The strength of a Demonic Arts cultivator would greatly increase with each advancement in the Demonic Arts Realm. After breaking through to the realm of the Nine Changes and reaching the Omens Realm, Han Shuo could hardly imagine how different his main body must have become.
For the past nine days, Emperor and Eriksson had spent their energy trying to find a way out of this confusing formation. This was a great opportunity for Han Shuo to defeat them.
Han Shuo had backup plans in case he couldn't defeat them. Thanks to the existence of the Cauldron Spirit, Han Shuo could not only use the mystical demons inside the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon, but he could also use the Cauldron Spirit to control the demonic formations around him. Therefore, Han Shuo was fully prepared to take the lives of Emperor and Eriksson, no matter what.
Although Han Shuo had absolute confidence in the final outcome, Emperor and Eriksson had no idea how powerful Han Shuo had become. In fact, they both thought that Han Shuo must have gone mad when they heard that he was going to kill them. Even a fool would know that a mere Lowgod would undoubtedly be dead when pitted against two Midgods. What chance would the Lowgod have?
"Hahaha... "Eriksson looked at Han Shuo as if he were looking at a dead man. With a face filled with contempt, he said, "Go ahead. I will stand here and wait for you to kill me! Hmph, even if we expended a ton of our divine energy, a puny Lowgod like you still wouldn't be able to touch us."
"Eriksson, don't kill him too quickly. Make sure you find out how he got here before you kill him." Without batting an eyelid at Han Shuo, Emperor closed his eyes to recover his divine energy and casually reminded Eriksson.
The duo had been trapped in the formation for so long and still couldn't find a way out, but Han Shuo's sudden arrival had given them a glimmer of hope. Perhaps Eriksson only wanted to take Han Shuo's life, but not Emperor's. His only wish was to leave this troublesome place as soon as possible.
Eriksson groaned coldly, "I don't need you to remind me. I know what I have to do!"
Emperor, his eyes closed, kept a straight face and made no attempt to reply. He knew that Eriksson was still angry at him for doing nothing but watching as Eriksson was bombarded by attacks. The matter had opened a rift in their friendship that might never heal.
"Oh? So sure of yourself?" Han Shuo said calmly as he looked at Eriksson with a broad smile.
Before he had obtained the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon and before he had reached the Omen Realm, Han Shuo would have had no choice but to flee for his dear life against Eriksson. But things had changed now. Han Shuo had absolute certainty of the outcome to stand before Eriksson so fearlessly.
Eriksson was stunned by Han Shuo's words and felt rather confused. He couldn't understand why Han Shuo would be so bold as to stand in front of him instead of running away.
Eriksson focused on Han Shuo and felt the elemental energy of death in his body. The energy was merely Lowgod power and there was nothing unusual about him. Eriksson immediately heaved a sigh of relief. Staring at Han Shuo with his icy cold eyes, he said, "Cut the nonsense. Tell me how you got in and perhaps I will grant you a less painful death!"
Han Shuo chuckled. He walked towards Eriksson step by step and said arrogantly, "Don't worry, you will be out of here very soon! When Eriksson raised an eyebrow, Han Shuo's face turned cold and he continued in a grave voice, "But it will only be your deceased divine soul that will leave with me!"
Upon finishing these words, Han Shuo's hand shot out and pierced straight through Eriksson's chest.
Eriksson's face was filled with contempt. He coldly watched Han Shuo's hand move closer to him, but did nothing. He could clearly sense the divine energy of death in Han Shuo's hand. The energy was so weak that he didn't worry about it at all.
Eriksson stood tall and as still as a mountain. Unknowingly, a layer of solid ice had covered his body, turning him into an ice sculpture without a trace of life. The layer of icy armour that had formed over his chest shone brightly. Even though he was inside a layer of ice, Eriksson's expression was unaffected and he still had a look of contempt on his face.
Han Shuo's heart was peaceful and calm, his eyes firmly fixed on Eriksson. Suddenly, Han Shuo unleashed the Demonic Blades, causing his fingernails to quickly grow into long, razor-sharp blades as they pierced Eriksson's chest.
Suddenly, Eriksson felt an enormous amount of unknown energy emanating from Han Shuo's giant hand. This energy, which didn't belong to any of the twelve fundamental powers, caused Eriksson's heart to race.
Emperor was restoring his divine energy with his eyes closed when he suddenly felt the strange energy from Han Shuo's hand. He immediately shouted, "Eriksson, watch out!"
Unfortunately, Eriksson's ego was so big that it blocked his view; he let Han Shuo get close to him, allowing Han Shuo's demonic blades to land right on his chest. Emperor's warning had come too late.
Creak! The ice armour that covered Eriksson from head to toe shattered into pieces as Han Shuo's Demonic Blades pierced through it.
Eriksson couldn't escape in time. Han Shuo's Demonic Blades pierced through his heart and lungs and emerged on his back.
Han Shuo's arm went straight through Eriksson's body. He drew the distance between them closer and as he stared straight into Eriksson's terrified eyes, Han Shuo sneered wickedly and asked in a sinister, ruthless voice, "How does it feel?"
Pulling his arm back, Han Shuo placed the demonic blades back into Eriksson's organs and gave them a quick stir. As a round of eerie, goosebump-inducing sounds of shattering bones and organs played on, bright red blood spurted from the hole in Eriksson's torso. His blood splattered like a burst pipe.
Eriksson was terrified. He tried to wriggle free, but Han Shuo's other hand held him down so tightly that he couldn't move.
"Stop!" Emperor suddenly roared and shot a powerful beam of light from his mouth, shooting straight at Han Shuo's back.
"Hehe..." Han Shuo laughed sinisterly in a low voice. As if he knew that Emperor was about to launch an attack, his large hand that was crushing Eriksson's blood-splattered body suddenly swung into the path of that powerful beam of light.
"Ahh..." Eriksson was hit by the beam and cried out in pain.
"See that? He wants to kill you as well!" Han Shuo said with a slight Schadenfreude in his smile. He even raised his arm, which was stuck in Eriksson's body, so that the dying Eriksson could see emperor.
Perhaps he had lost too much blood, or perhaps he had lost his mind; Eriksson, suspended high in the air, looked resentfully at a guilt-ridden Emperor in front of him.
The pair of resentful eyes were meant for Han Shuo, but were instead directed at Emperor. Emperor, now flustered, hastily explained, "Eriksson, don't listen to his nonsense, I was trying to help you!"
Eriksson began to make threatening gestures at Emperor and tried to lunge at him. "Emperor, you bastard, I will finish you!"
Emperor was unusually panicked and dodged him in a hurry, trying to explain, "I was really trying to help you! Eriksson, are you crazy? Our enemy is behind you!"
Pow! Emperor managed to dodge and avoid Eriksson's lunge, but suddenly felt an enormous amount of energy coming out of his back. He immediately spat out a mouthful of blood. His steps were thrown into disarray and his heart pounded from his chest.
"Emperor, you bastard, how do you feel?" As Emperor turned around, he saw Han Shuo standing erect with a mischievous, smug smile on his face.
"That voice, was that you?" When Emperor suddenly discovered that Han Shuo was speaking in Eriksson's voice, he suddenly came to his senses. When he turned to look at Eriksson, he saw that Eriksson was limping weakly on the ground, barely able to move. It was only now that he realised that Han Shuo had been controlling Eriksson's speech and actions like a puppet.
"Of course it was me. Eriksson is basically finished. How would he have the energy to make so much noise. You are such a fool!" Han Shuo sneered at the Emperor. A smirk of satisfaction crept across his face as he watched Emperor with a mouthful of blood after being hit by his sneak attack.
"Master, his soul energy is nothing to sneeze at. He can be transformed into a demon general," the Cauldron Spirit told Han Shuo.
"Very well, how do I proceed?" Han Shuo asked immediately.
"It's simple, just let me out and I'll take care of it!" The Cauldron Spirit replied.
With a thought, the Cauldron of Myriad Demon flew out of Han Shuo's abdomen and landed beside Eriksson, who had collapsed in a pool of his own blood. The Cauldron of the Myriad Demon locked onto Eriksson's skull. A misty green light glowed from the Cauldron as the writings on it began to wriggle.
As the master of the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon, Han Shuo clearly sensed that Eriksson's divine soul had been sucked into the Cauldron. The green light suddenly faded and the Cauldron of Myriad Demon flew back into Han Shuo's body.
Eriksson, collapsed in a pool of blood, was now without his divine soul. It was just a lifeless body.
"You, you killed him?!" Blood continued to flow from the corners of Emperor's lips. His voice was shaking as he couldn't quite believe what he had just witnessed.
Han Shuo shrugged his shoulders and said with a rather sinister smile, "Don't be so surprised. You will soon follow in Eriksson's footsteps. You two will even continue to be each other's companions in my cauldron, you won't be lonely!"
"Kill me? Can you?" It seemed that Emperor had not yet realised the situation. He thought that the reason Han Shuo was able to kill Eriksson was because of his sneak attack and that Eriksson was too badly injured to begin with.
Han Shuo did not answer Emperor but howled with laughter. Then he began to move his hands, shooting demonic radiance from his palms. They all landed in the space around Kaiser and disappeared.
At first, Kaiser thought that these radiances were falling on him. When he noticed that all those streaks of demonic radiance were landing in empty spaces, he grinned and asked, "What? Do you have a problem with your aim?"
Han Shuo did not reply with words, just chuckled. The demonic radiances continued to shoot out of his palm, and they all landed in the empty space around Emperor before fading away with brilliant flashes.
"Can you feel it?" Suddenly, Han Shuo stopped the strange, aimless attack and asked Emperor with a mischievous smile.
"Feel what?" Emperor was startled and confused.
"The trembling of space! You fool!" Han Shuo replied, beaming from ear to ear. As he approached Emperor step by step, he unfolded the demonic blades on his hands.
The Emperor face froze upon hearing these words. It was only now that he could feel the trembling coming from the space around him, weak at first but quickly growing in strength. The tremor had affected both his body and soul, leaving him feeling powerless and drowsy from head to toe.
Space Change was one of the attack methods of the Nine Changes Realm. Han Shuo came to understand how to use the attack when he was in the Cauldron of Myriad Demon and wanted to try it on Emperor.
Intense distortions were created in the space. From the outside, it resembled water ripples spreading through a floating sphere. Han Shuo watched as Emperor body was twisted and distorted. Blood gushed from his seven orifices. He was powerless against the attack.
Soon, under the effects of the Space Change, the distortion of space tore bloody holes all around Emperor's body. His blood dripped around him like a lawn sprinkler.
The Cauldron of Myriad Demon that had retreated into Han Shuo's body flew out again. It expanded as it flew and covered Emperor, who was on his last breath. With a bright flash of green light, Emperor's divine soul was captured by the Cauldron of Myriad Demon . His body, without the support of his divine soul, turned into a puddle of bodily fluids. His bones were ground into bone meal and scattered.
"Master, there will soon be two more mystical demons!" the Cauldron Spirit transmitted after returning to Han Shuo's body.
"Fantastic! Fantastic!" Han Shuo praised. Then, after thinking about it for a while, he asked the Cauldron Spirit, "In your opinion, if I had fought the two of them head on instead of sneaking up on them, what were my chances of winning?"
Although Han Shuo had tested his strength in this new realm, having inflicted most of the injuries on them with sneak attacks, and Emperor and Eriksson had used up a great deal of their divine energy and were not at the top of their game, Han Shuo could not accurately determine the actual strength of his main body from this recent battle.
The Cauldron Spirit remained silent for a while as it pondered. After some time, it replied, "Master, if they had not been injured or frenzied by the demonic formations, in a solo battle, without using the energies of your avatars or mine, you could have easily finished off any of them.
"But if they were to join forces, it would be quite difficult to achieve victory without any external energy. But if you're good at using stratagems, as you've just done, it's still possible to win. If you use my Mystical Demons to stop one of them, you can easily finish them off one by one!
"Of all the experts in this place, the only one you cannot defeat right now is the one who is resting with his eyes closed. You need to fully familiarise yourself with the Omen Realm before you have any chance of defeating him.
"In the meantime, even though borrowing some of my energy would give you a slight advantage over him, it's still unlikely that you'll be able to kill him. This is because I do not have any powerful demon generals to use, and your current strength is incapable of unleashing my power to its full potential. If you want to kill him now, you'll have to use the demonic formations that the Exalted Demonlord used when he was alive.
The one resting with his eyes closed that the Cauldron Spirit was referring to appeared to be Olde. According to Han Shuo's understanding, Olde should have possessed late-stage midgod strength. From the Cauldron Spirit's explanation, Han Shuo came to a conclusion - his main body, which was currently in the Omen Realm, probably possessed a strength similar to Donna's - Mid-stage Midgod strength.
After learning of his actual strength, Han Shuo was incredibly pleased!
In just nine short days, he had managed to make such a giant leap in the demonic arts and attain such power. There was no way for Han Shuo not to be excited!
