Season 1; In The City Of Carleval Harbour Where They'll Go To Xuspos.

"Since we'll have to stay in the City Harbour for a day, we might as well venture around the city, am I right?" Eugene suggested.

Chas only examined Lawrence's face.

They were in the city harbour of State Stoiy Fields after two weeks worth of travel. Only stopping an hour or two. And now, they were finally free of any enclosing trees and hindrances like demons.

Despite their lack of sleep and rest, Eugene still wanted to explore the city he's never been in before. And with just a single word from Lawrence, he'd be allowed to do so.

"Don't overexert yourself and come back before twilight. That goes for the rest of you if you want to explore the vicinity."

"Yes!" Eugene hurriedly set aside his weapons and only brought with him his pouch of money and dagger, then continued to leave the lounge area of the current Inn they're in.

Nemo Wharf Inn was the closest Inn near the coast of the elongated river-like ocean that they needed to cross with a ship to reach the next state before their final destination.

Entering within the city was no problem because Chas brought an Imperial Crest granted by the Emperor. And despite the Lord Mayor offering Prince Lawrence the most luxurious place to stay in for the day, Lawrence declined. Saying that they needed to be close to the harbour to leave as early as they can.

So the only thing the Lord Mayor of Carleval City Harbour could offer was their private ship transportation for the Prince and his acquaintances. Which Lawrence wasn't able to refuse due to the Lord Mayor's anxious hospitality.

They only needed to stay one night before the next ships would be ready to move. At dawn, they would begin to sail.

Knight Virgil and Knight Houston did not need to worry about protecting the Prince after seeing how he dealt with numerous waves of different demons. So the two joined Eugene to explore the vast city.

And others went to resupply their needs after exploring the vicinity.

Lawrence and Chas didn't bother to come along with them and preferred to stay in the Inn to read books they had in hand.

Since reading in the carriage as they travel on rocky roads, Lawrence didn't have many chances to read pleasantly. Taking advantage of their current situation, he stayed behind to continue where he had left off on the other books he brought.

Before they knew it, dawn was already approaching. And after a full tour of the city and having the rest they hadn't gotten for a few days, they woke as early as five in the morning.

And just like what the Lord Mayor promised, their ship was being prepared to cross the sea and into the next state.

The sailors and captain showed their hospitality towards the Prince and Chas as they explained how long it would take for them to reach the end of the sea.

They were set to start their departure. And by the end of the day, they were on the land of Xuspos. The least populated amongst the Principality's district. And a state with unclaimed territories but filled with different monsters.

Chas wanted this place to be the training state for Lawrence to learn martial arts but deemed it too easy for a "supposedly" prodigy like him. So instead, Chas chose the mountains of Ropruece.

The state Ropruece was part of the Kingdom, but despite being part, the mountains weren't claimed by anyone since it was too steep and dangerous. Filled with magical beasts(honed beasts).

They could have used the sea to travel immediately on the state of Ropruece, but that wasn't the plan. Chas wanted to test the limits of Lawrence, and the great place to do so was Xuspos.

Although Xuspos, in terms of great dangers, is inferior to the threats of Ropruece, the Xuspos is still superior in terms of monster quantity. That is to say, if there were ten high trolls on Ropruece, there would be forty advanced trolls on Xuspos.

The only difference is, when battling against monsters in Xuspos, an individual has to possess a great deal of endurance. But in Ropruece, strength and skill.

There were many things that Lawrence needed to undertake in Xuspos, so Chas decided before departing in the harbour to stay in Xuspos for at least a month or two before advancing to Ropruece. Where Lawrence will improve his vigour, endurance, speed, and recovery.

To increase his vigour, he'll be receiving pain from Chas and monsters. For his endurance, he'll be meditating beneath a mini waterfall. In speed, he'll train every morning running circles in the forest. And for his recovery, he'll be taking pills and cultivating them via meditation during his endurance exercise.
