Something Borrowed, Something Blue and Something New

Demyan

The thought of walking down the aisle to Ethan in Pa's outfit was the biggest thing I would have ever done in my life. Especially knowing our little baby was growing in my stomach as we tied ourselves to one another for the rest of our lives. I wondered if I would be as beautiful as Pa.

He had not worn a single drop of makeup on his wedding. He presented himself to Dad with the purest possible version of himself because he said that was who Dad would be with for the rest of his life, not a dolled up version of himself.

"And you have a very special gift from the groom," Dad wiped away my tears. "You heard Eli, Demyan. Everyone is happy. You should be happy too now stop crying."

"I'm too happy," I laughed.
