Chapter 16 After 6 Years

A mysterious figure could be seen sitting on the floor, his whole body shrouded in a dark substance. He appeared to be staring off into nothingness until he suddenly spoke, "So, another reincarnation, huh?" he continued, "At least this time, everything is in place."

The figure began to chuckle, "Those foolish bastards have finally made a mistake, and I will make sure to make use of it," he said, while laughing maniacally. "HAHAHHA, Just wait, you will feel my wrath! No matter how long it takes!"

...

Helga stalked through the halls of the grand estate, her sharp eyes scanning every nook and cranny. "Young Master Zephyrion, where are you hiding? It's time for your training," she bellowed.

Zephyrion's heart skipped a beat as he heard Helga's stern voice echoing through the corridors. He knew he had to act fast if he wanted to avoid her latest grueling training regimen

He crouched behind a wall, hoping to evade Helga's grasp. The past six years had been a rollercoaster ride for him. He had grown into a young boy with his mother's black hair and violet eyes, and his father's distinct features. However, despite his heritage, his body was frail and weak, resembling that of a skeleton, with little muscle or fat to speak of.

For the first five years, Zephyrion had focused on learning the language and was already able to read at the young age of three. Despite his low potential in the future and his weak body, some people still had hope that he would somehow become decent in the future.

However, when he turned five, a sudden unknown "sickness" overtook him, making his body even thinner and rendering him unable to do even the simplest things like eating or walking. He looked like a frail child who could die at any given moment.

Doctors had examined him, but they couldn't determine the cause of his illness. Zephyrion's father, Thomas, had complety lost interest in him, thinking he was useless, and focused only on his other child, Ethan. It was only thanks to Zephyrion's mother, Helena, begging Thomas for specific resources to help her son move around like a normal boy that he got at least a bit better after a year.

Despite Zephyrion's weak and skeletal appearance, Helga and Sarah had decided to start training him three weeks ago. However, he had already endured enough grueling training and was desperate to avoid Helga's latest regimen.

'Helga, for god's sake, please stay away with what you call 'training!'' thought Zephyrion as he moved further away.

Helga continued to search for Zephyrion, looking at every corner to ensure she wouldn't miss him. "Young Master Zephyrion, I will double the amount of training if you don't come out soon," she warned, her eyes flashing with a dangerous cold.

Zephyrion shuddered at the thought of double the training but kept moving, desperate for a break from the hellish routine.

After a while, he finally reached a big door. 'Thank god, I made it to the library. I hope she won't start searching for me here,' he thought, checking around to see if he was alone.

He stood in front of a big door with the same lightning-like symbols he had seen everywhere in the house. He opened it and was instantly hit by the smell of old books and dust in the room. The scent was overwhelming but comforting, like a warm hug from an old friend.

The library was grand, with towering shelves of books reaching high up to the ceiling. The shelves were made of dark wood and had intricate carvings on them, depicting scenes from ancient stories and legends. The room was bathed in a soft, golden light that filtered in through the large windows lining the walls. The windows were adorned with elegant curtains made of deep blue velvet that contrasted beautifully with the wooden bookshelves.

The bookshelves were arranged in a way that made it easy to navigate. Large wooden tables were scattered around the room, each with its own lamp to provide ample light for reading. The tables were adorned with vases of fresh flowers that added a pop of color to the room.

Zephyrion took a deep breath, enjoying the smell of books. "I never thought that one of the first things I would love in another world would be a library, but I can't help it. It just has such a magical feeling to it."

He looked around the library the books were sorted by themes and genres, making it easier for him to find what he needed. So he walked to the shelf where information about the world was stored.

"Let's finish this book today," he said. So he took the book where "The Anatomy and energys of a human" was written on it. Then, he walked over to the bookshelf where only one red book was present, with nothing written on the cover and took it with him as well.

Zephyrion looked around once more to ensure that he was alone, then quietly slid under the table. "Finally," he thought to himself, "after a whole year, I'm at the last chapter of this damn book." He couldn't help but wonder why authors always had to add their personal thoughts and theories, making the book longer and more difficult to read.

With a heavy sigh, Zephyrion opened the book to the last few pages and began reading. "Unknown how to use the energy in today's time," he muttered to himself, "it's said to be the energy of the evolution of all living beings, but humans don't seem to be able to use it.-"

Finishing the last content within five minutes, Zephyrion closed the book and leaned back against the table. "Well, at least I won't have to write as much in my notebook," he thought, reaching for his red notebook. He wrote down the final information and began to review his notes of the book.

-The anatomy of humans is similar to that of humans in our world. However, their body system seems to be connected to different invisible veins known as "Essence Veins," which are used to access their body's energies through they whole body. There exist seven forms of energies in Elysium, namely mana, QI, Aura, Spirit, Mental, Soul, and an unknown energy type.

-Mana is a type of energy that enables a person to cast spells through a process called incarnation, which activates a magic circle.

Mana is obtained through breathing and absorption through the skin's pores, as the air is mostly filled with it. The digestive system filters the mana and sends it to the heart, where it circulates throughout the entire body via so called mana veins.

However, the strength and complexity of a spell determine the amount of mana required to cast it successfully. Therefore, it is crucial for a person to have enough mana to perform magic.

-QI, also known as life force, is a vital energy that resides in a person's "Dan tien," a specific point in the lower abdomen, approximately three finger-widths below the navel and one finger-width inside the body. While accessing mana is relatively straightforward, QI is more challenging to access, as one must open 16 points in the body to let the QI flow through the QI veins. Once activated, QI can be used to cultivate and strengthen one's body, and perform special martial arts techniques. Moreover, QI aids in healing the body more quickly, making it a powerful tool for combat and survival. To enhance QI, one can utilize meditation and breathing techniques to strengthen and channel the energy.

It's important to note that a person can only use Mana and QI to cast spells and perform techniques related to their elemental affinity.

-Aura is another energy type known as the energy of emotion. It is said to be located in the upper body, between the heart and solar plexus. The aura veins are connected to every other essence vein in the body. Unlike mana and QI, it is not normally accessible as it requires a strong will and powerful emotions to use and fill it. When aura is used, it burns emotions and causes incredible emotional pain to the user. However, using aura also strengthens the whole body, making other energy types even stronger when used in combination. Its important to know, that using aura dulls a person's feelings, and the more often one uses it, the more emotionally numb they become. Therefore, most aura users only use it in emergencies when they need to access a sudden burst of strength or energy. While it can be a powerful tool in dire situations, its use should be approached with caution due to its potential emotional side effects.

-Spirit energy is a relatively rare type of energy found in humans, and it is typically only found within spiritual creatures like elves and fairies. There are some really rare cases where some individuals have it. The exact location of the energy center for spirit energy is unknown, but it is said to be located above the head.

The primary uses of spirit energy are controlling different kind of beasts, calling upon spirits for assistance, and forming contracts with spirits. With enough spirit energy, a person can establish a bond with a spirit, allowing them to call upon the spirit's power and abilities when needed.

However, forming such a bond can be challenging, as spirits are known to be selective about whom they work with. It is said that a pure heart and strong will are necessary to gain the favor of spirits.

-Mental energy, also known as Extra Sensory Perception (ESP), is a rare and elusive energy that only humans with extraordinary mental capacity can use. This energy is believed to be located in the brain, specifically in the cerebral cortex. Mental energy is said to give a person higher sensory abilities, allowing them to perceive and understand things beyond the normal range of human senses. It is also believed to grant access to an 8th sense, which can be used for various abilities such as telekinesis and precognition. However, these are mostly theories.

-Soul energy is an energy that is accessible to anyone with a soul, and it is believed to reside in an invisible and intangible crystal located within the human body, which also houses one's soul. The primary function of soul energy is to aid in the accumulation of experience for they specific activity and overall ability, such as training with a weapon, which increases the ability of the said weapon, casting spells which increases the power of the spells, or defeating other creatures with a soul, which increases the strength of the human body. It's seems to be similar to experience points and level in games. While the use of soul energy for experience gain is widely accepted, there are theories about other possible uses of this energy, such as enhancing physical abilities, improving mental acuity, and even extending one's lifespan. However, these claims remain unverified and are regarded as purely speculative.

-There is a theoretical energy known as the primo energy, which is believed to be responsible for the evolution of various creatures such as elves, dragons, and dwarfs into higher forms of existence. Humans may also be capable of evolving in the same way, but this is yet to be confirmed.

Currently, there are only a few tribes of humans that are considered to be "evolved" in some way, possessing characteristics such as increased speed, strength, or intelligence since birth. However, the exact nature of this energy and how it leads to evolution is still largely unknown and subject to speculation.

"I'm thankful for the skill of fast learning," Zephyrion muttered to himself, a sigh escaping his lips. "Without it, it probably would have taken me more than a year to get all of these skills written down in simple terms."

As he sat beneath the table, lost in his thoughts, he suddenly jumped and let out a high-pitched scream as Helga's head popped up from under the table. Her stoic expression betrayed no emotion as she calmly addressed him. "There you are, young master Zephyrion. I'm sure you've prepared for the training, since you made me wait so long."

Sorry for the late chapter, it took me much longer than expected to finish this chapter and I was rather busy, further chapters won't take as much time and should continue to released daily.
