Problem and Opportunity..

Sam sat in the lotus position and checked the mana inside his body.

"Just as I thought."

I found another source of power in my body other than my mana core, which is in my abdomen.

There was a golden aura around my heart.

"Vitality Surge"

One of the skills that the previous Sam had. As I said it a golden aura came out of my hand but it quickly banished.

Vitality Surge is a healing skill. It increases regeneration. Since it only can be used on others it quickly shuts off, since there isn't anything that I can heal in front of me.

"So this is Holy Mana."

Holy Mana, something I didn't use after I took over this body.

No, that's not the right way to say it.

I didn't use it because I couldn't. Unlike mana I couldn't bring it out until now.

Holy Mana.

Unlike before I can bring it out. Holy Mana was golden, unlike mana which was colorless unless you use an element.

Holy Mana wasn't much use to me. Since I was a fighter.

After Sam found out that he now could use Holy Mana. He started to check his mana core condition.

Sam needed to check his mana condition inside his body. Sam knows he is the only being that has two classes and two different sources of power.

You don't need to be a genius to figure out that two different sources of power are in one container, where only one power can be used.

So the other one will bring harm to the container where only one power is supposed to exist.

A problem was raised. A problem that Sam didn't think about.

"Why did this happen?"

As I checked my mana inside my body, an awakener's worst nightmare happened to me.

There were cracks all around my mana core.

This is the worst possible situation that can happen.

Unlike other injuries that can be fixed with potions or healers. A crack in someone's mana core is not something that potions or healers can heal.

It was something Sam knew. Whenever an awakener reaches a higher stage or breakthroughs a rank their mana core expands and becomes more refined, allowing the awakener to channel and manipulate greater amounts of mana.

But if an awakener's mana core is damaged it becomes a liability.

And with a damaged mana core if someone tries to break through, it causes many complications to them.

From limiting their potential to physical and mental strain.

It becomes harder to control mana and spells.

Depending on the extent of the damage on the mana core, an awakener will face long-term consequences such as chronic pain, weakened magical abilities and a shorter lifespan.

So right now Sam was in a very dire situation. He needs to find a solution to fix his mana core alongside a situation for both Mana and Holy Mana.

Okay.

"One thing at a time."

I can't fix my mana core here and any breakthrough will hurt me more. First I need to solve my mana problem.

Hup–!

"Let's see what happens when I try to combine Mana and Holy Mana."

I concentrate the Holy Mana to my hands direct the flow of my mana from my mana core to my hands and try to combine the two powers.

Ughhhh!!!

Soon a red sphere appeared in Sam's hand. The sphere glowed red and small lightning sparks were going around it.

'I need to concentrate so that no power leaks through…'

Boom!!

An explosion happened from the sphere and the explosion threw Sam to the cavern wall.

Ugh–!!

When I tried to combine the two powers it exploded. Luckily it didn't have that kind of recoil like before.

'Looks like I could combine the two powers.'

I might have found a solution to my problem. I needed to use Celestial Veil to combine both powers perfectly.

I sat in the lotus position again and concentrated again.

I needed to combine Mana and Holy Mana in my mana core and I needed to seal it with my mana art. If I make a mistake here, I won't be able to use mana anymore.

First combine the Holy Mana, which is in my heart with the mana in my abdomen. I will mix both of these powers in my mana core.

I will compress both powers in the core.

Ahhhhh!

An unimaginable pain went through my body as I tried to combine two different types of powers.

Mana and Holy Mana are two different things. They are like oil and water or the Sun and Moon. Both are opposite to each other. Mana and Holy Mana can't exist together. Mana is a stat that the Mage class depends on more than any other class and Holy Mana is exclusive to the Support class. Since they don't have access to mana they use Holy Mana in everything.

No being can have both of these powers together, except Sam. He had access to both of these powers. Now Mana and Holy Mana are opposite. If you try to combine them outside it blows off like a bomb but if one has both of these powers in their body, if they could manipulate them together. It brings out a different outcome.

Ughhhhhh!!!

I need to endure this. I need to concentrate so no power can leak through. I will use Celestial Veil to completely consolidate them.

Urghh!!!

I can't stop now.

When Sam was trying to combine both Mana and Holy Mana. His body was breaking apart because of the clashes of two powers but at the same time, his Holy Mana was healing his body. Sam was stuck in a cycle his body was destroying and healing itself subconsciously.

Even at this Sam couldn't stop, because if he stopped then the recoil from both of these powers would kill him.
