Chapter 51

A banquet was held in honor of the arrival of King Henrick. Finally, after long being rivals, the two Kings meet. Henrick was dressed to the nines in every way a King should while Alexander was dressed more modestly. Minori was surprisingly present and was dressed in green and extravagant jewels. Queen Rhea dressed in red, outshining Minori in every way.

“Here’s to the union of our families,” Henrick toasted.

Everyone followed suit, raising their cups.

“To Dionne and Andreas,” says Alexander, “May their union bear fruit and bring peace and prosperity to our realms.”

“Might they become even greater rulers than we once were,” added Rhea.

They all looked at Minori, waiting for her toast. Rolling her eyes, she raised her cup, saying, “Here’s to breaking the curse.”
