Chapter 3: Lia's Fight

Zero looked at the dark space and soon, several figures appeared. Some were wearing white robes and had cross lockets on their necks. Some had swords, halberds and other weapons.

They had different bodies and physiques bit one thing was same. They had an aura; aura of holiness around them.

This made Zero frown after all, he was a devil now.

Zero looked at them and spoke in his head, 'Damn, evolution will be completed in 7 days and now I have not enough power to face them.'

He naturally knew that when evolution will be done, he will be much more powerful. After all, it was evolution and evolution makes a being more powerful or gives any other boost.

And the next second, he felt a sharp pain all over his body. He didn't know what it was but then, realization hit him. He knew what it was.

He spoke with great difficulty, "Lia, Akane, fend them off for few minutes. I am forcing.....my evolution."

Lia and Akane appeared from his shadow. They looked at him with worry after seeing his pained expression.

However, they were ordered to fend these people off, so they would do that.

Lia was a perfect maid, so she had to comply to any order of her master unless, it dangers her master's life. Currently, her master was going through evolution, even though she knew it was hurting him a lot but it will never kill him, she knew it somehow.

Sigh...

She sighed and prayed in her heart that her master would be alright. He was her first master. She was trained to become a perfect maid by a perfect maid. She will become the most perfect maid. Being a perfect maid is difficult but being the most perfect maid is at insane level of difficulty. After all, it involves many factors like beauty, services, how much services are done and also comforting your master when need and etcetera.

Lia looked at the people with an indifferent gaze and spoke in a demonic voice, "Stop, mongrels. You filthy insects. My master isn't available right now. If you take another step you will be with your filthy god next moment."

The people's eyes gleamed dangerously as they heard her. Their holy aura exploded.

Seeing this, Lia's eyes turned crimson and her scleras turned black. Two black wings came out of her back. These wings had black feathers. They were huge. Her nails got big.

On the other hand, Akane sighed and looked at them. She wanted to be of some use to her master. She wanted a master since she was a kid. A master to serve, a master that would smile at her, a master that would be angry at her mistakes, she was not a masochist, okay?

Her master now needs her and she will be happy to help him.

Akane's eyes turned blood-red. Other than that, there was no changes as she was vampire not a devil. She had wings too but she didn't bring them out. If she needed them, of course she would bring them out.

Next instant, time slowed down or rather, Akane made the time slow down. Only she, Lia and her master were unaffected by it. She made the time slow down in this particular area as she didn't hold tremendous power or she wouldn't even need Lia's help.

Lia disappeared in the shadows. As it was night, she could disappear anywhere as there was darkness and she could disappear in any darkness. She had the ability to manipulate darkness.

She was known as Queen of Darkness.

She was an Assassin.

Lia appeared behind a person and with just a swing of her dagger, the body fell with a thud sound.

However, before anyone could know what happen, she appeared behind another person and killed her.

All this time, Akane stood still as she didn't have much combat ability. However, she had trained in some weapons. She had a halberd in her hand to defend her master from any danger.

As Lia was killing, her enemies she spoke in a demonic voice that was more demonic than before, "Now you know mongrels, that you are nothing than a dirt. In front of existences like devils, gods, angels, you are nothing more than simple pebbles. They are mountains and you are just pebbles."

As she spoke, she killed more and more people, however as she was about to kill a person she retreated back and saw a huge man who was 1.9 metres tall. He had large huge sword in his hands. He had blonde hair and blue eyes.

He spoke with clear disdain, "Hmph, you filthy devils are nothing more than symbol of filth. You should be cleaned from the face of world."

That man lifted his huge sword and swung at Lia. She also didn't stay idle and disappeared in darkness. Next moment, she was behind the man but as she was about to kill him by piercing his head from behind, she was stopped by a sword. This was the same huge sword of that man.

He anticipated her attack and blocked it.

Lia disappeared and appeared several metres away from him.

Both enemies looked at each other with unconcealed hostility.

Lia's crimson eyes disappeared, now her whole eyes were pitch black. Her wings grew bigger. Her nails emanated darkness aura, same as her eyes.

She looked at the blonde man and disappeared from her place.

Her agility became much more high. She was in her Devilish Form. A form in which devils become one with their ability.

She had not much control over it but still, she was powerful.

Lia appeared right in front of the blonde man and swung her dagger at his throat horizontally.

The blonde man blocked the attack barely with his sword and was sent flying few metres away.

The man now was laying on the ground. He got up and looked at Lia with anger.

He roared and rushed toward her and upon reaching her, her swung his sword several times to kill her, to mince her but unfortunately for him, she had disappeared.

She appeared behind him and thought, 'He is fast even though, Akane has slowed down the time.'

Even though Akane had slowed down time, he was really fast and she missed his sword barely. So, if the time wasn't slowed, she would have been severally wounded, if not dead.

All this happened in a span of two minutes. Yes, two minutes. Such was the speed of Queen of Darkness. She killed few people in a half minute and had been fighting with this blonde guy for almost two minutes.

As she was about to attack him from behind, she saw that he was gone.

Then, a voice rang from her behind;

"Good night, Devil."

He swung his sword diagonally from bottom upward behind Lia.

Few minutes ago.

Eve, Snow and Siena appeared in the living room on top floor of the castle.

Seeing them in living room, Eve frowned and asked, "Why are we here?"

Snow spoke, agitated, "Akane teleported us here."

"Why?"

"I don't know but I have a feeling. Darling is in trouble."

"Darling?" Eve raised an eyebrow.

"What?" Snow asked innocently.

"Nothing." Eve spoke, "Let's find mom, first."

"Mom is in meeting with demons and devils." Snow spoke with sadness in it. She wanted to help her darling. When she thought how someone would hurt her darling, her blood boils.

"Then, lets go to meeting." Eve spoke and Snow nodded at it.

"Mama, where is daddy?" Siena spoke in a cute voice.

"Daddy is fine. We will be with him soon." Snow spoke to her daughter with a smile. Siena nodded but she was bit sad. She didn't want to be away from her daddy.

Thus, they began rushing toward where the meeting of devils is held.

In a room where a round table was present, some beings were present while some were digitally.

On the head chair, a silver haired mature woman was sitting. She spoke in a cold voice that could freeze the entire world, "Those vampires are so irritating. They want us to hand over the vampires like that."

"You know, we won't submit to them, right?" The one who spoke was a red-haired woman. Even though she spoke that she had anger on her mature and beautiful face.

"But still, I am gonna kill that fucking old shit." The red-haired woman spoke with disdain.

"Nothing will happen by cursing him, Amber." The one who spoke was a white-hair mature woman.

"Shut up, bitch. Stop acting like a fucking saint." Amber spoke.

"Huh? What did you say, fucking whore?" The white hair woman whose name was Isabella spoke.

"Everyone know how much of a crazy woman you are."

"Same could be said for you, Amberlina." Isabella spoke with a smirk.

"Shut up, Isashit." A vein popped on Isabella's forehead when she heard Amber.

They were sitting opposite to each other and glaring at each other.

Seeing them, all present sighed and shook their heads. They both were rivals and had no menace toward each other. But they were rivals. If normal persons are rivals, that may be okay but of two crazy persons are rivals, that is nothing but a disaster.

Amber was a vampire and Isabella was a devil. Both were dukes of Hellburn. Even though, they had all planet for themselves but they could expand their territory little bit because of a certain reason.

Evelyn was going to speak to quiet them down but the door to the meeting room opened and three figures came inside hurriedly.
