Yet, despite her formidable abilities, she had admitted that her telepathy didn't work on him.

He pondered the possible reasons behind this phenomenon. Perhaps it was the influence of his soul armour, which was known to record and adapt to resistances encountered previously. However, even with such capabilities, it seemed unlikely that it could develop enough resistance to block the strongest psychic abilities entirely.
