Professor Moonstone had spared no effort in trying to persuade Kardama to stay in her class. She had offered him every incentive and opportunity, going so far as to seem almost obsessed with having him as her student. The truth was, she actually was.

Despite Professor Moonstone's fervent efforts, Kardama didn't even hesitate in his decision. The professor couldn't fathom why someone presented with such remarkable opportunities would willingly walk away from them. However, as per the strict rules of the academy, she knew she couldn't compel someone to stay or join her class against their will.

"But being a spirit summoner isn't so bad either," Kardama reflected.

He had learned that unlike other categories, the power levels of spirit summoners varied significantly. This was evident as they relied entirely on their summons for strength.
