Oneshot nineteen, clam

Emmy was always a pacifist nly fighting when it was absolutely needed, never wanting to have conflict living a mostly normal life. The only time you'd really catch her fighting or getting angry is when she's acting. Not even teh most ignorant or stupid of peoel couldnt get a rise out of her, but nto all the time its best to stay calm in collected its always a time to get angery or honk the horn at someone.

Emmy pov

Daveed: emmy stay safe

Emmy: i know i'll be back in the morning

I was going to pick something up across town almost 5 houses away, by the time I got back Daveed should be awake. I leave the house and get in the car and wait a bit for it to warm up, as I pull out the driveway daveed waves to me frantically and screamed for me to be safe. Since it was late at night there shouldn't be too many people on the road, when I reach the beltways I'm surprised to see only 5 cars on there usalythered be over 500 at once. It is LA after all. After an hour of driving in silence I get a little bored and notice I'm dozing off. I turn on some music, fumbling with the radio. I catch a sound of David's name on the radio and quickly change it back.

"Hey hey hey what's up everyone welcome to celebrity news, we got something hot and fresh for you all now he's a up and coming actor, and rapper who was in hamilton the critically acclaimed musical that stormed the country, Now he is a pretty good looking man strong, nice hair, handsome. But ladies sadly he is not single he's actually in a pretty committed relationship with a lovely looking woman called emmy raver lampman who is an actress, singing and also was in many critically acclaimed musicals such as hamilton, wicked, and Aida. here's a short sample of what they sound like"

They proceeded to play an audio of me seeing staffed and daveed singing guns and ships, i'd honestly forgot that those videos where still up.

" wow that man can rap and can that lady sing, well back to the game of the night"

The music began to play waking me from my boredom, as the beltway went on so did the endless playing of the same songs. It was like they played on an endless loop, finally not being able to take it. I completely turned the radio off and drove in silence. Now 3 hours into the drive it was pretty uneventful nothing seemed to happen until someone came onto the road, they swerved and crossed lanes like they weren't even there instantly knowing they were drunk. I slowed down and tried to stay away from them. But every time I get over they follow in front of me, slowing me down.

I never really liked getting mad and honestly this isn't the worst thing that can be happening right now, the rain started to pour down on the street in the dark of the night, and suddenly something hit my car sending it spring on the empty road into the guard railing. The airbag deployed hitting me in the face and the window broke and the rain pouring in was the last thing I could see before things went pitch black.

Daveed pov

I fell asleep not too long ago but when i got a call from an unknown number i was confused, who was calling this late at night . answering it im told its Dignity Health.

"Hello sir, are you the boyfriend of emmy raver lampman?"

Daveed: yes why

"Sir your girlfriend was involved in a hit and run 2 hours ago, from the way the paramedics found her car the person who ran into her was most likely drunk and swerved hitting her"

Daveed: well is she okay?

"She's not in critical condensation but she did suffer a few scratches and a concussion"

Daveed: om okay i'll be there when i can

"Thank you sir"

I hung up the phone and in a rush I ran grabbing my shoes and coat. When I got into my car I instantly started from the beltway leading to Dignity Health. There was a silent panic in my head but i didn't know how to calm it, i should have gone with her. As I go down the beltway feather and farther I see something up ahead of the road, as I get closer and closer I see what it is that's left of her car. It was wrecked how a drunk driver could do so much damage if they only ran into her once, the front was bent in all directions. I keep going not thinking about it until I reach the hospital.

1 hour later i reach the hospital my general panic runs into anxiety as i walk up to the front desk.

Daveed:Hello im here to see emmy raver lampman my girlfriend, she was checked in here not to long ago from a car wreck

"Oh hello right this way"

The front desk lady leads me through the hospital to her room, quickly breeding on what happened shortly before letting me go in, when i go in i try to be as quiet as possible probably know she was tired from this whole thing. I slowly walked to her bed as I examined her body. She was asleep but I didn't want to wake her even if I didn't know how she ended up here. As I sat down she started waking up, I stayed silent as she fully woke up not to over-welm her.

Emmy: daveed?

Daveed: yeah i'm here are you okay..

Emmy: i think so but what happened

Daveed: they said you were involved in a drunk hit and run on the highway

Emmy: Daveed your car!

She started trying to sit up and get off the bed but I slowly and gently pushed her back down.

Daveed: emmy i don't care about my car thats what insurance is for but i'm glad you okay and that's all that i really care about

Emmy: daveed your here?

Daveed: yeah you woke up just a couple of minutes ago

Emmy: no i just now woke up and said hi

Daveed: emmy don't play games like this

Emmy: oh hey daveed

Daveed: oh god emmy

Emy: no no no joking daveed i'm fine
