Chapter 16 : Naiwhite

Ajin drove to his apartment. His head was throbbing with pain. He couldn't bear the pain he got out of the car in the parking lot and screamed his brain out.

When he calmed down he realized that his face was hot with tears. He took the elevator to his floor and before he could even get to his room. He collapsed.....

He woke up on his bed somehow !! He wasn't able to process the things ??! how did he reach his room, who helped him out? and many more questions wobbling in his brain.

When he turned towards his right he saw WHITE who was busy asleep on the stool near to his bed, with her head on his bed.

He tried to sit up straight silently but his effort woke WHITE up in panic as she was concerned about him. "Oh Ajin, you're awake!, when did I fall asleep, I'm such a useless friend, What time is it? Oh, it's 2 in the morning. are you still in pain? Where does it hurt?" she ranted while keeping her hand on AJIN'S forehead.

"WHITE what are you doing here?" he exclaimed.

"Well GORYA called me and told me that FA called her and that you were acting a bit weird."

"huh? What, wait can you detail it more!!"

"So I was at home when Gorya called me, it was almost 11:00 pm, and she told me to visit you cause she couldn't because of her ankle. She said that you were on a date with this girl called FA and you started acting a bit weird and left the place."

"Then I called you several times but you didn't pick up, so I panicked and rushed here, your front door was already open and you were lying unconscious on the ground."

"I didn't know what to do so I called NAI. He's currently sleeping on the couch by the way. He helped me pick you up and called the doctor. The doctor left you some medicines and told you to take rest." Ajin couldn't help but stare at her dumbstruck.

"I'm sorry, I caused you so much of trouble you must be tired, AHH" Ajin said while trying to get up properly but his head started paining again.

"Are you out of your mind? Lay back down you'll cause yourself more trouble" she said while tucking him on his bed again.

"Wait here lay back down properly, I'm coming in a minute "She left the room and returned with a glass of water. "here, have these medicines" Ajin took them with no arguments. "these will help you sleep," White said "Do you need anything else? anything to eat? I am 99.99% sure that you didn't have any sort of dinner last night "

I'll cook something for you ." she said worriedly and started to get up.

Ajin held her hand and told her to stop, she looked close to tears "I'm fine WHITE, i took my medication and I'm already feeling better" A tear fell down her face.

"You asshole, don't ever faint like this again, do you even know how much worried I was."She said in pain concerned about him.

Ajin just gave her a sad smile feeling very guilty himself.

White stayed by his side till he fell asleep even after having many arguments.

That AJIN claimed he was fine which he wasn't!

She made sure that he was asleep, she took a sleeping bag from the cupboard and headed towards the living room. Ajin's flat only had one bedroom so Nai and white had no option but to sleep in his study area where a couch was available.

It was almost 3 AM. She entered the room and saw NAI sitting on the couch. "Can't sleep?" she asked settling down beside him.

"Nah, is AJIN alright," he asked.

Tears started accumulating in white's eyes, "Yeah, he's alright, but... I don't think, he ever did something like this before." She said in a wet tone.

" It's alright," NAI said while wiping her tears.

"No, NAI you don't understand, he could have stayed like this till morning and I wouldn't even notice, I'm so useless." she was properly sobbing now.

NAI proceeded to hug her and chanted comforting words to her. "You're not useless white and it wasn't your fault at all, stop blaming yourself ."

After some time they broke apart while White hiccoughed. Their faces were very close and NAI was holding WHITE 'S face with both of his hands squeezing her checks.

He wiped her tears with his slender thumbs. They held eye contact for a moment. It was as if a roller coaster ride in her stomach. Her brain wasn't processing anything so she let her heart win.

She leaned forward and pecked a kiss on NAI'S perfect perfect lips. She backed up immediately, unsure of what to do. NAI stared at her, his eyes wide open. "White...." he said.

Panic started rising in her stomach "I'm sorry-" and before she could finish, NAI leaned forward and kissed her fully on the lips. White opened her mouth and NAI didn't miss the opportunity and let his tongue move inside her mouth smoothing the process.

WHITE felt as though she was gonna blast from the amount of happiness inside her.

They kissed till they were out of breath and had to break apart for the sake of breath. They broke apart, NAI still held WHITE 'S head. Both of them were breathing heavily looking into each other's eyes.

NAI giggled while looking down. "we should go to sleep." He said, looking at white, smiling.

WHITE also chuckled nervously not looking at NAI in his eye "Yea, I-I- bought the blankets and a sleeping bag."

"You sleep on the couch, I will settle on the floor with the sleeping bag." He indicated WHITE didn't agree. She was not in the condition to argue as she was a red mess in the face.

They settled in their respective places. NAI turned to look at WHITE. "can I hold your hand?" he asked.

WHITE wasted no time to throw her hand down the couch, they crossed their fingers. NAI smiled, "You know, I like you, like a lot. I don't think you would have noticed me but we were in the same high school."

WHITE's eyebrows came together. "How come I never noticed you?"

NAI chuckled, "Well, I didn't look like how I look now, in high school, I was kinda fat... Once I saw you punching a guy 'cause he called Ajin something weird."

WHITE blushed at the memory. A boy called RAY did indeed call AJIN with weird names cause he was having a problem with his visions. WHITE couldn't stand that slut calling AJIN that, so she punched square in the face. MJ took care of him after school.

"So, that's why I visited your cafe daily when I was in university."

"NAI, I liked you ever since the day you stepped inside my cafe." WHITE gathered her courage to say these words.

"We have wasted so much time, I like you so much... Wanna be my girlfriend?" NAI said extremely nervous.

WHITE held his hand more tightly and was exploding with happiness. She was impressed by herself that she wasn't jumping around the room right now.

"Umm." She said, blushing too much

"Umm, what?" NAI asked sitting up straight and facing her, looking at her with his big doe eyes.

WHITE teased him and said to come close and she kissed him. The kiss was intense. NAI sucks on WHITE's tongue and her hand around NAI's neck. NAI pulled her by her waist and she was on NAI'S the kiss was so intense and WHITE by mistake bit His lips a bit too much that they started bleeding. The taste of iron from Nai's blood sent shivers down WHITE'S spine.

They broke apart finally. NAI looked down at WHITE in his arms, red in the face and swollen lips, her eyes twinkling.

NAI cleaned his lips and WHITE noticed and cleaned his lips by the sleeve of her t-shirt.

"Was I too rough?" she asked.

"No! You- were—good" he blushed.

WHITE chuckled and both of them slept on the floor side by side holding each other's hand, cuddling.

Ajin woke up, it was almost 9 am. He got out of bed in search of WHITE. When he opened the door of his study area the view in front of him was fascinating. Maybe his head has started creating scenarios but this one was too real.

Both NAI and WHITE cuddled up on the floor, sleeping. They started dating and WHITE didn't even tell him!?!

He was feeling properly betrayed, so he took a quick pic of them sleeping to tease them later. In an attempt to wake them up, he cleared his throat but neither of them moved a muscle. He cleared his throat again, louder this time.

WHITE attempted to turn off an imaginary alarm beside her but then her hand hit the floor which woke her up.

She got up, looked at Ajin, then looked at NAI (asleep), then again at Ajin with pleading eyes, her face red. AJIN raised a questioning eyebrow at her while crossing his arms.

She gave him a weak smile and decided it was better to deal with this with NAI. She attempted to wake him by shaking his shoulder.

He woke up and didn't know AJIN was there, he smiled at WHITE with sleepy eyes and kissed her. AJIN's eyes widened. WHITE chuckled nervously towards NAI and turned her head towards Ajin's.

NAI's eyes widened. Well, this is awkward. " AJIN! How- how are you?" NAI started.

"Try better." AJIN deadpans.

"Umm, well, you see WHITE and I are...."

"were... dating"

"Since when?"

"Last night"

"Wow, So my misery bought you happiness, that's great."

WHITE started to get up. "No, AJIN there's nothing like that, How are you feeling?" she kept her hand on his feeling.

"your temperature is normal now but you should still take your medicines after breakfast."

NAI got up too. "No one of us is in the condition to make breakfast so I'll just go and get it."

"Yes please." WHITE smiled.

He grabbed his keys and kissed WHITE on the cheek on the way to the door.

Behind them, AJIN made a disgusted face! "This is gonna take so much time to become normal."

WHITE punched him on his arm playfully. Both of them sat down while WHITE went into the details of their last night's incident. AJIN made a disgusting face whenever she went too intense.

NAI returned with more than enough breakfast. AJIN noticed the red mark on Nai's bottom lip.

"Did she do that, eww, you guys, I'm gonna puke." Both WHITE and NAI turned bright red.

They had breakfast while sharing the irony of how the 3 of them and MJ went to the same high school.

AJIN thanked them and bid them goodbye as both of them were going to be late for work and he had to go to ANAY'S penthouse to return TUL's clothes and then go to GORYA'S to explain about ANYA/TUL'S situation.

Maybe GORYA could not do magic or had any powers. AJIN still shared every detail of his mission cause to him she is a co-worker.

He got ready and headed to the penthouse. There he rang the bell and a servant came to open the door.

He was said to wait in the living room. ANYA came to him and was surprised and nervous. About his sudden appearance.

"AJIN! How come you here?" ANYA asked nervously.

"I'm just here to thank and return TUL'S clothes, is he here?" he asked.

"He is umm... he is not... he is not feeling well today, so I don't think you will be able to meet him." Which AJIN immediately understood was a lie.

"Is he okay?" he questioned curiously.

"He is fine, just a fever" ANYA tried to sound casual, but her nervousness was glued to her tongue.

"Well, here are his clothes, and tell him I said Thank you." He gave her the clothes.

"AJIN, I will take the day off to look after him, so you can rest yourself and please tell the director I won't be available today."

"Okay, no problem." He kissed her cheek out of the boyfriend's responsibility and left.

He called the director and informed him and headed for GORYA'S cafe
