Emmy's Beasts Children

In the dark, under a strange-looking tree, a lady around twenty-something could be seen clenching her stomach and looking pitiful. She seemed to be in pain and was breathing heavily. Above her in the sky, the color was very black and blurry. Rain started falling, and the thunder was clapping loudly and violently. The wind was very thick, slapping everything harshly. The lady stood with the support of the tree, using one hand to prop herself against the tree and the other hand to hold her stomach tightly. She breathed out and continued moving weakly. "Seems like I'm not going to escape this. What type of poison is this?" she wondered. She unbuckled her belt to relieve some pain, then sat down somewhere and groaned while her hand wandered around on the wet ground until it made contact with something. She picked it up and saw the object with the help of the lightning. The thing was round like a bead, and something joined them together. She did not care about what it was and just swallowed it. She was going to die anyway, at least she ate something. She could not figure out the taste of the thing, but it was surely not normal because as soon as it made contact with her throat, it felt very hot, as if she had drunk hot water that had not cooled. "Sh*t! Even in death, my luck is still very bad," she muttered. She was still lamenting when her aching stomach suddenly stopped aching. She did not have the chance to rejoice when her stomach started swelling up, getting bigger and bigger. It was as if it wanted to burst but, alas, it didn't. She could feel herself in labor. She groaned until something escaped her body - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. She was relieved from both the poison pain and her swollen stomach pain. When she looked at what she had given birth to, she was shocked. Eggs. She had given birth to eggs. And there were six. What happened to the eggs? Low key drawing

The whole hall was silent after the man's words, and the students started working immediately.

Sonia was peacefully drawing with one hand supporting her head while the other hand was holding a pencil, which was dancing on the sketching paper. She was so calm that the elders couldn't help but take another glance at her.

Soon, Sonia finished drawing and started coloring. She picked black, white, and gold only, and began coloring.

The elders were shocked when they saw the colors that Sonia chose. One of the elders couldn't help but murmur, "What is wrong with this girl? Out of all the colors, why choose these three?"

Normally, the three colors, when mixed together in an understanding way, will release better results. However, the three colors are not easy to blend together to achieve satisfying results. A little mistake and one's effort will be ruined. At least, Sonia was still a fresh student and was not expected to understand so much. People could only think that she was just trying to get people's attention. The three elders shook their heads, concluding that she had already failed. They shifted their attention away from Sonia and focused on others.

Oblivious to the elders' thoughts, Sonia continued her work calmly. She first colored the two bracelets black, used the white one to design a horizontal line on it, added the gold color to the horizontal line, and gave a simple moon shape design to the round bracelet with the mixture of white and gold. When she was satisfied with her work, she nodded, "this is called a low key drawing it shouldn't invite trouble". She thought to herself and soon, the time was up.

The students submitted their designs, and Sonia was no exception.

After they all submitted, the elders dismissed them, leaving the teachers and the audience to witness the marking.

The men started checking the drawings immediately.

"That lady with golden hair, what's her name, Miss Bella?" the middle elder asked.

"Oh, she was a fresh student. Her name is Sonia My," Miss Bella replied almost immediately.

The middle elder nodded and found Sonia's drawing. Picking it up, his eyes widened immediately when he saw the design. He couldn't help but rub his eyes to confirm if he was seeing things.

The audience held their breath for the results.

Seeing the middle elder's bizarre expression, the left elder couldn't help but ask, "What is the matter?"

The middle man was surprised to the point of not knowing how to reply and just passed the drawing to the left elder. "Check it yourself, it's better than me saying it" he said.

"Is it that bad?" the left elder asked as he collected the drawing. When he also saw the design, he was shocked, almost drooling. "This... this... how did she manage to do this?" he murmured in disbelief.

"What? Why are you guys embarrassing yourselves?" the right elder asked in displeasure.

"Embarrassment, you say? Have a look," the middle elder said, taking the drawing from the left elder and passing it to the right elder.

When the right elder saw it, his reaction was even more intense. "A genius! A genius!" He stood up immediately.

The whole room burst into murmurs, some even started celebrating.

"Please summon her in, that Sonia girl, summon her in" the right elder said with uncontrollable happiness.

"Right away," Miss Bella replied, happy, and quickly rushed out to call Sonia. After a few minutes, Sonia and Miss Bella entered again.

Seeing Sonia, the middle elder was the first to speak. "Pretty girl, do you mind working in our company? I can promise you that you will have a respectable position," he proposed.

The audience gasped, admiring Sonia more and praising her talent.

Sonia frowned in annoyance. "Even drawing in a low-key style still makes these humans overreact," she murmured to herself. She had deliberately chosen to not make the bracelet too attractive so as to avoid being invited to join a company or something. But who would have thought that this simple design of hers would lead the elders to have such a reaction? She sighed in frustration. "Humans... can't they see that this was only a low-level design? Why are they treating it as if it's some kind of treasure?" She thought inwardly when she saw how her drawing was being held with care. "I'm not interested," she replied.

Not only the audience, but even the elders were dumbfounded by Sonia's unexpected reply.

"Pretty girl, don't just jump to conclusions. Think about it. We can give you a respectable position," the left elder said.

"Are you kidding me? Which position will be more respectable than mine? I will soon be the owner of my own company, and you're telling me to join your company? What a joke," Sonia thought to herself. "Give the school the credit they deserve. Also, since you like the design, you can have it. Just take it as my apology for rejecting you. As for the prize, just give it to the school," she said.

Wow! She must be so wealthy that this prize means nothing to her.

Class A is really lucky.

That girl didn't care about the credit and just gave it to the school like that?

I just love her more; she is my idol.

The audience commented, with some believing that she was so wealthy that the prize didn't matter to her. Little did they know that Sonia was just doing this to keep her plan from her mother and avoid anything that could expose it.

The elders who were rejected were feeling defeated but didn't show it on their faces. "I can tell that your future will be bright beyond words. When that happens, you can look for us to cooperate with you; we will happily accept you," the middle elder said.

Sonia nodded but didn't take their words seriously. "I'm off," she said, and without waiting for any reply, she left.

Upon reaching the girls' dormitory, Sonia's phone rang loudly. She picked up her phone, answered the call, and placed it to her ear. "Yes?" Her voice lacked emotion.

"Miss Sonia, I just want to update you that our men have started work on your land as agreed. I called to inform you," the caller said.

"I see," Sonia replied. "I will be there tomorrow to check on the progress."

"Alright Miss, we will be expecting you," the caller replied, and the call ended.

Sonia returned her phone to her pocket and went straight to their dormitory. Upon entering, she saw Snow sleeping soundly like a baby. "What a phoenix," she commented, and helped her readjust into a good position before climbing up to her bed.
