Katherine, the second wife of the emperor Christian De Fasanovia, did everything to make sure that her son would be the emperor. "....." Chris was taken aback by her cold reply when he realized she had mistaken him again. He was asking to take advantage of her powers, he was just.. .curious and fascinated.
But he did not know how to explain this to her.
"That was not what i meant." he stood up from there. "I was only worried that if others knew about it, they might try to take advantage of yours. I wanted to protect you."
She stared at his solemn face with deep eyes before laughing softly.
"I did not need protection. As you can see…" she pointed at the bodies on the ground, '' I can take care of myself."
She walked away from him and checked the condition of her sons again.
"They are better. After some rest, they will be perfectly fine." she replied as she stood up and met his eyes.
He was looking stunned and frozen at his place when she stood up in front of him.
