Chapter 8: The infallible seven-winged skeleton

The next day.

Han Shuo was still quite sleepy and not quite awake when the warehouse door burst open. Little Fatty Jack rushed in and started to shake Han Shuo awake, exclaiming excitedly, "Bryan, get up! You have to see this!"

Han Shuo's eyes were bleary. He had just dreamed about ordering the little skeleton to beat up Lisa. He had been woken up before he could finish the dream and complained with dissatisfaction, "What's going on this early in the morning?"

Jack's eyes were the size of yellow beans and sparkled with excitement. He laughed heartily, "I don't know what Lisa did, but she summoned a strange skeleton that doesn't obey her commands. Nobody knows what is going on, but Pilipala noises have been coming from her room all morning.

The little skeleton then ran off towards the Light Magic section, with Lisa chasing after it. Oh! I swear I've never seen a little skeleton run so fast in all my years in Necromancy. Oh yes, it also had seven bone spurs for wings!"

Han Shuo had been enjoying Jack's story until this moment. His expression changed as he suddenly remembered something, and he suddenly jerked his head towards the wooden bucket. The violently coloured water had turned to an inky black and the seven bone spurs had disappeared along with the skeleton.

No way. I only started refining it yesterday. He seemed to remember, through the mist of sleep, giving the skeleton the order to teach Lisa a lesson, but weren't there 36 days left before the refining of a demonic treasure was complete? What was going on? Was it because he had accidentally used bone spurs instead of yin demons that the magic yuan had run out prematurely?

Han Shuo felt a foreboding chill at the thought and sat up hastily. Ignoring even his morning chores of cleaning the stone statues, he dashed towards the Light Magic Department, dragging Jack along in his wake.

Han Shuo's mind raced through his worries as he ran. He was not a student of necromancy and could not find it in himself to be as indifferent to his summoned creatures as the students were. It didn't matter to them whether the creature lived or died. The little skeleton had been picking up rubbish for Han Shuo, saving him a lot of work during that time. He had unconsciously developed feelings for the skeleton and naturally didn't want anything to happen to it.

Aside from Han Shuo and Jack, the necromancy students also rushed to the light magic section. They had strange expressions on their faces as they talked non-stop on the way there.

"It's so strange. It was such a small skeleton, black and with seven bone spurs on its back. I wonder how Lisa conjured it?" Amy said as she walked at a brisk pace.

I know, and the weirdest thing is that the little skeleton runs so fast. Oh. Gosh. Is it because Lisa's mental power is stronger than ours that she can summon different skeleton warriors than we can?" Athena also wore a look of extreme surprise and carried on a loud conversation with Amy as they hurried to the Light Magic section.

Bella, the novice mage, frowned when she heard Athena say that. She snorted, "I'm a novice mage too, and I've never summoned such a strange skeleton before. The strangest thing is that this skeleton doesn't obey the commands of its summoner. It doesn't make any sense at all."

....

Han Shuo and Jack overheard conversations as they ran. From what they heard from the students, Han Shuo understood that his refined skeleton was indeed quite unique.

Inwardly worried, Han Shuo tried to contact the skeleton with his mental power. He found that he was able to make contact, but possibly due to the fact that it had been refined like a demonic treasure, the skeleton did not seem to receive the commands he gave. It was still running around wildly.

The Light Magic department didn't lack students like the Necromancy department. Light Magic was a popular major at the Academy and had produced many distinguished graduates. Students of light magic had always hated students of dark magic, perhaps because light and dark magic were directly opposed to each other. Light majors hated Necromancy majors the most, and Light magic was a particularly effective restraint against Dark magic.

Many light magics were particularly destructive to the dark creatures summoned by necromancers. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Light Magic was the nemesis of Necromancy. Han Shuo had gained a great deal of knowledge after returning to the necromancy school and understood the concepts that were common knowledge to necromancy students. However, knowing all this made his heart grow heavy with worry.

Han Shuo practically flew down the street as he dragged Jack along with him. His speed was such that his frail body even passed some of the necromancy students. Those left in his wake gaped in surprise, wondering when this idiot had become so strong after going mad.

By the time Han Shuo had dragged Jack all the way to the Light Magic section, Jack was completely exhausted. He planted his butt firmly on the ground and panted heavily, complaining constantly, "Bryan, you run so fast. You almost dragged me to death and you're not even sweating."

As Han Shuo's attention was completely focused on the little skeleton that was scampering up and down all over the light magic buildings, he completely ignored Jack's complaints.

A small skeleton with a body as black as ink, seven bone spurs in its spine, and wielding a faintly glowing bone dagger was running back and forth in the middle of the courtyard.

The black skeleton emitted a faint glow thanks to Han Shuo's refinement. The bone spurs had

The bone spurs were attached to his back, completely fused with the spine as if they had always been there. Two leg bones stretched out like feathers as he moved, and the seven bone spurs flapped eagerly to aid his movement. They weren't enough to make it fly, but they increased its speed, making the skeleton very agile. Even Lisa, who followed in hot pursuit, missed several necromancy spells.

The courtyard was lined with light-major students and stone pillars carved with intricate reliefs. The small skeleton's eerily agile body deftly weaved in and out of the students and pillars, leaving Lisa helpless.

Han Shuo was also dumbfounded by the speed of the little skeleton and quickly gathered his concentration to order the skeleton back to the camp. Unfortunately, the little skeleton did not seem to be able to receive his commands and continued to flash between the students and the pillars, causing the Light Major students to run around in utter confusion.

It was pandemonium in the courtyard.

"Lisa, you necromancy students are getting more and more presumptuous. How dare you let that filthy dark creature into the midst of the light magic department? Are you still smarting from the last time you lost to me and wanted to show off how good your skeletal warrior is?" Irene said coldly, staring at Lisa provocatively.

Irene was 17 and had a bob of light blue, slightly messy curls. She had beautiful bangs that fell across her forehead, and sky-blue eyes that were like two brilliant sapphires. She wore the sacred robes of Light Magic and had a diamond-shaped sapphire set into her collar. It sparkled with a misty blue light that matched and highlighted her eyes, making her look even more beautiful.

Another young beauty, Han Shuo, looked at Irene and began to mentally compare her to Lisa. Irene was equal to Lisa in every way, showing off a growing bosom that was much fuller than Lisa's.

"Irene, keep your nose out of my business. Don't think I'm afraid of you just because you come from the Kamplin family." Lisa stopped chasing the little skeleton and sneered at Irene.

"Hmph! Filthy dark creatures are forbidden to sully the department of light magic. If you can't take it away and get rid of it, then let me help you!" Irene raised her hands with a noble expression and slowly began to chant: "Razors of light, become a sword that purifies evil, cleave this wretched life in two - Radiant Slash!

After Irene finished chanting, a long sword made entirely of blinding light appeared. At Irene's command, it swiftly flew towards the skeleton.

Han Shuo's skeleton had been playing hide-and-seek and had stopped dumbly when Lisa had stopped. It didn't seem to react when Irene's light sword lunged at it and the sword plunged firmly into its chest.

The softly glowing black skeleton suddenly flared faintly as the longsword connected, and the longsword disappeared. A puff of smoke rose from its chest as the skeleton staggered slightly from the blow. When it regained its footing, it clutched the dagger and looked around, as if to see who had struck it.

"Wow, that dark creature didn't fall to pieces when the holy light of light magic hit it!"

"Yeah! That is so weird! Light magic is the nemesis of dark creatures. Its frame should have turned to dust under the holy light, what is going on?"

"Ah... is it possible that the Necromancy Major has researched a way to make dark creatures immune to the holy light of light magic? How is that possible? If that is the case, then the dark creatures of necromancy will be ridiculously strong!"

.....

Han Shuo looked around and saw that the Light Major students around him were all wearing expressions of fear. They stared in disbelief at the small skeleton peering around them.

The dark creatures of necromancy would not only take normal damage from light magic, but would also suffer additional injuries. Higher level dark creatures would begin to rot, but something as low level as a skeletal warrior should have been reduced to ashes immediately.

But the small skeleton that Han Shuo had refined, according to the rules of refining demonic treasures, overturned the normal laws of magic and proved to be an impossibly unbelievable thing to students of light and necromancy.

Cries of shock and bewilderment came from the students of Light. Even Lisa stood dumbfounded, unnerved by this infallible skeleton.

But just as everyone was reacting in surprise, the little skeleton, after a few moments of looking around, had finally figured out who had hit it. It rushed towards Irene, its five bone fingers clutching the coldly glowing bone dagger tightly, and its seven bone spurs flapping furiously to give it speed beyond that of a normal skeletal warrior. It arrived in front of Irene, grasped the dagger in its palm and stabbed furiously at the terrified Irene.

Irene panicked and desperately threw herself to the left, knowing she had no time to chant again as the skeleton had already arrived in front of her. There was a ripping sound as Irene shrieked in frigh

The little skeleton hadn't managed to stab Irene, thanks to her quick dodge. However, it had torn the robe from her right shoulder down to her chest, revealing dewy, creamy skin. There was even a small piece of snow-white underwear dangling from the tip of the bone dagger. The skeleton stood dumbfounded again, and didn't respond to the attack.

Damn, well done! Slashing her with a light sword, huh! Slash their clothes to ribbons in return! Han Shuo exalted himself inwardly.

Han Shuo suddenly felt his mental strength sharpen with these thoughts. He saw the little skeleton snap to attention, grab the dagger again, and leap towards an embarrassed Irene who was desperately trying to cover herself. It was obvious that it was going to carry out Han Shuo's order to tear her clothes to ribbons.

Hah, now he gets his orders, that lecherous skeleton!
