Evolutionis Player[Eng]

From the book: I produced a portal and came across his mansion made of white marbled stones. The mansion was shining under the moon of this dwarf planet, a moon of magnificent silvery blue color. I had to defeat this demigod. He had immeasurable powers and increased intelligence after all these years of existence. However my arsenal was no less advanced and my magic art was colossal. I amplified my voice: "You, Lumadis, show that I am putting an end to your life, a rat that you are hiding at the edge of the Universe!" "I am not hiding, on the contrary," replied a gentle and playful voice. "I'm just enjoying the view" I did not think any more and produced the black gaseous eternalis which was pouring over the house, violet lightning exploded in all directions and cracked the stone. Our story traces the path of a man who can evolve like a video game. He will progress by trying to unravel the secrets of the system that will help him progress in his destiny. His road will be littered with adversaries, encounters and challenges to overcome. Will our hero manage to survive in the face of these innumerable dangers? Will he be able to evolve or will he perish before?

Chapter 7 - in a parallel world

"I am level 105, the gloomy grey that flashes the sky leaves a copper taste in my mouth, a taste of blood".

I have just crossed a cold and dark corridor to reach the bowels of this rotten world and pull the marrow to put it in my mouth and succumb to the taste of destruction and fear.

A stone arch was erected there, overlooking these trees with black and golden leaves. An odour floated in the air, and this odour I know well, the smell of decay, while this smell of death filled my nostrils. I entered the ark. The world shifted, the colors constantly changed to go crazy. And as I lost the sense of sight, a violent wind threw me on a rock, at least I believe by the feeling of touching my hands.

Well, I'm now completely blind. I put a cloth around my eyes and focused on my other senses to discern and feel my environment. My mana floated from the earth to my head and I managed to see the mana around me. I didn't see the colors but kind of threads that stretched and relaxed. I then understood where I was, in the middle of the sea on what seemed to be a tiny rock and nothing around me was hospitable. The sea was violent and cruel, cutting me at every moment and lacerating my bruised body. I used my power to form a dirt road on the sea and headed north.

As the wind tempeted with its infinite strength, I moved without wavering towards my destiny, spitting out the blood that flowed from my mouth. The frozen air froze my lungs and cracked my skin. Hell, the infernal flames could not warm this icy and threatening air. Eight o'clock later, I perceived the earth far from the horizon, a dark figure emanating a mana of desolation. The sons that formed my vision became blurred as I approached. Heralding a grim omen.

I intend to destroy everything in my path, possessed of endless rage and indomitable anger. What would happen to my enemies? Crushed, burned, cut, such would be their fate if they would come to oppose my designs. Loss of sight won't change their fate, be sure.

[Arrival on earth ]

It's fucking cold! I had produced a fire armor using mana but the heat could not compete with this temperature, it had to be at least -100°C. The cold earth cracked under my boots with black iron soles. I could discern a hollow-bottomed hill with the help of my senses, 1.5 km east, it must have contained hot springs. I headed in this direction. Crossing here and there ice wolves and winter orcs, I reduced them all to ashes.

Their blood ashes slipping in the air leaving behind them an end veil. And as the ashes beaded on my smiling face, I saw the entrance to the cave. A warm, gentle warmth emanated. As I approached I saw goblins and a green ecosystem. Everything seemed peaceful, and vapors of water rose above the immense spring. A cascade of mana was drawn in front of me, colored and fine threads were constantly flowing.

I pulled out a sorcerer's stick, or more precisely a work out of the knowledge of necromicon, the black book. I invoked creatures of nothingness, with abysmal and indecipherable outlines. These aberrant beasts were with many heads and attributes of legendary animals: the wings of the griffin, the serpent's tail of the chimera, the head of the guard. And I unleashed the beasts in the cave. Tearing up the space and driving anyone mad looking at them. The goblins ran to tear their muscles in vain. The beasts moved in infinity, they could appear and reappear where they liked. Real plagues. The worst adversaries to face for anyone, no matter how skilful.

And the infernal fire destroyed all the inhabitants with a surgical precision launched by the creatures.

I wanted to keep the flora here, there may be useful ingredients. And as drops of blood tasted on the purple leaves of the flowers, I went to the mana source, impregnating myself to the last drop of mana contained in the source and infused it with an ambient healing mana. The flora could evolve quickly and regenerate the environment. I planned to settle here for a time to assess my situation.
