Towards A Higher Level [Part 10]
Joe Walker, Alice, and Maria successfully continued their journey safely. After traveling for a few minutes, they finally managed to exit the tower.
"Finally, we can get out of this tower!" Maria exclaimed.
"Maria, are you feeling better now?" Joe Walker asked, still concerned.
"My body is much better now! I can even destroy walls with my bare hands!"
"No, that's going too far..."
"Hehe," Maria smiled broadly.
Joe Walker was relieved that Maria was back to her usual self.
However, on the other hand, he still had other issues to deal with.
Ray looked towards Alice, who was driving. He was puzzled about what to do next. After Alice slapped him, she remained silent.
What is Alice thinking right now? I don't know...
It seems like she's angry with me, right?
I can only stay silent and accept her anger. She has the right to be angry. She must be upset because I drove Tony with my imperfect driving skills.
She has every right to be angry because if I had failed back then, Tony would have fallen with me from thousands of meters high and shattered into pieces upon reaching the ground.
Meanwhile, Maria was playing with a strange, round creature she named Jimmy.
Shortly after, they decided to camp halfway to their unknown destination.
They had dinner together before going to sleep to continue their journey the next day.
Unfortunately, they couldn't find a sheltered place to camp, forcing them to sleep outside.
However, unlike before, the night wind was not too cold and torturous for them, especially with blankets they could use.
Joe Walker also received a blanket from Maria.
"Hey Joe, are you sure you don't want to sleep in the vehicle together?"
"No, thank you for the offer, but I'll stay outside. These rocks are enough for me to sleep against," Joe Walker replied to Maria's offer.
"Okay then," Maria got back into her blanket and fell asleep.
While Joe Walker couldn't sleep yet. It was because he remembered the near-death experience he had that afternoon.
Will we continue this dangerous journey? How long will we keep doing this?
Oh, I remember! I'm an 'outer god,' right? A being not bound by space and time. I should be able to go back in time and change the future, right?
But how do I do it? Oh yes, I remember! Sebastian! I have to meet Sebastian! He should know how I can go back in time.
So, I have to sleep now and meet him in the dream world. Sebastian! Come to my dream world!
Joe Walker began to close his eyes and hoped to fall asleep soon.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Alice was still awake, observing Joe Walker's face for a moment. She seemed like she wanted to say something but held back and went back to sleep.
Joe Walker has successfully fallen asleep and entered his dream world.
"Wow, I wonder if all humans can control their dreams like me?" Joe Walker looked amazed as he created some strange and absurd things in his dream.
"Not everyone can, they have to do some special things to be able to do it. But unlike us, who are beings not bound by space and time from the beginning. For them, dreams are just dreams, but for us, dreams are places we play in to avoid boredom," Sebastian said, appearing before Joe Walker.
"Wow!" Joe Walker was surprised by Sebastian's sudden appearance, "You startled me... Wait... You're Sebastian, right?" Joe Walker was a little surprised because the mask Sebastian was wearing right now different from usual.
"Yeah, i'm Sebastian."
"What's happened to your mask? Why are you wearing a duck mask now?"
"You yourself said that the monkey mask was weird. So, I chose this one."
"A duck mask is even more ridiculous! You have bad taste."
"Then, what kind of mask do you think is good?"
"Hmm," Joe Walker thought for a moment and said, "Just don't wear a mask. Show me your face."
"I refuse."

"I don't know how to appear. Besides, I don't even know if I'm a man or a woman. It feels strange for me to have a human face."

"Compared to the other 2 'outer gods,' your ability is the most difficult to use."
"Ability?"

"What's so difficult about it? I've done it once, right? Right now, I'm even on the planet uterus and traveling with Maria and Alice."
