Caeron's POV

My Cara is still alive!...

That's the thought that keeps running inside my head and the other is a question. Why can't she remember us and how she became a part of Sanchez family?...

"Nice tats!". Emma suddenly said and I saw how Eve looked at her innocently.

"Thanks, but I don't know where I get it. It's with me since I was born I guess". She simply said to Emma.

I looked at Amy and noticed how normal she behave. This means no one knows about the secret of the blood of the enchantress except for my family. I think it's a good thing. Eve being known as an enchantress can be in danger all the time and I don't want that to happen not until I settle our relationship.

But my biggest problem right now is how to workout my relationship with Cara or Eve. I know how much she despised me right now.

"Because your a man whore".

"Glad to hear from you again Aeries". I said to my wolf who happened to have a habit of insulting me every now and then.

"I told you before to stop playing around but no, you didn't stop. You're a big man right".

I sighed. I won't fight with my wolf starting today. I will need his help and all the help I can get.

"Eve..."

I saw my beautiful mates eyes shifted and landed straight to my mine. I was in awe. She really is a true beauty. And because of it I forgot what I wanted to say.

"Something wrong Steelblood?".

She said my last name like an insult or a tease. But damn!.... She said it so hot... I feel a burning sensation inside me. I wonder what would happen if she call my name while I'm on top of her.

I heard a lot of clearing throats inside the room. Damn, my mind was wondering and it's turning me on.

"Do you have anything to say to me?". Eve asked me again. I saw Emma glaring at me. I ignored her and cleared my throat.

"I am very very sorry. It was my guy who threw that ball but don't worry I will punish him". I said while staring at my beautiful mate.

"Can I kill him?".

"I'm sorry?". I was surprised with Eve's words. I don't know if I just misheard it or something but what she said almost makes my eyes popped out of my socket. Did she just said she wants to kill someone like just asking a candy from me?.

"Eve!". Amy called her name with a shocked expression.

"What?!.... I'm just asking". Eve said innocently to her cousin and my mouth is still in a gape.

We heard Emma chuckled. "Sure just tell me when and I will dig a hole for you, I will make sure to clean the evidence too". Then she crossed her arms to her chest.

"Emma, don't encourage her to hurt someone".

"Come on baby, like Eve could actually kill someone. She's just making a joke, right Eve?".

I heard Aiden said while hugging his Luna from behind. I envy him. I wish I could do that to my mate someday.

Amy just looked at Aiden but didn't say anything. My brows knitted. I felt something in Amy's gaze. She knows something about my mate that nobody else in this room knows. I also noticed how Aiden looked at Amy with a questioning stare but Amy just looked at Eve. Emotionless.

We suddenly heard the bell ring. It's time to go home. Amy helped Eve put back her hood. I wanted to be the one who's helping my mate right now but I wonder if she will even let me get near her.

"By the way Steelblood, you owe me!".

I snapped my head at her and my corner lips twitched up. "Sure tell me what you want and it's yours!". I suddenly said to her.

Eve looked at me suspiciously. She lift her hood and stared at me. "If I ask for your life, will you give it to me?".

"Gladly!". I said without blinking. I already owe them my life since I was a child and as her mate my life will be nothing without her.

"That's a stupid answer Steelblood". I heard her chuckle. "Why giving your life away so freely, tired of being a man slut anymore?". She said while grinning mischievously.

I know she wants to annoy me but what she said is true, I really was a man whore. But I will change everything starting today.

"Yes!.... Now that I found the one that I thought I'd lost a long time ago I wanted to change every wrong doings that I did before. I wanted to change for good now because I don't want to lose her again". That is the most sincere thing I have ever said in my entire life. I know I fucked my life to the core thinking only for myself but now that Cara is back, no she is Eve now, I want to clean my act. I won't be the perfect mate that she will want but at least a good one who will do everything to protect and love her.

"What did you have for breakfast?". She asked with a knitted brows.

"Pancakes and bacon, why?". I also asked curiously.

"Keep eating those food I think it's good for you!". She said smirking then shook her head.

"Yes ma'am!". I answered happily

Then Amy gently dragged her out of the clinic.
