Kyrie finished the broadcast, turning off the machines as he did so. Others may come back to this place, and they may make use of the supplies in there. He didn't need them. The stragglers and beggars who reach this place will use them better.
The only thing he took were a few chocolate bars and candies. Anything else was left here; the essentials and bulk of supplies were untouched by him.
He explored the other rooms to see what information they had and how it could benefit him in the long term. Many of their machinery was deactivated, presumably by Patrick and the other survivors to help save energy in the winter, to not run out of it because of the crackling temperatures demanding more heat and output from the generator.
There wasn't anything useful on the turned-off monitors and panels, but one stood intact. A large panel with a map of the country on it.
