Pinky Promised

   Eve's POV

   I keep on coughing after I heard Caeron asking for the girl who run inside this store. Oh yeah, I almost forgot I was that girl. Mrs. Mina hand me some water and I gulped it in one shot.

   "Serves you right!". I heard slut boy said under his breath.

   I thank Mrs. Mina for the water and looked at her with a pleading eyes. She just smiled at me widely.

   I cleared my throat and looked at Amy and Emma grinning but didn't say anything.

   "I think the girl just run out to the back door when she saw a big bad whore is coming!". I said mockingly and I saw how Amy's mouth dropped and Emma almost fell on her chair. Wide eyes open.

   "What did you say?". I heard him from my back.

   "I'm sorry, are you talking to me". I side glance him and from my line of view I can see his nostrils moving in anger. I want to laugh honestly.

   "Eve!". I heard Amy's voice.

   "What?.... I didn't do anything.... I wasn't talking to him or anyone.... I'm just talking to myself, can't I just talk to myself now?". I gave Amy a very innocent look. Emma burst out laughing.

   "Emma if you're done let's go home". I heard him said.

   "Okay I'm almost done". She shove the rest of the ice cream to her mouth and stand up. "See you later guys".

  Amy and I both wave goodbye to her.

   Caeron's group along with Emma left the shop. Only me, Amy and Aiden's group were left.

    Everything went silent. Amy and Aiden keep glancing at each other but not talking. God this two love birds will grow old together as friends. I don't really like Aiden for my cousin because of his reputation just like Caeron, base on what I heard of course but my little Amy is so in love with him. Well, I'll just let them be for now but I swear if Aiden break Amy's heart I will going to kill him.

   After an hour of silence and almost dying from boredom. Aiden sent us home. He and his group walked us up to the front door of the house. Still in silent mode.

   "Good Lord!... Can someone say anything... Are we in silent movie or something!". Now I really am frustrated. I really can't stand silence.

   "Aiden, thanks for the treat". Amy said shyly.

   "Oh thank God she speak!". And I rolled my eyes to them. Aiden only chuckled.

   "See you tomorrow!". He said and waved goodbye. Amy just smiled at him.

   Aiden and his group already left and we just entered our house when Amy suddenly screamed her lungs out. I almost jumped out of shocked and Aunt Annalee came rushing down the stairs.

  "What!.... What happened?". She worriedly asked us.

   "I think your daughter just gone nuts!".

   "What?!". Aunt Annalee don't understand what I was saying.

   "Mum... I think I dated Aiden Greystone". And she squeal like a chipmunk.

   "What?.... You date who?". Aunt Annalee's forehead knotted. She is really totally confused and I laughed.

   "May I rephrased her words".I chuckled after. "She thinks she dated the hottest guy in school but the truth is he just treated us some ice cream". And I saw Aunt Annalee's face lighten. While my little cousin Amy is still in cloud nine. I just shook my head. Today is really an eventful day.

   The dinner was good, as always and I am preparing myself to sleep when a low knock came from my door. The same knock Amy use everytime she comes to my room.

   "Come in!". I said while preparing my bed.

   Amy came with a pillow on her one hand and a teddy bear at the other. " Eve, can I sleep here?". She said like a child.

   I looked at her and saw her pleading puppy little eyes. She is so cute and I grin widely. "Why is there a monster in your bed?". I will tease her first.

   She pouted and stomp her feet. She looked so adorable. "Hey Amy". I copied Aiden. "If you do that in front of him, he will be grossed to death!". Then I laughed at her reaction. I think she got pissed and about to leave when I said 'Okay'.

   She turned around quickly and jumped to my bed. I laughed again. If this what a real sister feels like then I am thanking God for lending her to me even for a short time. I know I will leave again after high school there's no university here in Banes Field so I need to move out again, soon.

   Amy took most of the bed. Well, what can I say it's a single bed only. She was in a curved  position like a ball while hugging Mr. Bear. And I was at the edge of the bed.

   "Eve, are you asleep?". She asked and I have a feeling she wants to strike a conversation.

   "Not yet, why?".

   "Nothing".

   I chuckled. "You like Aiden a lot?". Well she don't want to speak. I will speak for her then.

   "Yeah".

   "Since when?".

   Amy think for a moment. "Since we we're ten". And she hugged her bear tightly.

  "She gave you that right?". I saw her nod.

   "But Aiden is a player". That's my most concern.

   "He was not before, it only starts two years ago".

  I was stunned. My little cousin knows a lot of things about her man, or future husband. I grin at the thought.

   "What happened last two years ago?". My curiosity kicks in.

   "Well, you know Emma's brother Caeron". She starts with slut boy. Wait I didn't catch that earlier. Caeron is Emma's brother and Emma thinks he is an asshole. I chuckled. "They always have this little competition". As Amy continued her story.

  "Competition.... Slut competition?". And I laughed.

   "It's not supposed to be like that, but it turns out that way I guess". I felt like Amy also got confused with her story.

   "What are they competing anyway... Longest list of whore they fuck?".

   "Hey language... If Mum's hears you, you will going to be scold".

   "Sorry!.... But honestly speaking. What they were doing is really wrong.... I mean they are playing with women's hearts, a lot of hearts". I said disappointed with the two hunk of Central Banes.

   "But it was those girls who seek for their attention". Amy sounds defensive.

   "But still it was wrong". I said firmly to her. She went silent.

   After some minutes. "Eve, have you been kissed before?".

   "Nope!... Why you ask?".

   "Me neither.... I want my first kiss and all of my first to given to the man I will marry someday". She said seriously.

   "Me too, I don't have anything I can offer except for myself and I want my first to become a gift for my future husband". I sighed.

   "Then let's make a promise to only give our first after we are married to them".

  And we made a pinkie promise.
