Chapter 1- Powers

The rain was supposed to drown every sound with no exception. Somehow, I could still hear the noise of those who were chasing me.

-Get him!

-Don't let him go away!

In this peculiar situation, you would expect me to have done something bad, something that made me fall in this problem, but I assure you that none of this is my fault.

You see, I have this power that lets me erase my presence- I don't know how I got it to be honest- and I tried to steal the wallet of this gangster that was smoking in front of the station. You see, totally innocent!

Ok, this might not have been the brightest idea, but in my defence, I really needed money. There's this skin in this game I play that needs me to spend money on. As you see, totally a normal reason to steal money. As to why I chose him as a target... Why not? It's more thrilling this way! (And he deserved it... I think?)

Anyways, we're getting a bit sidetracked here. What I wanted to say is that I'm being chased by two, three, four- I don't know how many people actually, they keep increasing.

I jumped over tracks, I ran through random passengers, I did everything to run away from these piggy ba- I mean from these gangsters. It was a thrilling experience... Or so I thought. Instead, I was immediatly caught and beaten up to death.

Why didn't you use your erasure ability, how did they even catch you stealing in the first place, you may ask. First of all, fuck you. Second of all, it's not my fault it suddenly started raining! Yes, there were heavy clouds in the sky and I may or may not have forgotten to check the weather report before executing my important mission, but I am not to blame!

And so here I am, in the middle of the street, all beaten up, as the Sun was setting.
