Oneshot sixteen, frostbite

Christmas was a time of love and sharing And peace, family and friends, but for Emmy and Daveed they didn't know this Christmas could be anything but that. The guys sat around the tree watching the football game and wrapping presents and preparing other things, while the girls all were in the kitchen cooking up a storm for Christmas while sharing laughs and fun little conversation. As the Christmas music ran through the house, the dogs playing with their new toys and the time flying when suddenly out of nowhere there's a knock at the door.

Emmy: I'll get it

Emmy took off her apron and gloves and made her way over to the door as daveed looked out the window wondering who would be here at this time of night. And who he saw was the girl he'd slept with earlier that year.

Emmy POV

I opened the door thinking it was a mail man or something only to be mentioned with a woman holding a note, she gave it to me and walked off to a car. I close the door and look at the note "to the second one" It said in red letters. Daveed came rushing over as I was about to open the note.

Daveed: don't open it

Emmy: why

Daveed: trust me i know that girl i-, it's nothing too important just please don't open it

Emmy: you know daveed you begging me not to open it is only making me want to open it more

For some reason he did not want me to open this note and I just didn't understand why, so I opened it.

"Dear miss lampman or if the event has already happened miss Diggs , I'm not trying to bring down your day in any way just here to inform you of something I believe he hasn't told you'' I stop right there and look up at daveed giving him the chance to tell me what ever it is before I read it, he doesn't. I take a deep breath and start reading once again. "I what you may call a side chick Daveed has been seeing throughout the years, I'm not saying my child is his but it's possible."

My hands started to tremble as I dropped the note. I didn't know if I should be angry or sad, I just ran to our room. He followed behind me and closed the door behind us.

Daveed: emmy im sorry

Emmy: no the fuck you arent daveed

Daveed: that girl meant nothing

Emmy: But you still slept with her, and I don't even know how many times!

Daveed: yes i've been seeing her for awhile but all those times meant nothing

Emmy: then why did you just keep going back daveed, Am i not good enough?

Daveed: no it's not you if anything its me

Emmy: daveed do try using that line on me, your just like tim

Daveed: HEY! Do you ever compare me to that sutipid fuck

Emmy: why you no better, I try and try and keep you happy but this is the return i get

Daveed: she's nothing close to you i love you and only you

Emmy: that explain why you kept seeing her

Daveed: because emmy it's hard having a girlfriend who makes more than me and travels to exotic places where she might find another man and leave me, I just wanted someone to rebound with if that did happen

Emmy: daveed but you know i only love you, I would ever do that

Daveed: i knew it but i wasn't sure

Emmy: you could have just asked and I would've told you, I've had literal supermodels throw themself at me and I turned them down. Well i guess it's too late for me to say it now you might of already gotten that girl pregnant

Daveed: but we've already planned our wedding, and our plan to tell everyone tomorrow

Emmy: daveed you have 5 days after christmas to fix this or you can start packing cause you cant stay here and fuck another girl

Daveed: emmy why are you doing this

Emmy: because you cant keep your fucking thing in your pants daveed! Why the hell can't you understand that

Daveed: Because i told you she meant nothing to me

Emmy: look you can call it what you wanna,im willing to give you another chance but please set things straight and i'll think about it

I leave the room and go into the hallways only to be met with my mom peeking around the corner. When I look at her she hurries away hoping I didn't see her. I don't have a clue if they heard us or not but I do know.

Daveed pov

When she left the room I leaned over on the dresser running my hands through my hair realizing that this was all my fault, I had the best girl I'll probably ever have and I fucked it up by messing with that girl. I leave the room and go back downstairs to everyone, when i come in and sit down the room is silent and the faint sounds of the tv, nusic, and the sizeling of the food was a strong presence. When everyone realized I wasn't going to say anything they all turned around and continued wrapping and cooking and so did i.

Emmy had gone into the bathroom to be alone, the pain of knowing a second guy she was close to marrying cheated on her, She really was going to be my wife she loved once I got nothing in return. Her personality looked up and down in the mirror of Beauty. happy that was told she was the most beautiful girl in the world but she didn't feel like I don't know that available he had to cheat on her, has said that it was because he was scared she will leave him for another man everything she hadShe made sure he was happy day in and day out he seemed for pedia. She can be with a man. I'm sleeping with another woman who got another woman pregnant. Leaving the bathroom she wiped her tears and took a deep breath collecting herself.

When she entered the room everyone was looking at her including Daveed, he looked away when he noticed her looking at him.Peaceful and clean the gift to a rat ended up all the food was prepared for today. At least there was something good happening this Christmas. Emmy grabs herself a blanket and goes out to the guest beach house to sleep while David is left in bed alone wondering how to fix this.

Emmy pov

I couldn't sleep without him by my side. It was so cold and lonely without him, but still I knew about what he'd done. I loved him and it was hard going to sleep knowing when i woke up he wouldn't be there. Suddenly a faint knock came at the door, I got up to open it to see daveeds mother. I let her in and turned on the light.

His mom: hey hon you and daveed had a fight didnt you

Emmy: yaeh

Hs mom: we saw that note

I broke down cry already fight tears, she began to rub my back knowing the ain i was in

emmy:I just don't know why

His mom: Daveed loves you with all his heart, and I'm not saying you should forgive him right now but at least another chance.

Emmy: i'll try, you know we were supposed to tell you all about our engagement but yeah you see how that's gone

His mom: yeah it'll be okay, but next time you two fight in the house try to be a little more quiet

Daveed pov

Emmys dad came to talk to me, im guessing they saw the note and heard us

Her dad: hey son i know you didn't mean or want to hurt her but she's delicate she's been threw a lot and i know you still love her

Daveed: i do but i messed up really bad

Her dad: well try and make things right where you can, take it slow don't rush her or yourself

He patted me on the back as I told him all of what I did, I wasn't expecting him to do this but it was nice knowing they weren't mad.
