I'll Scratch Up Your Legs

Demyan

I was awoken by the loud ringing of my phone on the bedside table next to me.

"Ignore it," Ethan's rasped in my ear and pulled me closer to his chest and kissed the junction of my neck and shoulder.

My body was too tired to even bother to reach out for the phone. We had probably fallen asleep around 3am and by the peak of the sun behind the hotel's curtains it was probably sunrise by how the darkness of the night was pushed back by the orange purple rays.

So with a content sigh I snuggled back against Ethan's chest and allowed my body to melt back into the comfortable bed. Yet not even a minute later the phone rang again ruining whatever little bubble of slumber we had. Ethan let out a groan as he rolled onto his back, his hair everywhere and dark circles under his eyes.

I probably looked worse.
