THE CAPITAL

'That's a relief' sighed Dave as he relaxed. But as soon as he did that, he felt a tense amount of sourness and exhaustion envelope his entire being.

Right when he was about to faint from that feeling, Lucas suddenly appeared behind him and touched his back. What comes next was Dave suddenly feeling a huge vitality entering his body to strengthen him.

"Mr.Lucas, do you know how this beast suddenly appeared here?" asked Mr. Tang with a tinge of respect on his face. Although everyone in that environment was clueless about Mr. Lucas Rank, Mr. Tang knew that he was at the peak phase of Rank B.

"Well, an unprepared invasion happened in the border barracks not too far from here. So some beast breach the barracks and got it, but everything has been settled now"

"Thank the heavens" sighed Mr. Tang after hearing the update from Mr. Lucas.

"Thank you, sir," said Dave with a slight bow after recovering back to his peak with the help of Mr. Lucas.

"No need for the thanks. You earned it, now let's do the rest" said Mr. Lucas as he turned to heal the remaining survivors.

After bringing everyone back to their peak, Mr. Lucas suddenly spoke with an awkward smile.

"Now that everyone is in perfect shape, how are going to do with the clothes?"

Everyone there except Viona has torn and ragged clothes all over their bodies. Although Viona's clothes were still intact because of her long-distance spells, they were a bit dirty from the shockwaves of various spells raising sand and dust.

"There isn't any with that Mr. Lucas. I have spare clothes with were given to me by their principal" said Mr. Tang as he waved his right hand over the students.

That gesture made a change on the four students as a blinding light covered their entire being. After some seconds, the light suddenly vanished revealing four students wearing neat and composed uniforms.

'How did he do that?' thought Dave as he inspected his body with a shocked expression. Although the remaining soldiers had green eyes when they glanced at the four students, they immediately suppressed them while standing up straight in a soldierly manner.

"Now that everything has been fixed, let's all continue our journey," said Mr. Lucas as he casually lifted the armored car back to its normal position.

After being rendered speechless by what Mr. Lucas did, everyone silently entered the vehicle as they resumed their journey. But as soon as they left that area, a shadow-like creature suddenly popped out of the ground as it looked at an area where the armored vehicle left from.

Suddenly, its condensed face cracked to reveal a mouth that was smiling. After that, his mouth moved as a deep and crackling voice came out of it.

"I have finally found you"

After driving for a few more hours on the lonely road connecting the Stax and Palpart continent, they finally saw a dome which shockingly its end wasn't visible to the people in the vehicle.

"We have arrived" suddenly spoke Mr. Lucas as he had a warm smile on his face.

'So this is the capital' thought Dave with a resolute expression. When they saw the entrance into the dome, the four students wore stunned expressions.

There wasn't any sign of an entrance there. But what made them believe that it was the entrance was that they saw a group of four guards standing in that area with a stern expression, they wore golden battle suits and held a ranked pistol. Not only that, all those guards were apparently in the middle tier of Rank C!

'Majestic' thought Dave as the armored vehicle approached the guards. one of the guards walked closer to the driver seat as he began to question.

When one of the guards saw the incoming vehicle, it suddenly announced.

"Open the gates, one of the recruits has arrived"

Suddenly, a sound of metal clanging could be heard from inside the dome. After some time, a gigantic door suddenly appeared on the dome as It began to open by going up.

After the vehicle got into the dome, the door quickly dropped back to the floor and mystically disappeared. But unfortunately, the four students failed to notice that strange disappearance as they were fascinated by what they saw inside.

Tall buildings could be found in every corner of the capital along with people actually flying in the sky!

"Am I dreaming right now?" suddenly asked Viona with a dazed expression. but Jonah's reply suddenly wants her to puke blood.

"I don't think so, that's because I am still alive"

After some minutes of driving and sightseeing, they reached another entrance inside the dome. When they got in, they found themselves inside what seemed like a training and research center.

"Where are we right now?" asked Dave with a curious expression. After making the students be in suspense for a few moments, he spoke

"We in the Demon Hunters HQ"
