The knights were taken aback by what Lawrence said. Gavin opposed the idea and spoke, "But your highness, we wouldn't dare. You are royalty. No. You are an Imperiality. We are only humble people with lowly titles. So we wouldn't dare be informal towards his highness." he remarked.
Lawrence smiled bitterly, "I checked on one of the books I requested from Kanon and found pathetic information. That apparently, I am a lowly Prince."
The others gasped. Their reactions made Lawrence smirk. "That would only mean one thing. Would anyone care if my servants talked informally towards me? And would they even dare to lecture them when even I is fine by it?"
"Where would you get the idea of being a Lowly Prince, your highness!" Jane sounded sad. Her eyes were moist.
"To be considered as a Prince, one must-have pieces, essential pieces in their life. First is having a mother who would support her child by creating a social status and finding alliances willing to assist the Prince. Second, having the affection and support of his father. Then third, showing competency of independence as well as achieving something honorable. And fourth, finally having a stable social status as well as wealth.
"So I ask you, what do I have among those four?" he portrayed a smile, but an ungenuine one. His question was left unanswered as the knights sat still, speechless. They were unable to protest because of the truth he spoke. But they felt the need to say something so in sync, they vocalized.
"I'm sorry, your highness."
Jane added into her apology, "But that doesn't change the fact that we, your newly knights, will allow our highness to be lowly. You are a genius, your highness. It is society's injustice if they label you as inferior to other royalty. You are still a child, for Pete's sake.
"You are not only the offspring of a grand Imperial Bloodline but also a noble Kingsley blood. Please, your highness, don't disdain yourself nor be affected by rumors. We, Prince's new servants, will show our utmost loyalty as you grow to become a magnificent individual who will be one of the most exceptional contributors to the Kingdom Laplace & Sage."
Lawrence blinked. Everyone's eyes that landed upon him seemed more than sincere. Then he smiled a delightful smile.
"Thank you," he spoke, chuckling.
Jane pouted, "We're serious, your highness!" she moved her head to the others, asking for confirmation, and Koa, Helix, and Gavin nodded as a response.
"Yes." he paused. "I know," he added. "I only asked you guys to call me Lawrence. How did the topic stray so far." Lawrence tries to ease the atmosphere. "Then, if we aren't in public, where there are numerous nobles, you can call me Lawrence. Okay?" Lawrence.
Everyone nodded in agreement. Gavin already finished sculpting the wooden sword to make it suitable for Lawrence. "Here you go, Lawrence."
Lawrence took the wooden sword, "Thank you, Gavin." he smiled. "Then shall I train with you guys?"
The others smiled. They stood and smirked at each other. "It might be hard for you, Lawrence. You think you can handle it?" Helix challenged.
Lawrence snorted playfully, "Bring it on!"

| A/N(Author's Note): I watched hyper toddler videos of my family and heard my boy niece say, "Bring it on!" and it sounded very soft and cute! I imagined Lawrence saying it with a baby tone too.

Lawrence lifted his sword high. He was impressed with how it was sculptured perfectly by Gavin. It was even better than before and more accurate to a sword. It had a designed grip, a pommel at the end, a cross-guard, rain-guard, and blade. He held tight onto the grip and performed a stance for a swing from up-high to down.
His right foot was upfront, while his left remained still. His hand leveled the tip of his chin. Meanwhile, his sword pointed up high. Then he moved his arms upward then swung them down. He eased, stood straight, and scanned the wooden sword's grip.
Jane looked at the three men and gave a surprised look that screamed, "Wasn't that a perfect swing?" and received a nod from Gavin and the two others.
Lawrence once again performed the same stance, then did five swings. He stopped at the fifth to look at the others. He grinned, "What do you think? You think I'm like Gavin?" he laughed.
Gavin blushed at the remark and looked away, embarrassed. The others laughed.
Gavin coughed, "It was almost perfect, Lawrence. Your posture seems stiff. Like you are uncomfortable with your body."
"Well, anyone would while doing this in their night garments, wouldn't they?" Lawrence joked.
Gavin and the two guys nodded as a dimwit, and Jane laughed at Lawrence's joke.
"The sword feels perfect. The grip is flawless for my palm. But, that to say. Although my body is a body of a four-year-old, it is still undeveloped. I don't think swinging a sword is perfect at my age."
"You're right, Lawrence. As I said, you would be overstraining yourself. Even if you have a far more developed body than many other one-year-olds, you are still a one-year-old boy. There is no difference." Gavin agreed.
Lawrence frowned. He looked at Gavin and asked, "What do you think I should be doing?"
Gavin smirked, "Wise choice, Lawrence. Indeed you are talented with the sword- ahem. But doing swings at your age won't do you any good. Perhaps build your stamina first by doing some minimal work like chores or jogs." he advised.
"You can also meditate, Lawrence. Excercise your soul to strengthen your Mana." Jane suggested.
Lawrence abruptly stared at Jane, wide eyes. He asked, "Mana?"
Jane nodded, "Yes, Mana. Do you know what it is?"
Lawrence shook his head for an answer.
"Well, teachings say that it is a magical attribute that may help you improve your body functions and immunity. Although, I don't have much knowledge about how it works. But I do meditate."
"Improve?" Lawrence asked.
"Well, from what I learned in my academy. Meditating will strengthen your skin and tissues. Not only that, but it can help improve your Endurance, Brawn and enhance your senses." Helix answered.
"Huh...?" Lawrence mumbled to himself.
