Purpose.

Forbidden land. On Rose Side.

After resting for a while, Rose's group decide to march out, reaching the stone dungeon after fighting some monsters on the way.

"A dungeon," said Rose, looking at the bold written letters on the wall. Mary had given them something to help in tracking Maria.

Though not completely accurate, it still gave them an outline of their path.

"So it seems they came here," said Zhu yang looking at the dungeon, Mary had told all of them involved in the expedition about Maria's betrayal.

Though she changed some facts in the story, she still gave them an overall truth of what happened *she betrayed our race by following the demons*.

A very correct story in a sense, surveying the surroundings, Rose touched the floor as if trying to sense something.

"Do you know if she's still in?" asked Zhu yang, he did not know anything about tracking stuff, so he could only depend on Rose, who was good at it.

"Not sure; the readings are hard to get," she said in a solemn tone.

"So are we going in?" he asked, acting all polite and submissive.

'Don't want to piss her off now, after all, she's my ticket to that treacherous bitch' he thought, looking at Rose intensively.

"That's our only choice, waiting here is a bad idea so let's just go in.

Then we get things done as fast as possible" she said, looking at the dungeon entrance.

'We have to find her no matter the cause' thought Rose, breathing in deeply.

"Prepare to march in, we have to raid these place as fast as possible," said Rose to her subordinates, in an authoritative tone.

Without wasting time they all started to prepare for the dungeon expedition.

Kassan side.

In a forested region stood a huge gorilla, glaring intensively at kassan Entourage.

It seemed like kassan's group had trespassed his territory, which annoyed the monster a lot.

Hitting its chest frantically it roared toward the sky, heading toward kassan with full force.

Picking up his sword, kassan followed suit, instructing his men to stay back.

They haven't gone far in the inner region, giving him the confidence to face off the monster alone.

' I've done this before, fighting creatures in the forbidden region, but this monster though close to the outer region seems different' he thought, running simulations in his mind to bring down the creature easily.

'Guess it's special, sometimes I wonder if the forbidden region terrain changes position' he thought, with his thought processing becoming very fast.

The forbidden region had many wonder factors, with one of the well-known factors being it change of terrain.

To date no one has been able to figure out the reason behind that phenomenon, making it one of the many wonders of the forbidden land.

Channeling Mana from his core, he imbued it in his sword, aiming for the gorilla's head; not giving it the chance to react.

Using its huge arms, the gorilla stopped the sword from reaching its neck; though he wasn't able to avoid the wound inflicted on the arm, used to stop the attack.

*Roarrrr* aiming for kassan, using his other hand, the gorilla roared; using a very huge amount of force, ready to crush kassan into pieces.

To his surprise kassan dodged it easily, using his sword to cut a line through the gorilla's hand, using that momentum and opening to aim for the gorilla's neck.

*Boom* with a great amount of energy being released by the gorilla, kassan flew away toward the ground.

His mount intervention; stopped him from falling to the ground, giving him a little chance to breathe.

The trees around the vicinity got pulled up from the ground, leaving the land around the gorilla empty.

With the gorilla joining its hands something strange happened, the whole vicinity became filled with violent energy, chasing all non-sentient creatures and instilling fear in sentient creatures.

'What the hell have I messed with' thought kassan with a solemn look on his face, the creature in front of him could use qi.

With all members of kassan group eyes widening in shock, they all knew what it was.

Qi is an energy used by mainly body cultivators, it was a form of energy though not rare it had grades, from the feel around this monster they could tell that it was a high-grade qi.

"Prepare to retreat" ordered kassan. "I would hold it back for a while," he said in a righteous tone.

If any passerby should hear this; kassan would be considered a good and respectful leader, someone who has compassion for his subordinates, which he's definitely not.

'Can't let them die now, they still have roles to play in my plan to success' he thought, preparing for the inevitable fight.

With the region clearing up, there was no place to take cover again, with everything around them being a clear and plain landscape.

Both of them entered a staring contest as if they were in a cowboy fight.

"Can you speak?" asked kassan, in an attempt to negotiate with the angry monster.

For a monster on his level of power, he was expected to at least understand simple communication skills.

'How the hell does he have so much strength, stay in such a low leveled place, and not have a decent IQ level' thought kassan, trying to figure out the root of the problem.

Aiming at kassan with full powered punch, which he dodged by doing a 360 while suspended in space.

To his surprise a sudden blow landed on his stomach, sending him flying a few kilometers away.

'Fuck, how did it hit me all of a sudden' he thought, gritting his teeth in anger.

*You are doing a good job* said a voice in the monster's head, *just keep it up and I'm sure you'll evolve into a special being* continued the voice, raising the monster's morale.

*Roar* Running toward Kassan, it charged up its muscles, leaving cracks in space.

'Fuck, am done for' thought kassan, bracing himself for the attack aimed at him.

*Boom* *crack* with a resounding sound of destruction, the sound of bones breaking could be heard.

Standing with his eyes closed was Kassan, opening them gently to survey his surrounding.

*Gasp* opening his mouth open, with shock written on his face, kassan did not know how to react to what was in front of him.

Currently, in front of him was the battered-up body of the gigantic gorilla, with its hands especially swollen and broken.

"What the heck happened!" yelled kassan shifting further from the gorilla, so as not to get involved in whatever just occurred.

"Lord kassan!" came shouts from behind him, turning around he met with the eyes of his shocked subordinates.

He could relate to their shocked expressions; seeing such a mighty being lying all battered up in front of their future king was not a plausible outcome.

"What happened my lord" inquired an elderly man, moving forward to ask the question in everyone's mind.

They could not help but thank, and praise his confidence for asking kassan such a question.

'Should I tell them the truth?' thought kassan surveying the area for signs of any threat.

The monster was not dead only weak, finally making a decision, he decided to do something that will benefit him in the long term.

"Harvest the monster part; it should not be hard now that the monster is very weak," he said raising his chest.

*I would leave if I were you, I can't help you for the second time.

You have a mission to accomplish, something very important* said a feminine voice in his head.

Holding his head he bent down, immediately the voice entered his head he felt a very heavy headache.

Clenching his teeth to withstand the pain he just felt, he stood up; turning to look at his subordinate's worried expression.

"Let it be" he yelled in an agitated tone, he knew better than to mess with whatever creature had the power to save him.

If what the creature said is true; and he had a very important mission to fulfill, he would rather do that, than die here for no reason.

"We move on, treat the wounded," he said walking towards his mount, who was standing just a little further from him.

Though they had questions and objections, but as their Lord, and the person who defeated the creature in front of them.

They had to obey his orders if they desire to leave this land; with their whole being.

So dear family, how are you doing?

Hope you are doing good?

Take care.

Love ya all.
