Nathan

Demyan

Our little Nathan slept against Ethan's bare chest as he sat on the recliner next to my hospital bed. I did not think I had ever seen his eyes shine so bright as he looked down to our baby boy. We had always debated the name of our baby but we knew we wanted to carry the 'than' in Ethan's name.

As soon as Ethan held our baby for the first time he had declared his name would be Nathan and that was that. We had made his middle name Gordon which had Damien cheerfully cry when he carried his grandson.

Nathan Gordon Chernyshevsky-Coleman Jackson.

He looked so much like Ethan. His skin was a fair caramel, hair as dark as my favorite Kiwi, his eyes were mine; the bright blue that us Chernyshevsky's were all so famous for and his skin covered in freckles just like Eli and Lia. He was a big baby. Probably the biggest I had ever had. Every single one of our family members exclaimed at his weight when they first held him.
