Pool

"Oh, The master's mother." Alyce replied after getting what one of the women said.

"Actually, the Madam is really worried about the master, so she always asked us about his everyday moves. But the master is a cold person, so he doesn't really like to see things that way." One of the women said.

"Oh, so..? the master and his mother are not in good terms?"

Alyce asked skeptically.

"I don't know if you can say that, but it's more of the master being cold towards the madam." The other one answered.

Alyce nodded jarringly at the reply.

"So now that the master has brought someone he trusts, I think the madam will be very happy about this news."

"Really? That's nice then." Alyce responded.

"I didn't get your name." One of them asked her.

"Oh it's….Alyce." She responded with a smile as she mentioned the name 'Alyce'

"That's a nice one, but aren't you a little too young for this kind of job?"

"Uhmmm uhhh, no not at all. It's just a maid's job." Alyce fumbled a little with her response.

"I see, then you should get back to work, we won't bother you. We will go get busy, see you later."

With that, they stood and waved at her before going to their different points of work.

"Ah, wait."

Alyce instantly ran to meet up with them. "The fridge is empty and there is nothing much left to prepare for dinner, can I go get some ingredients?" She told them.

"No worries, we will go get somethings in the market. You stay." They both left, leaving Alyce.

She was back to being alone in the villa. With a shrug she proceeded to go back into her room. After all, she was not quite busy, all her chores were done and she had a free time now, If only she could spend it on something. With a huff, she decided to watch a tv.

After some times she was starting to get bored, she had watched up to three dramas and she she didn't know what else to do to kill time.

Alyce rolled off her bed and switched the tv off. She decided to just walk about for a bit and get her bones strengthened, not to forget, she is just a newly discharged patient.

The premises was wide and large, leaving a space in front of the villla, enough for another one to be built on.

The green and tall trees planted around and the perfectly trimmed grasses produced a sense of nature. The cool breeze slapping her skin brought a nice feeling sinking through her body. She readily closed her eyes and allowed herself to be swallowed by this song of the wind.

This was the first time that she had got the time to appreciate such comfort and feelings, being cooped up even just for a day felt kind of…

Alyce decided to roam around the vicinity, but she made sure to not cross the gate or leave the residence.

Time passed and she was extremely exhausted by the escapade she had just displayed.

She slowly made her way into the Vila, breathing seamlessly. From the change of the weather, she could tell that time had gone so far already. And by checking, she was right. It was already five thirty in the evening and the two middle aged maids have not returned. Alyce sighed tiredly and continued her steps to her bedroom when a mischievous thought crossed her mind.

She halted. Her gaze flew to the staircase continuing up above. Already, she had dressed his room, but with a silly smile she abandoned her mission to her room and immediately went to execute another one, which was obviously irrelevant.

'The are many places, I haven't been to in the third floor. I might as well go check them out now.' The mischievous voice spoke up in her head, Hypnotizing her to this temptation.

She giggled at her thoughts. With a hurry worth expectance, Alyce gushed up the flight of stairs, arriving the third floor of the Villa in no time.

Boredom can really make people do things, even if there are risky things.

Alyce roamed from one room to another, not minding if she was allowed to do this or not, she just wanted to feed her insatiable curiosity about more details which she was sure, won't hurt.

And as she stubbornly continued to move forward, she came across many rooms which consists of activities equipment in them.

She got into a gym room, fascinated by all the equipments. "No wonder, Mr Alexander was able to maintain his statue. Wow!" She touched every single thing that drew her attention. Basically, she touched everything, because her attention was being attracted like a magnet, on anything it sets it's gaze on.

She moved further into a tennis court, a basket ball court and so many others. "Wow! Does Mr Alexander have so much hobbies?" She couldn't help but stare in awe at everything.

Until finally, she came across a separate room, shifted to the other corner of the lobby.

She pushed the knob, but it didn't budge. She noticed it was locked but the key was hanging just at the tip of the keyhole.

Alyce inserted it properly and twisted the key open. Pushing the knob one more time, she was excited as she succeeded this time. With a giggle she wasted no time and quickly invaded the room.

"Oh my God." Her lips parted as her eyes twinkled from whatever stood in front of her. With hurried steps she rushed closer and gazed from up there.

It was a massive swimming pool, with two different light colors of blue and green, drawing a demacation line between them.

Alice could not believe what she was seeing. "This is…beautiful." She couldn't hold in her inner thoughts and expressed them as she stared, eyes fixed at the pool.

She got a certain urge to jump in, fortunately she was in her senses and refused such ideas. She didn't know if generally she really loved swimming, but her memories were blank.

It was almost late, and maybe anytime now, the other maids will be back, she didn't want them to look for her and end up breaking their rules. Because surely this place must be of restriction to them.

The lingering urge kept bugging her the more she looked at the serene pool.

Immediately whipping her head away, Alyce made up her mind to be obedient atleast just for today. She wanted walking out but it was as though the serenity of the pool was calling her.

"Urgggh! Just once." With a resisting expression she turned around, back to the pool.

"No, no, no. I can't, I can't, I can't." With her face scrunched up, she was about to leave but again she paused.

"Just one look, it won't hurt." She walked closer to pool situated right Infront of her. Alyce tried to see through the blurriness of the water but it didn't work enough for her. But from what she could see, the inside was insanely beautiful.

"I will really like to dive in here one…. Arghhh!!" A piercing scream left her as she fell unexpectedly into the pool, wagging and swinging her arms trying to get some help.

But too bad the was no one at home, she didn't know that she was no expert in swimming as to what she protrayed herself in her mind.

She kept on wallowing and struggling to find just an ounce of oxygen. But she could feel herself drowning and loosing breath slowly.
