Chapter 1

"C'mon, Amelia! Let's go, you can't keep staying indoor drowning yourself in your thoughts" Sandra said trying to sway Amelia to go to the club with her; it was their friend's birthday.

"It's not that easy Sandra, we dated for three years" Amelia said in response still smuggled up in bed. Sandra got up from the bed and moved to the side, threatening to drag the duvet from her body,

"He's an asshole, a lying cheat!! You shouldn't waste your tears on him, he's not worth it, let's go out, you need to change your environment", Sandra continued removing the duvet, and dragging her out of the bed by pulling with her legs,

"I don't want to go anywhere, I don't even have what to wear" Amelia replied grumpily as she was been pulled out of the bed.

"That's not an issue", Sandra said bring out three gowns from her wardrobe to choose from. Amelia tried on the outfits and chose from one of it. Later that evening they both went to the club to join their other friends.

Ethan and his friends were at the club having fun, only for his friends, Jason and Liam to start making fun of Ethan, for his refusal to be with any girl after his fiancée's betrayal, convincing him that he could get any girl he wants but he has decided to stay on his own.

"These girls are all cheap there's really nothing special about any of them, after Belle did that to me with Levi, I don't see any reason I should waste time with any woman " Ethan said in defense.

"I know, that shit they both did was fucked up, but it's been six months already, you need to have fun bro, u need to go back to being the casanova we knrw before Belle came", Jason responded. Ethan persisted on not having anything to do with any woman. His friends proceeded to make a bet to prove his prowess by getting any girl at the club and having a one night stand with her. In desperation to prove to feed his ego, Ethan agreed to the bet.

Amelia was drinking a lot at the club as they were partying and was felt alone sitting after her friends convinced her to them at the dance floor but she refused as she was really tipsy. After a few minutes Ethan approached her, his eyes caught her from across the room sitting alone and he saw her as a perfect prey for him as she was already tipsy. They got talking, and to Ethan's surprise, she seemed intelligent, their laughter flowed with the rhythm of the music, as they shared stories. They found themselves drawn to each other in ways they couldn't resist, and Ethan found himself leaning closer as if a magnet was pulling him close to her and he couldn't resist. Amelia left a soft kiss on his lips as her intoxicated state made her lose her inhibition, Ethan pulled her closer as their lips met again letting themselves drawn in the moment of passion, the world and people around them ceased to exist as their kiss deepened even more by the minute, with their eyes closed, the kiss ignited a passion of desire.

As their lips parted, their eyes gazed at each other as they tried to catch their breaths, they eyes gave away a feeling of desperate longing, leaving them wanting more and they took a step to explore every depth of the desire they felt. They left the club, Ethan drove his car in a state of urgency as he was desperate to explore every inch of Amelia' soul.

Soon they arrived at a luxurious hotel in the city, the intensifying feeling was irresistible as they both couldn't get their hands off each other immediately they entered the hotel room, the air was filled with longing and desire as Ethan's hands desperately travelled every inch of her body. With each touch, Amelia let out a soft moan as it sent an thrilling shock through her veins, making her crave for him more.

Ethan took Amelia's clothes off slowly letting them fall to the ground and Amelia helped him with his, revealing their bare selves, compelled and unable to resist how beautifully structured her body was, he took her in his arm and kissed her more passionately. Every touch, every kiss enflamed an inextinguishable passion within them as their bodies interweaved, moans echoed in the room as they danced to the rhythm of their desires loosing themselves to the depths of their desires. Their moans increased with each pace, as they climaxed, Isabelle rested on Ethan's chest then they slept off.

The next morning, as the light shine through the curtains, Ethan stretched his hands trying to look for Amelia on the bed, only to find her gone when he opened his eyes. He was shocked to have realized she left without a word, and he had no way of contacting her as they couldn't exchange numbers because of how the whole situation played out, he only got her name.

His friends felt proud for him that he didn't let them down on the bet they made, but deep down in Ethan's heart, he felt empty even after trying his best to dismiss the thoughts of her on his mind.

Amelia continued with her jobs, but the memories of that night still plagued her mind, she constantly finds herself day dreaming about that night as nobody has ever made her feel that way before. One morning she got to the coffee shop where she works only to space out again thinking about Ethan.

"Amelia! Amelia!" Leah, her friend and colleague called out tapping her on her shoulders, Amelia turn in shock responded "y.. es! I'm sorry, I didn't hear you".

Leah continued, "What is wrong? You just got to work and you are already spaced out, are you still thinking of that guy from the club?", She asked with a smile on her face.

Amelia in defense trying to dismiss her feelings replied, " no, no I've forgotten all about it, it's not like it meant anything, it just happened". She said bringing out her apron and tying it on her body to resume serving customers.

"I think he likes you", Leah said with a smile on her face, "Who?!" Amelia asked with a surprise on her face. "Him!!" , Leah said stylishly pointing her fingers to someone across the room.
