First Love

Demyan

There was a very weird tension in the air as EJ, Vasilisa and I lounged outside by the pool. It was winter therefore it was not like we were up to anything fun. We simply needed fresh air after hearing Dad and Pa try to console Oksana even though we had no idea what was going on.

It was extremely rare to see Oksana cry. Yes she threw fits and would threaten you but crying was not her niche. In fact I feared she was the exact opposite of me. It was depressing to see her cry and willingly hug me in front of all her cool high school friends.

"Do you think we should check on her?" Vasilisa frowned as she threw herself down on one of the pool lounging chairs.

"Dad said we should wait," EJ sighed, "You know how Oksana gets overwhelmed when there's too many people in the room. She probably needed to calm down."
