacrima
Rarity Item: D
Type: Lacrima
Description: Raises the STR and AGI of the user by 15 when equipped. Increases damages dealt by 10% and increases MP Cost by 20%. Only active during battle.
---
I couldn't help but grin reading the contents of the description although the only downside to the Ice Crystal Lacrima would be an increase in cost to my MP skills by 20%.
Although for the extra stats of AGI and STR currently, it's worth it for the time being. For what's coming up in the future or not it's best to prepare.
Having Demon's Extract would definitely up my chances, but I would have to be taking care of its downsides first. Fortunately, I have my <Indominable Spirit> to help me out but it will definitely take a few hours.
Getting used to my seat in the train car I decided to pick the Cursed Box this time around from my Sub-Zero Emperor Quest this time around since I might need an item or skill in the future when the situation calls for it.
[Ding!]
[You have chosen the Cursed Chest Box!]
Picking that seeing the box I opened it up as soon as I did, so the light particles began to sparkle down appeared making the box disappear to transform into a… book?
I arched an eyebrow at this.
I mean I question it but if the Cursed Chest Box says I'm going to need this in the future it might be something good right?
Reading the title of the book it says 'Mana Method' a training book as I open it up revealed to contain runes, but I'm having a hard time to decipher for me.
<Observe>.
---
Item: Mana Method Manual
Rarity Item: S
Type: Book
Description: Mana Method is the Heart Kingdom's unique magic technique for shaping rune arrays from natural mana and is the basis for generating True Magic. Over the centuries, the citizens of the Heart Kingdom have adapted to the country's strong natural mana and developed this unique magic technique to channel that mana into spells, increasing their strength and abilities.
---
Oh?
So this is something from Black Clover this time if what I'm reading is right then this item is what I need to completely be connected and train my Mana effectively. Although the runes written here are…
Hard to describe or decipher…
Maybe I should ask Levy for help deciphering this book I bet she would like a challenge. And considering it comes from another world I would need her expertise on the matter which means I have to focus on my time better.
Or possibly ask Mavis for assistance assuming she would return on her own time to which I have no idea of how she would come back.
*Creee*
*Thump*
Standing up and preparing to leave through the exit of the train car while listening to the speakers give everyone the cue to leave, "Alright folks we have reached Magnolia Train Station! Would all passengers for this stop please take your exit!"
Let's see what Magnolia has in store for today.
/////
*Thud*
Exiting the train station we all got out with Gray, Natsu, Happy, and Lucy talking about her new key when Erza brings them out of their stupor as Ur walks beside me, "Now… the first thing to be handled is to go to the guild and dispose of you people."
Gray clicked his tongue figuring or hoping that Erza would forget about it, "I was trying to forget that!"
Ur merely laughs a bit amused seeing the predicament unfolding at the scene, "Haha… it seems like Gray hasn't changed much over the years getting over his ahead himself."
I couldn't help but shrug at this voicing out the inevitable punishment they are going to face ahead of them, "Sigh… it was nice knowing you guys. May some God or Spirit help you out in your endeavors. Amen."
"Screw you, bastard!!"
Gray and Natsu yelled at me laughing at their predicament as Erza continues to explain to the group her opinion, "I think that you should be generally forgiven in this case. But it will be the Master deciding. I have no intention of acting as your defender. So, I would prepare for whatever punishment he hands down."
Like that, the group began to break down except for Lucy and Natsu trying to reassure them being the optimist surprisingly enough.
"You don't think he'd make us do THAT do you?!!"
"Wait a minute!!!! Not THAT!!! I never want to do THAT again!!!!"
"What's THAT supposed to be?!!!"
As we walk a few steps forward to the guild Erza reassures the group they will be receiving THAT punishment much to the 3 horror, "I trust THAT will be exactly what you expect. Hehehe… I'm actually looking forward to it. Let's go."
Grabbing Natsu by his shirt collar and dragging him to the guild breaking down like a baby was honestly baffling to see in this state as he cries out pleas for help, "Noooooo!!!! I'll take anything as long as it isn't THAT!!!!"
Dragging the poor salamander around to his dismay I motioned towards Ur if she was interested in searching for a place to stay around Magnolia Town, "Say Ur want to check around Magnolia Town for a place to stay for the time being? Considering Gray is going to be in trouble for a while you could take the chance to find a place to live for, now right?"
Ur considered my offer as she smiled in agreement seeing her student is being indisposed of at the moment, "Hmm… considering my student is getting punished I could use this part of the day to search for a place to live for the time being. But…"
She gestures her hands having no Jewels as I sighed taking out the 100,000J. I had handing it to her much to her surprise as I explained, "Sigh… considering your flat out broke and probably need more than one change of clothing I'll lend you 100,000J to help you out. But do know I'll need that 100,000J back when you can make it up for it."
She merely nods her head in agreement as we took our parted ways with me showing her around Magnolia and waving bye to Gray, "In that case, I hope you don't mind. I promise to repay you back after helping me out, but I think I'll need some time to myself. I'll see you later Gray I'll come by your guild to see if I can join or if you do get expelled, we can head out elsewhere! Later and good luck my student!!"
Like that Ur took her time to look around Magnolia Town with Gray having a defeated expression on his face as Erza drags him along to as I shook my head.
That poor shmuck.
