22Chapter 7: Aim! Fireeee!

{Tara's 1st person POV}

Eventually i just let the gremlin go and let him stand up. He seemed far too happy to be here. His pervert friends just looked at our group, and glared at Kiba for... Something. And then went back to looking at all of us. The bald one, Ma-something, was looking between us all and i was starting to get annoyed. But when the glasses one turned his gaze to Koneko, i growled and glared at the both of them. They stiffened and the bald one yelled 'Scatter!' as he and the lolicon ran away. Issei watched as his friends ran and just let out a contemplative 'huh' as he turned back to me. "Aha ha... Am i in trouble?" I just looked at him and debated that question. But considering i didn't want to deal with this first thing in the morning? "You're fine. For now. Just remember what'll happen if you fuck up." He saluted me again and just followed after us as we went into the school.

Issei knew most of our group, since he actually did come over sometimes, but he never met Sona, Ruruko, or Reya. Sona and Reya because they practically lived in the library, and the kid would rather cut his arm off then voluntarily go to a library. And Ruruko because she actively avoided him. Rias and Issei were friends, and Rias kept trying to get Issei to notice Irina's feelings for him, without actually saying it. Kiba was actually good with him, since Issei was an actual ok guy, and they hung out sometimes. Koneko was neutral to him, and i made sure he knew not to perv on Koneko and actually talk and get to know her, so she wasn't that put off by him. That was one of my proudest aspects of Issei's training. If i told him to TALK to someone, he'd listen to me. That made him way more acceptable. Sona and the rest of her peerage were neutral to him, And my mom and sister were ok with him.

We all walked together and eventually started to split off to our respective homerooms. Me, Rias and Akeno were always in the same homeroom, just like Sona and her peerage were. Our fan-girls were already crowding around our classroom, just like they always did, and i had to give them the look to part the sea. "You know Tara-chan,~ you really need to teach me how to do that. Scaring someone just by looking at them? Oh it'd be a dream come true!~" "And that's exactly why i will never teach it to you." "~Ah, how mean! Don't we have something special T-A-R-A-chan.~" I think i heard some girls swoon somewhere, but i just let it go. I could never win against Akeno. But that was fine. Me and the girls went to our seats and started the day.

School was always fun, i could spar with mom or Tsubasa whenever it was time for gym, and now that Koneko would be here she could join us too. I spent the class thinking about a 4-way spar with me, mom, Koneko and Tsubasa, at the gym and decided to run it by them later. Eventually, it was time for lunch, and me, Rias and Akeno just pushed our desks together and ate. Though, at some point, i was pretty sure i heard the sound of running, and turned around to look out the window. That was when i saw Issei and his friends running from the kendo club. I could feel my eye twitch. Rias and Akeno looked out the window when they saw i hadn't looked away yet and saw what i did. Rias just pinched the bridge of her nose and Akeno just giggled. Me? I was annoyed. I opened the window, and GLARED at Issei. He stopped in his tracks and instinctively turned my way.

"It's your FIRST FUCKING DAY! FUCKING DAMMIT GREMLIN!" Issei, his friends and the kendo club girls just froze as i shouted. "TAKE YOUR BEATING LIKE A MAN! WE WILL TALK ABOUT THIS LATER!" He reflexively saluted and didn't move as the kendo girls advanced onto him. His friends were still frozen at my glare, and the kendo girls sent me their thanks as they beat on the boys. Rias didn't look surprised. Just exasperated at the lengths Issei went even when Irina liked him. Akeno on the other hand? She was blushing after my shout and as she watched the boys get their shit kicked in. I think she was damn near gasming, but i didn't want to risk smelling her to find out. I just sighed and went back to my seat. The girls followed, Akeno needed a bit to collect herself, and we finished our lunch. The day went from there, and eventually it was time for P.E.

We went to the gym, and after getting into the uniform, we all went to the gym. The gym uniform was annoying, but as a 6'2 toned bombshell with a 6 pack, it's hard for things to look bad on me. My figure was something i was always proud of. Sure i may have wished to look like Erza before, but now? I was taller then her, more fit, had a slightly bigger bust and a perfect ass. My figure was mine now, and i loved it. Though when Martha stopped growing at 5'10 and was only slightly different from Irene, she would not stop grumbling about 'Dragon bullshit'. That thought made me chuckle, which made Rias look at me with her brow raised. I just waved my hand up and down, and she got it. Eventually, everyone was changed and we went into the gym. I thought i smelled Issei and his friends, so i turned, and saw them peaking through the door-frame.

Issei met my gaze, and knew made a mistake. We held the others stare before he turned and started running for his life. The other boys looked back at him, and turned back to see why he ran. When they saw me? They understood and bolted. My annoyance took a backseat to the thought 'How the hell are they fine? The kendo girls beat the shit out of them!' and i decided i'd rectify that mistake later. The other girls in the class thanked me for getting them away, and we went on with P.E. I was still annoyed with Issei, so i didn't bring up my 4 way spar. I just spent my time with a normal spar, and playing a match of volleyball with the girls. Gym ended after nothing else worth mentioning happened. We still had other classes left, so i just let the day pass me by. After the day was over, i broke off from the girls and moved out to find Issei. Eventually, i found him, but when i did, i just had to stop and process what i was seeing.

There was a girl i've never seen before in my life, who set off a weak bell somewhere in my mind, asking out Issei. I was so dumbfounded that i couldn't respond to when he said yes. Irina tries to get Issei's attention for years, then this bitch comes out of nowhere and just asks him out? The fucking nerve of the both of them! {Martha... A girl just asked out Issei.} I think i heard something crash somewhere, but it may have been my imagination. {I'm sorry. Tara? Can you repeat that for me?} So i did. And she was still dumbfounded. Just like i was. {Wait... didn't you say something about that before? I haven't picked your brain about the anime in years... But didn't this happen in it?} {I don't know! I forgot about whatever i knew years ago!} And that was true. The little i knew about the anime ended up being forgotten as the years went by. All i remembered was that Issei was the protagonist, and his sacred gear had a dragon in it. {Then do you want to follow her?} Good question. We definitely could do that... But maybe i was just overreacting?

I thought about it, and decided to let Rias know about that. After i was able to bring myself together, i shook my head and walked over to Issei and grip the back of his head like a vice. I remembered what i was looking for him for, and it was time he pay up. He stiffened the instant he realized what was going on, and slowly started to turn his head. The girl that asked him out looked at us curiously, but i thought i felt something in her gaze. Something dark, but i filed it away for after i dealt with Issei. "Issei. I thought i told you not to fuck up. It was your one warning, and what did you do on your very first day here?" He knew he was fucked, he just went limp in my grip and let out a very weak chuckle. "I uh-... I fucked up?" "Oh you did. BUT!-" He started to perk up, "-Seeing as i've seen something rarer then a blue fucking moon, you'll collect later." Then i let him go. He gave me a wide-eyed look, and i let him hug me. He was respectful about it.

While he was hugging me, i brought my gaze to the black haired, busty girl that asked Issei out. I looked at her, really LOOKED, and saw the mask, and what was underneath. The smile she had on was fake, the 'joy' and 'curiosity' in her eyes were hiding the irritation and anger she was feeling. I narrowed my eyes when i saw that, and raised my sense of smell to dragon levels, and took a whiff. Other then that ungodsly amount of perfume, i smelled something dark. There was light mixed in with it, but it was definitely dark. And that's when it clicked. This bitch was a Fallen Angel! {Fallen! Am i allowed to vaporize her?} Martha was silent for a bit, and i could feel her going to find Sona, so i had to wait for an answer. So while i was waiting for that, i zoned back into the girl.

"So, whatcha like about the gremlin ms?" She 'looked' happy when i addressed her and 'smiled' when i asked her name. "My name's Ameno Yuuma! It's nice to meet you! And Issei-kun is so kind, and i just knew we'd be great for each other." I narrowed my eyes some more at her. When she said 'queen' the venom in her eyes and the very discreet sarcasm in her tone implied there was more to that then i knew. But i let it slide. Issei was by my side and he didn't know the hidden battle going on in-front of him. "You sure? He did get the shit kicked out of him after perving on the kendo club earlier. And he perved on us during P.E, does that sound like the kind of person you'd want to be with?" I saw Issei's eyes widen and he looked at me in panic!

"Tara-chan what're you doing!?" "Don't question me gremlin, it's mandatory that someone that cares for you vet potential dates." (Even if this bitch might be dead by the end of the day.) He looked conflicted, but didn't question me. Good. But the 'Yuuma' girl? I could see her anger rising behind that mask of joy. She nodded in 'understanding' and went along with it. "She's right Issei-kun! It's girl code, and you can never go against girl code." "But i'm not a girl? How does that have anything to do with me?" "Don't question it gremlin. It's a girl thing." He blinked and just took it in. I looked back to the 'Yuuma' girl, and refocused on her. {Sona has said there shouldn't be any Fallen here. I'll join you later and we'll follow her. If it's just her, we dispose of her. If there are more of them? I'll see if there's any information to use and get Sona to pass it along to Serafall.} {Got it.} "Anyway, i'll leave you and Issei be for now. Unless you're done with him?" She nodded, and took her leave. Good. {She's leaving now. I'll walk Issei home and meet up with you later.} {Understood.} And that's what i did. I walked Issei home, greeted the Hyoudou's, and left.

Martha met me at the school, and gave me a cloak, and a 'Notice-Me-Not' ward. We nodded to each other and i started to track where the 'Yuuma' girl went. It didn't take long for me to find her trail, and follow it. Her perfume was too strong, and that was an easy trail to follow. 10 minutes later, and we were standing outside a decrepit church at the edge of town. But that wasn't what gave me pause. What gave me pause were all the scents, and feelings of movement that i was getting from the place. "For an abandoned church, there's an awfully suspicious amount of people either here or moving through here." Martha hummed at that. "I'll check it out, i'll let you know if you should blow it to hell." I nodded and waited by the trees as she went in. If we weren't caught breaking into the Vatican, what would a run-down church be against us? So as i waited, i thought about what i should do. Sure i could roar it to oblivion, but if we needed prisoners? I didn't exactly have many low collateral spells. (Hmm, [Renewal Taekwondo] it is then.)

After i decided on that, i waited on Martha, and eventually she got back to me. {We are free to move against them. They aren't under their leaders command. The Fallen we'll need alive, so i'll go collect them. You can destroy the church.} {You just made my minutes of thinking pointless! I was ready to beat them down!} {Oh i'm sooo sorry, do you want to fight the 4 Fallen and their very small army of stray exorcists?" {YES! That's exactly what i want to do!} {Ughhh! Fine. I'll grab whatever we need to not get our friends in trouble.} {'Kay, just give me the go ahead.} She just grumbled back, and i went back to waiting. I didn't really know what to think about, but eventually, my thoughts settled on Irina. We'd have to tell her about the Fallen aiming at Issei... {Actually. Why are they after Issei in the first place?} {His sacred gear. They assume it's going to awaken soon, The readings they got from it informed them it was a threat, so he was put under observation. However, at some point, the orders were changed to elimination and extraction. There's more here, but that was the only file i've read so far.}

I felt my eye twitch at that. Elimination? On Issei? I was going to enjoy beating them down. Martha came out of the church, and teleported away, to give Sona everything she found, and gave me the go ahead. I could feel the smile that split my face after she did, and i cracked my knuckles as i took off my cloak and the ward, as i walked up to the church, and kicked the front door down. "ALRIGHT YOU FUCKERS, ITS TIME TO DIE!" My shout made everyone in my sight pause. But before anyone could react, i coated myself in lightning and rushed towards the closest people i could see. I hit the first guy with a Roundhouse-kick and i started bulldozing through everyone else from there. The vast majority of these guys were base-humans, so my dragon strength was overkill on them. But by the time i was a good halfway done with whoever i saw, the first of the Fallen came out. A busty blue haired woman. She looked at the destruction i was causing, and instantly got pissed.

"Who do you think you are!? Do you kn-" I cut her off when i just turned into lightning and flashed in-front of her. I wasn't stupid. Why would i let an enemy monologue or try to stall? As soon as i materialized in-front of her, i hit with a lightning coated [Renewal Taekwondo Gor-Yo] and knocked her out. I kept going and easily knocked out the other stray exorcists, the only one of them worth mentioning was a annoying guy that said he'd 'rape the fuck out of my whore ass' he got a [Renewal Taekwondo Baekdu, and Lightning style Thunder-Punch] to the dick for his troubles. Eventually, the other 3 fallen came out, and when they saw everyone knocked out? Oh they were livid. But the 'Yuuma' bitch? Oh she lost her shit.

"You! YOU! YOU!" "ME!" "How dare you! Do you know how long it took to gather these forces?! Do you know what you've just done human!?" I just snorted at her. That seemed to do it, she spread her wings and took to the air as she and the other fallen, a small girl in a gothic lolita dress, and a 90's detective movie reject, joined her in the air and threw dozens of light spears at me. I just raised my brow and let my wings pop out and shield me from their assault. I heard some maniacal laughter from the bitch, so i flapped my wings and let the dust clear out. The laughter stopped, and the trio of crows just stared at me. "Your first mistake was assuming i was human." I slowly started to transform. They stared in horror as my tail came out and saw my wings grow. "You're second mistake was targeting one of mine." I dropped to all fours and let them see my arms and legs morph as my face started to change. "And your final mistake-" I grew as i whipped my tail at the walls of the church, blasting them open, and finally grew to my full form as i flapped my wings, clearing all the dust and nearby debris away from me.

The sight of a pissed off 54' long and and 12' tall golden dragon wreathed in lightning seemed to be enough for them to really understand, they fucked up. "-Was assuming there would be no consequences to coming into our territory." Lightning dragon's Tail-Slam!' I spun and sent them all into and through the walls of the church, and knocked them all out in that swing. {I'm done with them.} I turned back and started to get all the Fallen into one spot, and used whatever i could find to tie them together, and dragged them behind me. I didn't really know what to do with them, so i just tied them to the closest tree i could find, and waited for the others to come and collect them.

I didn't have to wait for long, since Sona and her peerage teleported in first, immediately followed by Rias and hers. Mom walked over to me, looked me up and down, and just nodded as she sat next to me. The rest of them took one look at the church, then at me and the tied up and unconscious fallen, and just moved on. "Did you have to destroy the church? Not that i or anyone else will complain, just curious." Sona really didn't mind, so i just told the truth." Nope. But i did it in a badass way that might give them nightmares, so it was worth it." Rias and mom let out intrigued hums and everyone else just went to get the stray exorcists that were either dead or buried under the church rubble. After a few minutes of doing that, we were all ready to head back out.

We all teleported home, and broke off to deal with the fallout. Sona took her peerage to go over the files Martha stole from the fallen, and i went home with Rias' peerage to talk about Issei. We all sat it the living-room and just talked it out. Eventually, mom brought up a good question. "What about Irina-chan? Shouldn't we let her in on this?" And she was right. Irina had mellowed out about the fact she was best-friends with a devil. Add that to her affection for Issei? She definitely deserved to know. So, i reached to gra- "Koneko. Can you move your head for a bit?" She just looked up at me, and moved. Slowly, but she still moved her head from my lap. "Thank you." Anyway, i grabbed my phone from my pocket, and called Irina and set it on speaker. It took a bit, but eventually someone picked up. (Irina is taking a shower, identify yourself or i'll hang up.) The nerve of this bitch.

"Xenovia, we both know you can read, stop it. Anyway, just tell Irina it's me and that it's important." There was silence for a few seconds, and i was wondering if she had me on mute. Wouldn't have been the first time. (Is it important important, or just normal levels of important?) "Xenovia... You're so lucky i can't beat the shit out of you." (You didn't answer. I'll just assume it isn't that important and ha-'Xenovia who is it?' The heathen. 'Which one?' The one you call oneesan. 'REALLY! Coming!' You do- 'ap ap ap, phone, gimme!' fine.) There was a rustling noise for a few seconds, but at-least i knew Irina was getting her phone. Xenovia and I never got along, and i just didn't know why. (Tara-oneesan! Did something happen?) "Yeah, it's why i called. Is Xenovia still in the room?" She didn't say anything, but i heard the someone moving, and eventually the sound of a door locking.

(Not anymore! So, what's up?) "Well.. Eh, fuck it. The Fallen made a move against Issei a-" (WHAT?! IS HE OK?) "-If you would've let me finish, you would've known he's absolutely fine and none the wiser. We were considering having him reincarnate so he'd have protection against anything else like that, but we wanted to know if you would be ok with it." I think i heard her mumbling something, but it was too low for me to make out. She then went quiet for a bit before she responded. (Would he change. As a person i mean? Will he still be the Issei i love?) "Of course he would. Hell, i could finally physically beat the sense into him if he was a Devil. Teach him not to accept dates from a girl he just met." (...Ok. Maybe i should let you do that if that's how he was singled out. And i might even be able to help with that too!) Now that got us. We all knew the church kept her and Xenovia close. So hearing that she might be coming? That was a surprise.

"What do you mean?" (It's supposed to be hush-hush, a big secret you know? But there's talk about some of the Excalibur fragments having been stolen. The higher ups tracked them to kuoh, somehow, and i've heard through the grapevine that they'll be sending me and Xenovia to retrieve them. If nothing changes, we should see each other in a month!) Damn. Maybe i should call Irina more often. She's a fountain of unexpected and important knowledge. "Huh... If only Xenovia wasn't involved, i would've been over the moon." (Mou! I'll get you two to be friends one of these days!) "Never happening." She just made another noise, and we eventually finished the conversation. Rias looked contemplative, Akeno still looked annoyed at not having been allowed to 'play' with the Fallen, Kiba seemed to be zoned out, but i saw his fists were clenched, mom was excited that Irina was going to be over in a month, and Koneko was back in my lap snoring a little bit. I didn't even notice when she went to sleep.

"There is absolutely no way this is a coincidence. Fallen in our territory, missing holy swords, and now the church is sending both of their Excalibur wielders? Something's happening here, and i don't like it at all." Rias led off with what i was thinking, and we went from there. We threw out ideas and theories, but we didn't know what we had to prepare for. {We found something.} Ah, my savior. {Can you get everyone together and all come home, we got some news from Irina and it'll be easier to brainstorm with everyone here.} {On it.} "Martha's got something, she'll be here with Sona and her peerage in a bit. Should i go get Issei now?" Rias thought about it, and nodded. "Let's just get all of this out of the way now. This does involve him after-all." i agreed and, after deciding it would just be easier to compromise with her, moved Koneko to my back, and left to get Issei.

I got some looks because of Koneko, but i just ignored them. The Hyoudou's should let me take Issei without thinking much of it, perks of being a childhood friend, so i didn't have to think much about that. But what i was worried about was Issei. We were pretty much about to drop a nuke on him, and i was worried about how he'd take it. I shook those thoughts out of my head. He was one of mine, if he needed help to think or just wanted to talk, i'd be there. No point about worrying over something like that. I walked up to the Hyoudou's door and knocked. Issei's mom answered, and i told her i'd need to borrow Issei for potentially the rest of the day. She easily accepted that, and paid no mind whatsoever to the sleeping cat-girl on my back. Issei came down the stairs, and froze when he saw me.

"Relax. This is about something else." "Oh thank god!" Koneko stirred at the 'god' but she was still asleep, so it was fine. Issei waved off his mom, and followed me out of the door. "So... Why's Koneko sleeping on your back?" "I had to compromise. It was either this or i wouldn't be allowed to get up." He just raised his brows at me and started to laugh. The fucker! He must've seen the look on my face, and started to laugh harder. "Yeah yeah, laugh it up gremlin. I'll get you for this later." "Sounds like a problem for future me." I paused mid step and looked him. I created a smartass! He even had the gall to smirk at me! It's like he had a sudden boost of conf- oh... Yeah, that makes sense. "You're lucky this is important, and i need you conscious for this." He just blinked at me and i could see the confusion radiating out of him. "You'll find out soon."

Issei didn't have anything to say to that, and just kept following me. After we got home, he saw everyone in the living-room and the few people in the kitchen, and looked even more confused. "Uhhh... Am i in trouble or something? Because whatever it was, i swear i didn't do it!" I just snorted and dragged him to one of the free chairs at the kitchen counter, and sat him down. "So... Who wants to go first?" Rias and Sona looked at each other, and seemed to be debating about that with their eyes. Eventually they just started to settle it with a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Rias ended up winning, much to Sona's annoyance, and started us off. She told Issei about what they were, and had to bring their wings out to get it through to him that they were serious, and then opened up about 'Yuuma' or more specifically, Raynare, which was her real name, and the reason she asked him out on a 'date' and all the confidence that he had earlier was gone.

He slumped down in his seat, and just looked depressed. I was gonna try to help him feel better, but after what he said next, i needed Rias to physically restrain me to keep myself from strangling him. "Man... The first girl that looked like she wanted me just wanted to kill me? I'll never get a girlfriend like this!" I pried Koneko off of me, gently, and was moments away from letting Issei know just how annoyed that statement made me. But Rias rushed over and held me back. "Don't do it Tara-oneesan! We'll let him figure out the error of his ways later! Just endure it!" Everyone just watched as i huffed, but didn't try to break free of Rias' hold, and eventually gave up. I was still annoyed at him so i decided to head out and treat myself to get the thought of strangling him out of my mind. {Going to the cake shop, want anything?} {Just get me whatever you're getting.} {Gotcha.} And so i was off.

I texted Irina about how close i was to ending Issei, and she replied a minute later that she didn't blame me this time. I kept texting Irina, even after i bought 2 strawberry, a chocolate, a red velvet and vanilla cake slices. Irina eventually signed off for the day, and i went back home with my snacks. I knew i'd be guilt tripped if i didn't get them any, so i ended up getting the slices for Koneko, mom and Rias. As i was walking back, i got a message i sort of expected. {He's accepted becoming Rias' pawn. He heard about the possibility of a harem and jumped at the chance... I can feel your annoyance leaking through, i'll just come pick up my slice and leave you be.} I just exhaled, HARD, and just handed her the boxes for the rest of our family, and watched as she teleported back. I just breathed in and out for a few minutes, before texting Irina about what just happened, and flew off to the mountain our training ground was at.

I went into the building we would stay at, and put everything i was sure i'd break on accident, along with my cake, and headed back out. I fully transformed and roared in annoyance. Any wildlife that was in the area immediately fled. After that, i just slammed my tail into the ground, and rampaged up the mountain until i was satisfied. A half hour in, Martha sent another message. {Issei is currently afraid for his life. We heard your roar from home, thank you for giving me even more work by the way, and we are running damage control. Just wanted to let you know.} I just groaned and laid in the crater i made, and didn't do anything else. Eventually, i went back to the building and ate my cake to feel better. I sighed and just started heading home. The natural healing wards should fix the plant-life by the end of the week. I'd let them worry about the craters later.

When i got home, Koneko immediately jumped onto me and rubbed her cheeks against mine in thanks. Rias just mouthed 'i feel you' and 'thanks for the cake' which got a nod out of me. Issei shrieked in fear and hid behind Kiba, who just rubbed his eyes and sighed. Mom was in the kitchen but shouted 'welcome back honey' and Martha was in the library with Sona and the rest of her peerage. They were almost done with all the files, so i didn't want to bother them. {Where are the Fallen?} So i came up with another idea. {With us. After i finished studying them, Tsubasa's been knocking them out whenever they wake up. She's getting bored of it. Want to take over?} I thought about that. Did i? {Nah. I'll figure out something else.} {Whatever.} I just looked around, and when nothing came up, i just looked at Rias. "Hangout?" Not even a second later, Rias is by my side and looking ready to go.

And that's how i spent the rest of my day. With Koneko on my back, and Rias by my side as we watched a movie and ate snacks in peace. It helped me chill out and forget all about killing Issei. After it was dark, and everyone that decided to go home did, Rias decided to stay over, and Koneko almost always did, so i brought out my wings and tail, and wrapped them around us as we went to sleep. Waking up to a naked Rias was always a bit weird, but i just shook it off, and woke her up as i let Koneko sleep. I went over to my desk and popped a lightning bead into my mouth and woke up. After Rias got dressed, we walked downstairs and saw Martha making breakfast, mom packing up our lunches, and Serafall eati- "Huh?" Rias looked at where i was staring, and saw Serafall Leviathan in her magical girl outfit eating oreos at out kitchen counter. Serafall turned up to us, mid bite and i saw her eyes shine.

"Ta-tan! Good morning! Did you sleep ok? Do you need a hug from your favorite magical girl? " Serafall being here confused me until my brain caught up with yesterday. Being the go to for Foreign-Relations, made it obvious that she'd be sent over. But... "Did it haveee to be the first thing in the morning?" Serafall just put on a face of mock hurt, and raised a hand to her heart. "How mean! The most awesome magical girl Levia-tan never makes home appearances to her fans you know. This is a once in a lifetime event!" I just looked at her as she stuffed another oreo into her mouth. "Didn't you drop by 2 months ago and say the exact same thing?" I watched as she stopped chewing and thought about it. "That was only 2 months ago? Oh well. It still stands! This is a twice in a lifetime opportunity!" I just sighed as i finished walking down the stairs and sat next to her.

I was fine with Serafall at this point. We were friends, and the first time i allowed her to ride on my back? She was like a child in a candy shop, i even forgot she could probably crush me on accident with how much fun we had. I accepted her nickname for me and we would spend time together, originally to make it up for scaring me, but later she grew to like me. So when she wasn't busy tormenting Sona, which was 99% of her time spent while she was here, the other 1% was with us. She liked Martha, because she reminded her of Sona, and she liked to talk and spend time with mom. She was like an aunt... An aunt that could level the entirety of japan if she got pissed enough, but an aunt nonetheless.

Rias eventually made it to my side, and started eating her breakfast as i reached for an oreo from Serafall's side, She didn't mind, and just kept eating as she hummed a tune. "So, what's gonna happen with the fallen?" She finished chewing her oreo and downed the milk next to her before she answered. "Depends. Azazel won't ask for anything, since Devils weren't involved, and his people were all brought in alive. He might ask to meet you and your sister, probably give you a medal or talk your ear off or something like that, and then go on his way to kick the Grigori into shape for trying to poach on Devil claimed land." That got us interested. "A medal? Why?" "Remember the archives you obliterated?" I nodded. "He investigated it and knows it was draconic in nature, and he's been going stir crazy trying to figure it out. Your type of magic is toootally different then normal dragon magic, so he's been trying to figure out all that he can about it. Buuut, he hasn't really had much luck. So when the subject of his interest cleans up one of his messes? He'd probably kiss you if he wasn't worried about you frying his balls."

That made me and Rias choke on our food. "That was one guy!" "Just proof that you can do it to him." I just groaned. She wasn't wrong. He could probably heal from it, but it probably wouldn't be worth it for him to go through it in the first place. "Anyway, thanks for the files and food Mar-tan! Now Magical girl Levi-tan is off to get a refill on So-tan! Byeeee!" And then she was gone.,, "You know what... I'm skipping today." I turned over to Rias. "Cover for me?" She just raised a thumb and kept on eating her food. Mom finished packing lunches, and came over to take Rias' plate. We talked about normal stuff, and eventually everyone left for school. I just stayed home and had the news playing in the background. The only thing that i heard worth mentioning was some gym teacher confessing about being a major asshole, and i had no idea why that felt familiar. Eventually i got bored and decided to go manga hunting.

I snagged a nice haul, and went back home content. I heard Rias was going to go stray hunting, and was going to bring Issei along, but i wanted to keep relaxing so i just let them go on their own. They'd be fine.

{Issei's 1st person POV}

Yesterday... Yesterday was so weird! I was finally able to step foot into the promised land, and it changed my life forever! More then i was expecting it would. Sure, i might've pissed off Tara-chan, but i knew she'd only leave me bruised, she always did. But after everything i learned yesterday? That the girl who asked me out yesterday, which was so fucking awesome at the time, was a Fallen Angel that wanted to kill me, and Tara-chan destroyed their base and killed a bunch of guys called exorcists because they threatened me? That left me worried. But i thought i'd be fine. She wouldn't go THAT far against me... Right? But after i said something about never finding a girlfriend, i thought i saw my life flash before my eyes. I was still confused about why that set her off. Did she like me or something? Nah, that was definitely impossible. So if it wasn't that, what was it? It looked like Rias-buchou knew why, but she wouldn't tell me what it was about when i asked.

'You'll probably find out next month.' She said. What was so special about next month? I didn't think there was anything happening at that time, so what would i find out? Other then that, when i was asked if i wanted to be turned into a Devil, i didn't know if i should accept it. They were stronger and lived longer then anything i've ever heard about, but when Rias-buchou said some High-class devils made their peerages a harem? I was sold! I ignored the long sigh that came from her, and watched as the pawn piece filled me u- entered m- fused. Fused with me. At the time, i didn't feel different, but apparently i would feel it the day after. I just accepted that and started to think about how i'd get as strong as possible and as fast as possible so i could fulfill my dream and have the harem of my dreams! But then when i heard the sound of something roaring louder and more ferocious then anything i've ever heard? I almost peed myself.

Everyone else didn't react, and i didn't notice when some cake slices appeared, but when i was told it was Tara-chan, and she was annoyed with me, i was VERY scared. I spent the rest of that time being told about Devil history, what the pieces did and what piece i was, and even my sacred gear! A cool looking gauntlet which was something called the boosted gear, even though it was still in it's 'dormant' state, whatever that meant, and other stuff i didn't really pay attention too, but then Tara-chan came back, and i instinctively hid behind Kiba, they only other guy in the house at that time. Which was a weird and nice thought when i had time to think about it. 2 guys alone in a house of sometimes up to 12 very attractive women? It was almost a dream come true! If only some of those women didn't scare me. And speaking of scary women.

"Stray Devil Viser! I Rias Gremory, heir to the house of Gremory of the 72 pillars of the underworld sentence you to death for the crime of killing your king. Prepare for your judgement." Rias-buchou was gorgeous. You couldn't be one of the great ladies of kuoh without that. But now? With her wings out and orbs of her power spinning around her shaped like saws? She looked VERY intimidating. Especially when her attacks tore into the weird half-naked spider woman. At-least i got to see some great oppai before she died.

"Aww, Riaaaas~ why couldn't you save some for me? Everyone's been having fun, everyone but me! I have my needs you know!~" Akeno Himejima, the 2nd great lady. She was currently holding Rias-buchou's arm between her oppai, and fidgeting in place with a frustrated face. She was just as gorgeous as Rias-buchou, and was currently making it a little hard for me to focus on anything that was being said. But when she turned to me and said 'i guess he'll have to do' i didn't hear anything else. I didn't even hear Rias-buchou sigh again.

{Tara's 1st person POV}

I just knew it. I ended up bored though, so i just decided to get more cake. I'd end up working off the calories anyway, so why shouldn't i indulge myself? I kept on going and ended up running into Koneko. She was heading to the cake shop and even had her little purse with her. She was just adorable. We walked together and both looked for a cake to buy. My relationship with Koneko was a weird one. I know she felt safe with me and considered me as a big sister, but she never said it. Even after the years of time we spent together she never called me Oneesan. I was a little tempted to ask Rias about it, and why she was so scared of her Nekoshu features, which popped out on accident one time when she slept in our cuddle pile, but after the event with Kiba's past, Rias and i decided to let her tell me on her own. But at the rate things were going? I wasn't sure if i'd ever learn about it. Koneko was a girl of few words, and i wasn't going to force her to speak more if she didn't want too. I'd just let her have a safe place to call home and a family that was there for her.

I got my strawberry cheesecake, and Koneko got her chocolate cake with a few cupcakes. We paid for them, and walked out of the shop. I was going to offer to carry them for her, but she just opened her box of cupcakes, and started to devour them in gusto. I always called bullshit when i saw her do this. She could eat a meal fit for a small family, and not even gain a pound! "You know, if you don't eat healthy, you'll always stay small." That touched a nerve, good. "Not small... You're all just big." Her eyes immediately went to my chest and then my height. "You're just big. Very big." I just smiled and folded my arms under my bust. "Oh i know." I watched as she looked down at hers, and cupped them. "They'll grow... I know they will." I just laughed and put my free hand on her head. "Sure they will lovie, just keep telling yourself that." She let out a mewl of annoyance, but still leaned into my touch.

"Anyway, how'd the hunt go?" She was quiet for a bit, but i knew she was contemplating answering or just letting me find out later. "Good... Rias killed her instantly. Overkill." Ahh. That'd do it. Rias' 'Power of Destruction' was kind of fucking broken, please don't nerf, and when she trained against me with it? My scales took a glancing hit from it and i just watched as i suddenly had a massive gash on my side. We trained her use of it and damn was i impressed with it. Rias got creative with it and even tried some anime moves. She'd even call out some attack names, which i did cause it actually increased my attacks power, and her because she was a fellow weeb. "If you knew she'd handle it on your own, why'd you go?" "Rias is family. Family sticks together... No matter what." I almost didn't catch that last part, but it wasn't the first time i heard her views on family.

I didn't push it, i just kept massaging her head, and we walked in comfortable silence. We ended up home in time to see Rias talking to Martha about something, and watched as Martha suddenly teleported somewhere. I just waited, and eventually a magic circle that looked like Rias' formed where Martha was, and out she came. I was curious about that, so i just walked up and sat besides Martha. "So, what was that about?" Rias turned to me and answered since Martha seemed to be in her thoughts. "It was something we thought of in the moment a while ago. Martha-oneesan brought up magic circles and if she was able to copy mine if she studied it enough. We did some tests, and that was the first time it worked." Huh. I didn't get it. That was more complicated then i liked so i just left it be and let Martha figure out what that entailed.

I just spent my time with them, and Koneko left and decided to hang out with Tsubasa at some point, and eventually the day passed like that. The next morning went almost like the last one... The only difference was that it wasn't Serafall that i found at our kitchen counter. Sitting there was a man eating a western breakfast of pancakes, bacon and eggs, as he was talking to my sister, it was Azazel. I knew what he looked like because Serafall showed me a picture of him before, but seeing him was different. I was a little unnerved by his presence, but i was used to Serafall and Sirzechs, i could handle him. Rias didn't even seem to mind him and just sat by Martha's side as she dug into her breakfast. It was too early for this shit, so i just sat next to the guy and ate my breakfast. The guy didn't even notice me since he was talking about something with Martha, i heard phrases like 'sacred gear' and 'twilight healing' thrown around but the magic jargon kept me zoned out. The only reason i zoned in was because i heard something that i thought i misheard.

"Thanks for this Martha-chan. I honestly didn't know what to do about her, what with Raynare's plan and all that. But with your similar abilities and that brain of yours, it'll put me at ease knowing little Asia-chan will be safe in this house." Huh? 'In this house?' "What?" That was when the dude noticed i was literally right next to him. I saw him blink a few times before a scary light shone in his eyes. "It's you! Do you know the amount of headache's you've given my right hand man?" Huh? My confusion must've shown on my face since he dove right in without letting me say a word. "I've been trying to match your magic to ANYTHING that i've ever recorded, but the only thing i get matches for is a kind of draconic magic. And that's it! Nothing from a particular group, nothing from a specific time period, nothing that other pantheons have even encountered! It's like your brand of magic just poofed into existence one day! That doesn't happen! I've just been throwing everything else at Shemi ever since i first found a trace of it.

Nice crater by the way. Anyway, even with a few more samples from the church, i still can't match your brand of magic to any of the old dragons or pantheons that have dragons in their legends. So, come on and spill the beans, hows your magic work? What's it called? Can it be taught? Where'd you learn it?!" {MARTHA HELP!} The man just bombarded me with question after question, and i was being overwhelmed not even a half hour i woke up. I didn't even take a lightning bead. "Her brand of magic is called Dragon-Slayer magic, it can be taught, but she doesn't know how. It works in different ways that we can discuss later, and Tara was born with it." HUH? {Why are you telling him that?!}

{He already knew the answers to at-least half of his questions. He was only looking for clarification. Tara, the man is SMART. If he had a hint, which he'd find if he looked at us and just decided to watch Fairy Tail, or at our mother when she uses her magic or brings out her wings, he'd put enough pieces together to figure it out. Besides, the sooner his attention is off of you, the sooner i can go back to picking his brain about whatever i want.} Wait a minute... {Repeat that last line again.} {No. I will not.} {Martha?!} {Hush you!} {Oh we are SOOO talking about this later!} {Whatever.} After Martha's answers, to both his and my question, Azazel turned his attention back to her, and i saw that smile on her face. I knew it from our last life, it was a smile of interest!

I leaned back and looked over to Rias, who seemed to be getting the same idea as i was, and we just stared at each other. 'What do we do?' I mouthed over to her. 'We could just leave. Let them talk to each other, see where that may go?' I did think about that, but this was the leader of an entire faction! I couldn't beat the fucker yet if he hurt Martha. I mouthed that over to Rias, and she turned thoughtful. 'She's a big girl, she can handle it if things go bad... Right?' I thought about that... Since our lifespans were linked, she'd be fine as long as i didn't die. And with our link, i'd be able to tell how she was doing and if it got too dangerous, she could just teleport over to me... She would be safe... 'I guess..? Think they'll notice if we just get up and leave?' we looked over to them, and saw they were both looking at us, clearly amused at our side conversation. Rias and i just looked embarrassed at that.

I exchanged another look with Rias, and turned back to them. "Uhhh, how long were you paying attention to that?" My sister looked entirely too at this. "The start. multi-tasking exists oh dear sister of mine." That smug grin on her face was pure evil. "Besides as you put it, 'I'm the leader of a faction' if something like THAT got passed me, i might as well just retire." They were double teaming us! "But what about mom?" "Mom's been by the door for the last few minutes, just waiting on you two." That embarrassed us even more. We just got up, walked over to mom and left. Mom locked the door and the three of us just said nothing. Well, Rias and i said nothing, our mom on the other hand? "They grow up so fast." I tripped. I fucking tripped and fell from that. Mom just laughed at that as Rias helped me up. "Fucking hell mom, a little warning would've been great!"

"It's true though! I can remember holding you and your sister like it was yesterday. And now look at her. Getting her hooks into a man like that? Things are going to go great." "But Azazel is known to be a-" "Womanizer? Oh i know Rias, but Martha? She'll most likely beat it out of him given enough time. Besides, if things don't work out, she'll just leave and move on." That... That was true. "But now that Martha's looking at someone, all that's left are you and Tara." Hu- FUCK, i tripped again, and this time Rias was to embarrassed to give me a hand. Despite being a Devil and an exhibitionist, Rias was weak to conversations like this. After i got back up, i just led the way from that embarrassing conversation, until i zoned back in at a weird point.

"Hmm... I wonder how long the renovations will be." "The what?" "Ah! You weren't paying attention when they brought it up, and Rias was too busy eating, but Azazel brought it up at one point. We'll be taking in a nun." Me and Rias just stopped and watched as our mom kept going as if she didn't say some ridiculous shit. ""What?"" Mom just looked over her shoulder and hummed as she motioned for us to keep going. "Well, your sister found out the Fallen were going to take advantage of her and extract her sacred gear. Now, that would've killed her, but thanks to you girls, she'll be safe. But at that point, she was already in Fallen hands, and since Azazel didn't know what to do with her, he decided to have her come live with us. And when the issue of space came up, he offered to renovate our home for us. Don't know when they'll be done though. Probably should've asked him that when i had the chance... Oh well."

What the fuck was this morning? I was really regretting not taking a lightning bead. I should fix that. "Mom, can i get a pick me up? I'm too tired for this." She hummed, and made a small bit of her 'Dragon Lightning' over her hand and i ate it. Now that i was good to go, it was easier for me to go with this. "Actually, where's everyone else?" Rias just blinked at that, and seemed to finally realize it was just us. "Serafall gave Sona a heads-up that Azazel would come over, and she took it up on herself to walk everyone to school." Huh... I'd have to find a way to get Serafall back for not telling me about that. I could plan for it later. Mom started teasing us about relationships, but i saw Rias look a little troubled about something, but she'd probably tell me about it later. I ended up zoning out of that conversation, again, and i just kept at it until we made it to school. I let myself get distracted by the mundane school day, and thought about anything else. Eventually, my mind settled on the nun.

I wondered when she would get here, and eventually that led into the renovations of our house. I just figured we'd deal with those issues when the time came. And the time would be a week later, and then there'd be a whole other can of bullshit that'd pop up a good few days after that.

{Tara's 1st person POV a week later}

{Tara, wake up! Asia should be landing soon. We'll be picking her up so wake up and get dressed.} {Ughhh.} I begrudgingly got up after that. I pried Rias and Koneko off of me, and got up. I was still getting used to my new room, which was basically a high class suite version of my old one, double the size of my old room, had a queen sized bed, and enough space for almost anything i'd want. Our house ended up becoming a compound where both peerages moved into. It was easy when our house suddenly turned into a 6 story hotel. Azazel must've been crazy when he ordered for this to happen. We ended up with a whole library instead of the small one for our 4th floor, a gym for the 5th, and a movie theater for the 6th floor. It was cool as shit, just jarring. Our 2nd and 3rd floors just turned into living spaces, with enough room for everyone but we still had space, since people like Issei and Ruruko, lived with their parents.

Rias and Koneko had their own rooms, but they still enjoyed the cuddle pile. It was a free day, so we didn't have school so i let Rias and Koneko sleep. I took a lightning bead and freshened up, before i made my way downstairs. My room was still on the 2nd floor, but the other girls had their rooms on the 3rd floor, except for Rias, she took over Martha's room after she moved INTO the library. That was a day. I shook my head and made my way downstairs as i listened to the satisfying sound of my tail thump against the quality wood of our new stairs, and walked into the living-room. Our new living-room was basically a giant bar. We had a VERY nice selection of wine in stock too, Martha and mom pretty much worshiped Azazel for that. I probably would've too, but wine wasn't my speed. And as a dragon? I needed hard liquor to get tipsy.

We had enough space for everyone to be downstairs and then some. We had tables and everything. I made my way to the kitchen counter, and ate my breakfast next to Tsubasa. I was tempted to ask her for a spar later, but then i realized i'd probably be on guard duty for the nun, so i just stopped myself. I finished up my breakfast, and met up with my mother and sister at the front door. Mom was wearing a casual short sleeved shirt and pants, Martha was wearing a black sundress and a skirt with her usual brand of sandals, and i was wearing Erza's casual blouse and a pair of jeans. We all had our style, and this was usually mine. After we made sure we were ready, mom called out we'd be back soon, which had a variety of 'ok' and 'see you soon' and then we were off. We had to take mom's car, since the airport was a ways away, but the drive was nice. Martha had cast her translation spell on me and herself, mom didn't need it since she was a Devil, and we went over to wait for our new housemate.
