The New Beginning

Everything was going well for Odin Umbra. A person with true evil traits.

He was feared as the supreme evil. Everywhere he went was filled with rubbles and corpses.

He was the overlord and controller of zombies. The humans were his playthings. Destruction and control were his pleasure and purpose.

But where there is darkness, there will be light. A light of hope for humanity, a person of positive aspirations and love for humanity, Freya Fiona.

She was once a great ruler of the alliance to unite and protect humanity. She aimed to erase all suffering brought by the zombie apocalypse. 

She wanted to protect everyone. But everything was reduced to a mere fantasy because of one person, the supreme evil Odin Umbra. 

Wherever he went her belief in humanity shattered little by little. As if he was ridiculing her beliefs. 

Betrayal, depravity, anger, and hatred followed where he went. The people she had trusted became something she never could fathom. 

She understood, in times of desperation, few could hold onto their belief.

One by one, till the last one, every human sanctuary was destroyed by the supreme evil Odin.

But she held onto her belief. A belief that he was good, a belief that he was lost.

Till the time when his zombie horde was destroying the final sanctuary of humans. 

I looked at him and it finally downed on me, It gripped my heart and made me experience unimaginable sadness.

He needed someone, he needed me. If he had me, the hole in his heart would be completed. He would find happiness.

"He needs me." Something quietly said to me as tears rolled down the corner of my eyes.

Even as everything was being destroyed, even everyone was dying, I couldn't look at anyone but him.

As he was standing before me, I could see his eyes, his face, that was riddled with sorrow. 

I know now what I want to do, I know what I want to say!

"I want to stay with you"

Everything was not important. I want to stay with him.

"If there's a next life." 

Odin smirked as he brandished his sword.

"Let's hope there's a next life."

Freya closed her eyes as she sacrificed her life to initiate the spell "Neuclus Destruction".

An explosion rang as thousands of kilometers ceased to exist. The radiation engulfed to whole world.

A world where all humans met its end, fell further into destruction and chaos.

But surprisingly, it is not the end.

Somewhere in the space system prompts rang out.

[Detected the destruction of all lifeforms. The God Quest cannot continue. Reversing everything back to the beginning.]

[Memory wipe Error! The user 'Odin Umbra', 'Freya Fiona' has attained 'True Being' status. The memory is ingrained into their very being and cannot be erased without infringing the System rules.]

[Proceeding with the Error Ignorance Policy.]

[Starting the God Quest at once.]

The world which already faced destruction rapidly reverted back.

The animals, trees, and humans appeared once again as if nothing happened.

Time was back in 2024, the time when the zombie apocalypse just began.

"Where am I?"

Odin was surprised to see the familiar room. 

"Isn't it my old house?" 

Odin walked around the house wondering how he got here. Suddenly, he held his head in pain.

"That b*tch used the strongest magic "Nucleus Destruction" and I died?" 

"That b*tch had something like that!? Sh*t sh*t sh*t, I was so close!!"

Odin unleashed his assault on the tables and chairs as he boiled with rage.

"Next time I see her, she dead." 

With a dangerous glint, he took his jacket and he headed outside to prepare for the zombie apocalypse, only one hour was left.

On another side of the world, a girl was shocked.

"I am back to the beginning!"

Freya never thought everything would return to normal. She thought she was dreaming.

"I really am back! This time, I will definitely save you!"

Humanity would have survived if not for the supreme evil Odin. 

"What are you looking at b*tch!?"

An angry voice resounded in front of Freya. 

Freya saw her and smiled.

"Are you well, Airi?"

Freya plunged and held her hand.

"Why won't I be well! You look like you're doing good."

Airi felt embarrassed at Airi's cuteness.

'Airi was one of my close friends.'

Freya thought. Airi had a bad childhood. Her a*shole father also suffered from the death of her mother and became an alcoholic.

Airi had a rough mouth but was a sweet girl at heart.

'This time I will save everyone I can.'

A lot of people died because of unpreparedness. Even if she warns people of impending zombie apocalypse few would believe her. But she would do her best to convince her friends.

'I don't have parents.'

She felt sadness.

'But people at the orphanage are my closest family members.'

Freya felt happy thinking about the orphanage nun and little siblings.

"Airi trust me in what about to tell you."

"Just say it, I trust you."

Freya is determined to protect her loved ones and protect Odin as well.

"It is a bother to live in a human society"

Odin spoke out as saw many people going out and about their days.

'Everything looks like a machine. People live like machines.'

He was walking toward a tool workshop to buy something as a weapon. The weapon will come in handy when everyone is weak at the beginning of the apocalypse.

"Look who's here! Isn't it our little Odin!" 

"Looks like he can walk well now."

"Haha don't bother him or he will get angry!"

A group of teenagers aged 18, sounded from the alleyway.

'This group of trash used to bully me in the past.'

Odin thought as he kept walking.

"He is running away! Jeke, bring him here!

A teenager named Jeke ran and grabbed Odin collar.

"Come with us when we are being nice."

Jeke said as he kept dragging Odin into the Alleyway.

There are people who felt bothered by what was going on but kept on going onto their business.

'Weren't these people the first to demand justice, when they are the victim?'

Odin thought as he saw the people walk away. 

'Now how should I fix this?'

Odin was still being dragged on. With his physical abilities right now, his barely healed leg may be broken again.

Or it would be if he was the same as his past.

Odin turned around swiftly, and kicked Jeke's knee, bending him down and a karate chop to his left neck, Jeke fell down on the ground, fainted.

"What!? Get him!" 

Seeing Jeke fainted the other teenagers rushed at Odin.

Odin picked up a steel garbage bin and threw it at them, knocking two teenagers down. Teenagers stopped, while Odin rushed at them and punched at the nose of a teenager, breaking it and the teenager fainted.

Only two teenagers were left standing other than Odin. The teenager closest threw a punch, Odin dived down and dodged, then punched in the stomach, The teenager grimaced in pain as he held his stomach, Odin threw a punch a bit lower than his ear, knocking him down, and fainted.

"Do you want to come too?"

Odin asked faintly. 

The last teenager heavily shook his head.

Odin turned back and resumed to his previous destination.

'Freya, this time I'm coming for you much faster!'
