Chapter Seven-Becoming An Official Hunter

Amelia was dropped off by the bald man. She quickly entered her home and closed the door behind her after all she didn't want to be seen wearing her bloody fur coat.

'I really hope no one saw me out there!'

Amelia took a sniff of her jacket and immediately drew back her nose. It smelled really bad and she would need to take a bath.

About half an hour passed and the silver haired girl came out of the bathroom, she wore nothing but a towel to cover herself. Her hair still a bit wet and her skin shining in the dim light of the living room. She quickly made her way towards her room and got dressed in comfortable clothing.

She lay on top of her bed exhausted by today's events. She glanced at the suitcase the bald man had given her and immediately went to open it.

Inside were the two E-Class Mana Stones, she had waited the entire day and she was finally going to absorb the Mana stones. She took one in her hand and began to extract the Mana from the Mana Stone.

Amelia's body began to emit a bright light, her hair rose and swayed in the air as the light began to swirl around her. She felt her body surge with energy, a satisfying feeling to the silver haired girl.

Amelia opened her eyes and was silent for a few seconds. She was in disbelief to what had just occured.

'Three Levels from one E-Class Mana Stone?!!'

Amelia grew a smile on her face, she was advancing at a fast rate! She could feel her Mana and Health points grow stronger with each and every level up. Amelia flayed her legs out of pure excitement! Her power was growing so fast, she couldn't even stop smiling anymore.

Amelia opened her status window and glanced at her stats.

'1000 MANA POINTS ALREADY?!?' Amelia screamed in her mind.

An F-Class would take atleast one or two weaks to gain a thousand Mana points, assuming the only things they absorb beign F-Class Mana Stones. And here she managed to do that in only one day. Her head began imagining crazy ideas but she quickly brushed off those thoughts not wanting to entertain them. Right now the plan was to become an Official Hunter in Sunrow City.

She glanced over to the last E-Class Mana stone, thoughts of absorbing the stone swarmed her mind. But in the end she decided that she will sell it for now, after all she wasn't in a rush to become powerful.

Thoughts of the her first combat experience against the Snow Rabbit began to play in her head. She almost died, the first thing she needed was protection. Armor is a Hunters basic need, nowadays armor could be bought at the Hunter

Association Centers. Although, Armor is expensive. It's usually crafted with Mana Stones making their defences pretty tough, of course each set of Armor is crafted by a different Blacksmith, so the quality really comes down to who is making them. She continued to lie in bed contemplating the strange mess that was today's events.

The rapid advancement in her levels had left her both exhilarated and anxious. Amelia reminded herself of her current priorities.She pulled out a small notebook from her bedside drawer, where she had been jotting down her plans and observations. Amelia started drafting a list:

Find a Reliable Blacksmith: Research the best blacksmiths in Sunrow City and compare their prices and quality of armor. Sell the E-Class Mana Stone: Look for a reputable dealer or the Hunter Association where she could get a fair price for the stone. Prepare for the Hunter Registration: Make sure all documents and requirements for becoming an Official Hunter are in order.

With a sigh, she set the notebook aside and allowed herself a moment to relax. Tomorrow would be busy. The city held many opportunities, but also many dangers. She needed to be cautious and strategic. The thought of her mother waiting in the village only fueled her determination.

Amelia turned off the lights and nestled deeper into her bed, her mind racing with plans and possibilities. She knew the path ahead would be challenging, but with each step she took, she was one step closer to achieving her goals and ensuring a better future for herself, her mother and her village.

Meanwhile,the front door swung open and Diane arrived. She let out a tired sigh, today was very exhausting. There were many customers she had to attend to and it was really tiring. She slowly closed the door behind her, she didn't want want to wake up Amelia. She moved towards Amelia's room, her movements slow and subtle. She opened the door slowly as to not awake her, she looked through the slightly opened door and smiled as she saw her daughter asleep.

'Sweet dreams Amelia'

She returned downstairs and made her way towards the bathroom. She wanted to take a warm bath and relax, she had a long day at work after all. She began to fill the tub and sank her feet into the warm water. The warmth healing her fatigue, she recalled meeting the Village elder on her way back, her daughter's accomplishments filling her with pride and joy. She sunk her body into the warm water, letting the warmth run over her body and heal her tired limbs. As she relaxed Diane found herself imagining her daughter's promising future where their struggles would be behind them.

The next day soon arrived and Amelia's alarm would go off signalling a new day. Beep!-Beep!, The silver haired girl opened her eyes and sat upstraight on her bed. She quickly stood up and stretched her lazy bones. Today was the day she would head over to Sunrow City and become an Official Hunter. She quickly got dressed in a new clean fur coat and white boots and made her way downstairs.
