Amethyst Winged Lion has been on guard in the last few days.

The 6-rank magical beast actively guarded the area of his den, watching over if those shameless humans dared to steal his treasure again. He looked back at his home and checked a purple crystal above thick dry grass.

"Hmm, rain is forming in the sky?"

"The weather was just fine a moment ago."

A formation of black clouds gathered above the Amethyst Winged Lion's den, swirling in the sky ominously. It was a weird phenomenon, but not too far from reality because this world is changing quickly.

"Is there a heaven and earth treasure growing under my nest? No, that can't be. I didn't sense anything miraculous in my whole life."

Amethyst Winged Lion yawned and suddenly sensed an abrupt change in the wind in the area. He raised from the ground and walked out of the den, seeing a familiar female human.

She silently stood while wielding her sword, seemingly waiting for him to come out.

"Grrr... Human."

Yun Yun stared at the Amethyst Winged Lion calmly and replied, "I'm here to retrieve the purple crystal essence. I do not wish to fight you, but you won't agree no matter what."

Amethyst Winged Lion frowned and spat indifferently, "Hateful female human. How dare you ask for my treasure."

"I couldn't take your life last time, but now... I'd kill you quickly."

Yun Yun lifted her sword and commented, "You used dirty tricks against me last time. You can't use it twice."

Rain is pouring from the sky, and the Amethyst Winged Lion weakened slightly, the 6-rank magical beast still on the same level as Yun Yun. Only purple flame becomes arguably a little worse than usual.

At the top of the den, "strangely." shaped like a crooked pyramid, Lan Rou nodded her eyes and started to create a big enough hole for her to enter and run.

Excluding Yun Yun, Lan Rou's speed is more stable than Baek Ain's.

While Baek Ain won with explosive jumps, Lan Rou's mastery of the silent shadow steps is so high that Amethyst Winged Lion shouldn't be able to sense nor hear her.

Lan Rou also consumed the extreme fire resistance pill Baek Ain made for this scenario in case they got dragged into the fight with the Amethyst Winged Lion.

Yun Yun fought the Amethyst Winged Lion and showed her dominance over the wind element. Her energy wings enlarged and became butterfly-like upon excessive release of Dou Qi.

'This is her strongest form, I assume.' Baek Ain thought while lifting his other hand. 'I can catch up to her realm with my pace, but the Mystic Cloud Sect is still suspicious.'

Seeing Baek Ain raising his hand for the second time, Nalan Yanran started to move according to the plan. She looked at the leather pouch handed by Baek Ain and sneakily moved around the Amethyst Winged Lion's den.

She tossed some pills, which released odorless and colorless poison harmful to being with fire-attribute. Baek Ain won't be affected because of poison immunity and pure yang physique.

He also ingested an antidote to be safe.

The rain becomes more intense as time goes on.

Baek Ain and others are patient when dealing with the Amethyst Winged Lion, letting Yun Yun show her full power.

This woman seemed to be the incarnation of the Wind Goddess, dancing around the battlefield with her slender green sword. Each slash would cause a shockwave when clashing with the Amethyst Winged Lion, destroying the ground into a mess.

Five minutes later, Yun Yun immediately noticed the Amethyst Winged Lion's movement became slower. She took her chance and landed a decisive strike on the 6-rank magical beast's wing.

"Shameful Human!" A painful scream escaped the Amethyst Winged Lion's mouth.

The scar on the wing allowed the poison gas to seep more into the 6-rank magical beast's body.

Unfortunately, Amethyst Winged Lion didn't realize this because the poison also dulled his sense.

Lan Rou finally could enter the den from the top and grabbed a sturdy-looking chisel, breaking the purple crystal essence. It took her roughly two minutes.

However, as if an alarm was triggered, a surge of purple flame suddenly erupted under the dry grass.

Lan Rou's gray eyes widened as she hurriedly stored the crystal in her spatial ring, fleeing from the den.

"ROAR!" Amethyst Winged Lion alarmed and ignored Yun Yun, returning to his den as quickly as possible. His eyes turned red because someone was brave enough to steal his treasure while he was fighting.

"I won't let you go..." Yun Yun flatly said, creating a storm barrage. She swung her sword down and sent the sharp revolving winds at Amethyst Winged Lion.

BOOM!

Amethyst Winged Lion received injuries on his right back leg and limped to reach the den, finding the purple crystal essence had gone from its original spot.

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRR!!

"WHOOOOOOO?!!"

Lan Rou didn't even bother to look behind and ran as fast as she could to Baek Ain. The cave operated by the Amethyst Winged Lion as his den exploded into rubble, exposing the "extremely." furious 6-rank magical beast.

SWOOSH! BOOOOOOOOMM!!

Lan Rou reached Baek Ain's side safely and hid beside him.

"Done." She confidently reported.

Baek Ain smiled and returned, "We are almost there. This operation is close to its climax."

As the Amethyst Winged Lion went on a rampage, Yun Yun prepared a finishing move and infused her Dou Qi into the sword. She gave the 6-rank magical beast a last look and swayed her sword down.

"Extreme Wind Fallen Massacre..."

Yun Yun's calm voice echoed throughout the magical beast mountain as extreme wind pressure descended from the sky. Fallen stars seemed to drop, creating several straight lines.

BOOOOOOOM!!

Roar!

The mountain shook violently, and Amethyst Winged Lion roared before falling miserably.

"M-My child..." Amethyst Winged Lion closed his eyes.

Yun Yun landed on the ground and huffed because that last attack consumed a decent amount of her Dou Qi. She shuddered instinctively and turned around as fast as possible.

"MY CHILD!!"

ROAR!

"Assisted Parry." Baek Ain instantly appeared before the half-dead Amethyst Winged Lion and parried the claw with his tanto.

CLANK! BAM!

The claw warded off, and Baek Ain kicked a sharp-looking spear with his leg.

[Super Jump 10x]

The spear combusted with brown flame and pierced through the weakened 6-rank magical beast's head.

[Ding! You have killed a 6-rank magical beast]

Cough!

Baek Ain spat blood from his mouth and mumbled, "Even with assisted parrying, I couldn't ward off the damage completely..."

Assisted Parry is why Parry(B+) has a cooldown, allowing Baek Ain to ward off an attack properly. Of course, he could do it manually, but the outcome is not good.

He is still perfecting this skill, after all.

"Are you okay?" Yun Yun asked worriedly.

Baek Ain waved his hand to dismiss her worry and responded, "Just a scratch. We have another problem."

"How do we split this treasure?"
