The tentacle flew at Reeva with malicious intent. He had to maintain concentration, keeping the surge of happiness from taking over. In the midst of controlling the coldness in his mind, he managed to move just enough to grab hold of the approaching demon's tentacle, right behind the mouth, just before it reached him.
With his demon-enhanced strength, Reeva swung the white demon to the side like a rope, slamming it against the orange trees. The well-maintained trees were uprooted, and their fruit rolled across the ground, only to be crushed under the demon's tentacles as it struggled to rise.
Reeva used this brief moment to regain control over the coldness in his mind. The happiness was running rampant inside his head, some managed to slip through, but Reeva held it in check.
