The City

As I was walking throw the village to reach towards the city I saw how happy these villagers were children running and lost in their own world without knowing how harsh the world is and adults chatting happily without knowing that in a decade the will disappear from the face of the earth without leaving a mark and without anyone knowing.

Well I can't blame them very few people awaken and even more few can even see it throw. The World is quite harsh and they don't even know it most people think that without them nothing will function well that's their biggest mistake they don't know that even without them everything will remain the same.

Well if you are not strong enough in this world you can't make an impact and you'll be another nobody and be forgotten in the expanse of time.

As I make my way towards the city I soon see huge buildings the more I walk towards it the more I can see them clearly. There is a huge door at the entrance of the city and there are two guards at the entrance they seem to be checking people.

Oh shit I don't have an id what am I gonna do now this is not good. ,Welp can't help it I guess I'll just go and see if they will be so kind as to let me walk away to the city.

As I made my towards the guards they saw me and said" Sir, Please state your id and purpose for coming to the city" the guards said eyeing me like I am already some criminal what the fuck man.

"Well actually I don't have a card and for my purpose of coming here well I guess to earn some money" I said truthfully without hesitating.

"Well if you don't have id we cannot allow you to go in sorry sir" the guards said

Well I have to go in or it well be hard to earn money outside a city and I can't live at a place like a village "please is there any way for me to go I didn't make an id" I told I lie professionally.

The guards looked at each other and looked at me and said" well you can go over to our superior at that small office there he will look at you if your lying or not then you can get a pass." The guards said and I nodded

 I went towards the office it was plain square sized office as I entered the office I saw a door I made my way towards it and knocked on the door and a heavy voice came behind the door" Come in"

I opened a door and I saw a man in his late 40s with brown hair and green eyes with a big build like he was heavy weight champion or something he was wearing bottle green shirt and pants with paper in his hands and he looked at me with a raised eyebrows and said" who are you brat and what do you want"

I looked at him without any emotions and said "Hello sir my name is Rio and I wanted a pass to the city as I don't have an id"

He looked at me from and down and then said" Why do you want do go to the city what business do have there" he said in a domineering way to make me intimidate it's a common thing higher status people do to make people easy to command even in the army back on earth people would do that.

"I wanted to go to city to make some money so that I can afford for myself I wanted to attend the ranker academy so it's a must to go to a city" I said while looking straight into his eyes and suddenly his eyes started to glow he must be using a lie detection skill to confirm if I'm saying the truth or not.

"so you want to join the academy huh meaning you're an awakened" he looked at me and made a face as if thinking of something and said" fine kid you can go but I don't think you can pass the exam you aim a little lower as weak as you are you won't make it"

I looked at him and said "well you have to at least try if you don't how would you know maybe I can get in who knows" he looked at me and started laughing" hahah well kid well see about that I will be watching you if you can make it or not"

What does he mean he will be watching me but before I can question him he said while pointing at me" well kid off you go" and the next thing I knew I was outside his office. What the fuck is he some op character that people accidently meet or something.

I soon started heading towards the guards and they let me in he must have informed them. As I went inside I couldn't help but marvel at the sight that I was seeing tall building's with intricate designs like you would see in a sci-fi movie.

Busying people doing their own stuff big houses and restaurants that are more beautiful than 7 star hotels cars that looks like Lamborghini type of cars, there was only one word to describe this beautiful.

First things first I need to make an id there should be an awakened association here somewhere.

I soon started touring the city and also finding the association and after an hour of search I finally found it. It was the largest building in the city and the most beautiful one as well.

As I entered inside the building the doors opened on it's own looking around I found a receptionist table I made my way towards her.

She was striking woman in her 20s with blue hair and blue eyes with curvy body damn why are all the woman in this world so beautiful. As if sensing my gaze she turned towards me and asked" oh how may I help you" she asked with a sweet smile.

"I wanted to make my id" I said directly while admiring her smile. "ID haven't you made an Id you should have your id made at the age of 10"she said while asking me

"No I couldn't make an id due to hmm some circumstance " I told her by lying of course as truthfully as I can. She looked at me for some second as if confirming my words hold any truth and said with a smile" okay no problem we can make your Id well first check your Rank and here please fill this form" She said while handing over a form and I nodded.

The form only contain birth place and name and age basic stuff after completing all those I handed it over to her and she looked at the form for a few seconds as to confirm everything's is filled and took out a crystal ball one you mostly see in those shady fortune tellers and said" Put your hands over this ball it will measure your Rank"

I did as said and put my hand over it and it glowed first white and red which indicated I'm an E rank

The Ranks are like this:

White >> F

Red >> E

Green >> D

Blue >> C

Purple >> B

Brown >> A

Gold >> S

Gray >> SS

Black >> beyond SS meaning SSS or Higher

There are only Four S rankers and There hasn't been an SS or SSS rankers in humanity except for the previous hero who was an SS ranker but no There will be Not only three SS rankers but also SSS ranker in humanity and everyone knows about it as well as the Goddess herself announced it.

Soon the receptionist was done and handed me the ID and got out of the building now that out of many problems lets head towards the next finding a place and a part time job so that I can have time to train as well the minimum requirement to get in the academy is D rank I need to reach D rank in 5 months.

Now then let this journey to this new world start off by taking a job if anyone else heard that I have been transported to another world filled with magic and sword and doing a job they might laugh till they die well what can I do reality always sucks.
