My consciousness was awake, but my eyes were still closed. I could feel the heat of the sun blasting through my window on my back. I snuggled closer to my pillow that feels so smooth and soft to my skin. I inhaled deeply, savoring the delicious smell.
I turned to my other side, moving closer to the warm atmosphere around me. The strong arm wrapped around my waist made me feel safe as if there would be no danger because it would protect me.
What the? Arm?
My eyes flew open, and I found myself looking at a lean yet muscular toned chest.
"Hazel, are you planning to stare at my gorgeous body all day?" Aiden's voice is intense and raspy from waking up. You could hear his accent more clearly.
I bit back a scream and glared at the guy, who had a sly smirk creeping up his face. "What's wrong? You never run out of anything to say."
"You aren't Zac Efron."
"Yeah, but I'm better than him." I rolled my eyes at his cheekiness.
