Chapter 212: Altercation Outside Elven Cuisine Pagoda

While formulating a plan did improve my mood, when I saw His Highness cuddling with two women, it soured my mood once more, not to mention one of the women in question was my own sister, causing me to huff in annoyance as I looked away. However, as I waited for them, I sensed a carriage stop directly behind me, followed by what seemed to be the child of a decently high-ranking noble exiting the carriage, though the words that left his mouth were incredibly arrogant and lecherous. Still, while his attitude was displeasing, since he wasn't talking to me, I ignored him; besides, after seeing his personality, I didn't want much to do with him.

'Haa, I just hope the unfortunate soul that caught his attention is at least given a decent lifestyle.' Mused Sarah lightly as she sighed while shaking her head, not even realizing the arrogant young Master was speaking to her.

"Hmph, to think a mere woman would have the audacity to ignore my words; whatever, since you're my future thirteenth wife, I shall graciously forgive your disrespect. Now, enter my carriage before I'm required to use force!" Stated the arrogant and lecherous young Master angrily as he glared at Sarah, who was completely ignoring him.

Hearing him speak again, I looked around since, while his words were unreasonable, he was still a noble, and I was curious which commoner or possibly other low-ranking noble was bold enough to ignore his words; however, after looking around, I found nobody. In fact, besides His Highness, Miss Illumia, Sister Idonea, the servants of the Elven Cuisine Pagoda that lined the red carpet, and me, there was no one else in the nearby vicinity, which very much confused me.

'Hmm, he can't be speaking to His Highness as he is a man, and while he sounds very arrogant, I don't think he, or for the matter of fact, any noble, would dare speak to Miss Illumia like that, even Father restrains himself when interacting with her. I don't think he's speaking to Marley or Idonea, not when they are being embraced by His Highness hmph. He's not talking to me either, as I'm the young mistress of the noble Arch-Duke family, so he must be speaking to one of the females of the Elven Cuisine Pagoda.' Pondered Sarah as she observed everyone, her frown deepening when she glanced at Marley and Idonea.

Anyway, while it was rather unfortunate one of those women would mostly be required to become this man's wife, turning into nothing but a vase, at least she should be taken care of, so it's not all bad; though if none of them moved, it sounded like he was going to get angry.

"Fine! Since you wish to be like that and make things difficult, I'll just force you to come with me; when we return home, I'll make sure to properly punish you, my disobedient fiancée. Guards, apprehend her." Declared the young Master angrily before quickly calming down, displaying a sadistic expression as he looked at Sarah.

From the tone of his voice, I could tell he was one of those men who enjoyed breaking a woman's will, and as disappointing as it was, it was not my first time encountering such a man; you'd be surprised by how common these men or even women are among Nobles. Still, I knew better than to interfere with other noble's personal matters; it would just cause unnecessary complications between our houses, and there was no need for that.

"Well, those are all things Father has taught me anyway." Muttered Sarah with a frown as she glanced behind her at the young Master, who was looking right at her with sadistic eyes while two guards were approaching right for her.

'Wait. Was he talking to me this whole time?' Thought Sarah with a raised eyebrow, her suspicions being answered when the two guards stood beside her and grabbed her arms, lifting her into the air.

Honestly, I was rather surprised by such an outcome to think this entire time he was speaking to me and not to someone else; well, I suppose it made sense why no one was ever responding to him.

"Listen, set me down this instance, and I'll forget about this; I'd prefer not to cause bad blood with other nobles." Ordered Sarah with a frown and an authoritative voice as she ignored the guards, eyeing the young Master only.

"Hehe, it's too late to plead; you've already forced my hand." Said the young Master as he ignored Sarah's words, causing her frown to deepen, but she wasn't deterred.

"You seem to be a High-ranking noble, so I'm surprised you don't know of me, but allow me to introduce myself. I'm Sarah Eve, Daughter of Nordan Eve and the Young Mistress of the noble Arch-Duke Family." Stated Sarah as she held her head high in pride, befitting her noble status, causing everyone to momentarily freeze before suddenly chuckling.

"Haha, yeah, and I'm Crown Prince Elif." Said one of the guards with a mocking laugh.

"Haha, if you're Crown Prince Elif, I'm Crown Princess Elaine!" Declared the other guard mockingly, though he suddenly shivered in fear for some reason.

"Haha, you? Sarah Eve? Haha, don't make me laugh; Young Mistress Sarah Eve wouldn't be standing by herself. If you're really Sarah Eve, where are your guards? Where is your carriage?" Questioned the young Master as he looked at Sarah as if she was stupid.

"Hmph, for the record, I had visited His Highness first, so I had ordered my guards to return home; I saw no need for my guards to follow me when His Highness's personal Royal Guards surrounded me." Remarked Sarah with a huff of annoyance, though her words sounded like desperate pleas to the ears of the three.

"Whatever, you can continue your fake pleas later; I'm sure you'll be pleading for Prince Elif to come and save you then. Haha." Said the young Master with a sadistic grin as the two guards holding Sarah entered the carriage.

'Duh, why didn't I think of that?' Mused Sarah as she looked behind her, only to see Elif standing there teasing Marley and Idonea, which did annoy her, but she ignored it for now.

"Your Highness, could you please stop biting my sister's ear and come and assist me?" Asked Sarah with a pouting expression as she looked at Elif, who merely chuckled.

"Okay, okay; I just wanted to see how far you've come in terms of being an actual Noble." Remarked Elif with a slight smirk as he stopped biting Marley's ear, only for him to bite Idonea's instead.

"I-I don't think that's what she meant, your Highness." Muttered Idonea, though Elif's response was to caress her ear with his tongue, causing her to moan softly.

Approaching the carriage, I squinted my eyes as I released my Immortal Will towards the four, though I made sure not to target Sarah.

"Kneel." Stated Elif domineeringly, his words reverberating throughout the area as he caused the two guards and the young Master to be forced to the ground onto their knees.

Despite the fact the guards were much stronger than me, it was useless when facing an Immortal will since all that mattered was how strong your dao heart was; of course, there is a limit to things since the higher one's cultivation base, the stronger one's dao heart will naturally be. However, that was fine; besides, the only people I've met who aren't affected are people who have ascended beyond a Celestial and are at least a True God.

"Haa, I would say thanks, but it seemed like you enjoyed watching me." Said Sarah with a slight frown as she landed on the ground and neared Elif, who smirked.

"Heh, it's not my fault you were almost abducted, though I will admit, it was rather amusing." Commented Elif, his words causing Sarah to sigh while shaking her head.

"Anyway, since that fool hadn't done anything, you can do with him as you see fit, Marley; just try not to go overboard." Added Elif as he released Marley, who smiled while cracking her neck.

"Hehe, I won't be too long, your Highness." Said Marley with a slightly sadistic grin as she entered the carriage.

"Y-You w-who are you, m-my name-" Said the young Master in slight fear when he noticed Marley enter the carriage, though his voice cut off as she had closed the doors.

While Marley was doing her thing, I sensed Mandy and her guards finally arrive along with the royal carriage, which was stationed behind the Elven Cuisine Pagoda. Purposely going out of my way, I stepped on the face of the guard who spoke about Elaine before entering my carriage, followed by Idonea, Sarah, and Illumia.

"Heh, how long do you think it'll take, Marley?" Asked Elif curiously as he rested his head atop Idonea's thighs.

"She'll return within a few moments, your Highness; you should know this; you and I both have first-hand experience with how she fights." Said Idonea calmly as she glanced at Elif before tapping his chest, the same spot where Marley had stabbed her spear through roughly a decade ago.

"You're not wrong; she can be ruthless, but she's not slow; I'll give her that." Replied Elif lightly before closing his eyes and resting while everyone else silently waited.

Just as Idonea said, not even a minute later, Marley had returned; she had slight blood on her knuckles, but other than that, she looked rather fine.

"Sorry for the wait, your Highness; he was being a little uncooperative, so I had to be a little more forceful." Said Marley as she sat down on the opposite side of Idonea and rested Elif's bare feet on her lap, to which she then started massaging.

'Uncooperative? I had suppressed him with my Immortal Will; he couldn't move even if he wanted.' Thought Elif as he looked at Marley, though since her hands felt wonderful on the soles of his feet, he didn't bother further inquiring.
