Bane's expression turned serious. He stared at his sisters and nodded at them. He could only place his hopes in Mark.
"Do you think he'll do us this favor?" Bane whispered to his sisters.
"I'm not sure. He has always been a mysterious person. Let's just hope that the friendship we shared was genuine." Amira replied while looking at Mark. After he wore the mask, he seemed to have become a completely different person. It was like the man they spoke with yesterday wasn't real and this was the real him.
"You guys better stop talking. He is a Nascent Soul cultivator. Do you think he can't hear you guys?" Jasmine gave them a warning look.
Bane and Amira immediately shut their mouths. They then stared at Mark to see if he had noticed their conversation. However, he was wearing a mask so they couldn't see his expression.
