Tired of toxic ones and seeking a dotting male lead? Want to read about a budding romance between two mortal enemies? Looking for a strong female instead of a whiny one? Well, you are in right place, let's get started. ~Excerpt~ I watched as they kissed passionately, as he undressed her body, fondling her, and making her moan. I still watched as their bodies collided, melting together, moulding into each other, moving in rhythms. But why was he watching me? Not for a second, his eyes flickered or left mine. Not even when he bit into her neck and sucked her blood. He still watched me and I did him, unwavering and unmoving as if we had been frozen in time. Treia left as he asked her to, giving me another unpleasant look as she walked past me. But, I was too engrossed in watching him as he had instructed me, I wouldn't look away because that's what he had asked me to do. When did I become so benign? Well, it was all for my mission, that's what I kept telling myself. Was that true though? Did I not feel even a single bit of pull toward this gorgeous entity in front of me? "Did you enjoy the show?" He finally asked sitting up in his bed. ~Synopsis~ Aselia was an elf whose world was ridden with many problems and strewn with species of all kinds but none was more colossal than vermins called 'Vampires' who sought blood not only for survival but also for pleasure especially from "The Elven Race." Rivan

Xiran's POV

I loved the look of disbelief on her face at my remarks. Not that I expected her to comply as she had proven herself to be rather stubborn so far but it seemed like fun to tease her. Besides, I needed to distract myself from my brother.

She stared at me for a few seconds and then replied: "In your dreams, old man," before proceeding toward the chair, where the white dress lay which she had adorned earlier.

"Woah!!! whom are you calling old man?" I knitted my eyebrows together to show annoyance.

"You obviously," she had picked up her dress, neatly folded it and placed it in her lap before sitting down on the chair and facing me.

"And, why is that?" I asked curiously.

"Aren't you suppose to be hundreds of years old?" She replied flatly and I chuckled instantly at her words while she gave me a weary look.

Just then there was a slight knock on the door. "Enter," I ordered. The door opened and Carios entered. "Sorry, to disturb you Sire but some of the guests would like to meet you before leaving and we need to take care of the other stuff as well." He avoided saying much in front of her.

"I will be right there." I got up from the bed as Carios left. "Don't even think about sleeping or sneaking out again," I warned her as she looked at me with those huge turquoise eyes of hers without saying anything in return.

I left her sitting there as I shut the door behind me but this time I locked it from outside so she won't get any funny ideas. I made my way back to the party. Met with some guests who had arrived late including a famous actor and a businessman.

"Xiriiii," I knew only one person in the world called me that. I turned around and found myself face to face with Rivan who came up and hugged me tightly.

"Hey! Rivi when did you come back to town," I was utterly surprised to see him as I hugged him back. Rivan was my best friend, pal, companion and brother I should have gotten.

"Today, I just wanted to surprise you." He smiled at me.

"Glad, you did. Let's wrap this up so we can sit in peace. Did you have a drink?" I called a waiter who was serving drinks. Rivan didn't consume blood directly from the source so I told the waiter to bring him a glass, he nodded and left.

"So, tell me how was your trip? As both of us settled down on sofas.

"Pretty good, I made the deal with Walshirke International, we are official partners now." Rivan ran an international clothing company which mainly dealt with women's apparel. He was a very calculated person who was deeply invested in his business. His company provided the clothes for all my contracted girls.

"Congratulations, I knew you would and now it's time for you to throw a party." I gave him a huge smile.

"Yes, we will celebrate it soon enough." He replied taking the glass from the waiter who had just arrived at his side. Guests had begun to leave slowly and Carios was gathering all the human volunteers to one side.

"I found something or should I say someone," I whispered slowly to him and he jerked his head toward me.

"Tell me you found your soul mate or at least someone you fell in love with." His face lit up at my words making me laugh out loud.

"Nothing like that, but she is pretty interesting and you have to meet her to understand what I am talking about." I winked at him knowingly.

"Ahh!!! you gonna make me wait." He sighed.

"Sire, they are ready for you." Carios came over and whispered in my ear.

"I will be right back," I told Rivan before following Carios.

All the volunteers had been gathered in one place. Some of them looked dishevelled but thankfully because of Carios' strict supervision we had no casualties. I glanced at them all and began: "Thank you for your services today but as you people will leave here, forget about ever coming here and witnessing everything you did today. Go home safely you people earned some money in a lucky draw." As my voice reached them they seemed to understand and nodded.

"Carios make sure all of them reach their homes safely and pay them handsomely," I instructed before making my way back to Rivan.

"Did you show off again?" Rivan teased me.

"Can't help myself," I shrugged my shoulders like a 5-year-old as we both began to laugh.

"So, when will I be able to meet her?" Rivan asked.

"Tomorrow, I promise. You must be tired from your journey. Why don't you have some rest? I will have your room prepared."

"That would be good. This deal exhausted me more than I thought it would. Humans are becoming a handful, they are trying to surpass others in every field. The audacity baffles me to a point that I can't seem to handle them anymore." He gritted his teeth in annoyance.

"Humans need a lot of patience, they are not everyone's cup of tea." I reminded him.

"Only you possess the endurance to handle them so calmly. I don't know how you have the patience of an angel. If you weren't born a vampire. I wouldn't have believed you were one."

"I am far from being an angel. Angels don't feast on innocent people and they certainly don't use girls for their desires." I said dryly. My crimes were too dark to be labelled as an angel.

"Well, we all have our demons to deal with. The darkness you amassed hasn't let you go astray. We might have ended far worse than we are right now. I don't think I would have turned out as positive as you are if I had to go through what you had to." Rivan's voice had taken a serious edge to it.

"Let's not dwell in the past, especially on the day of your success." I smiled at him.

"Fine, should we hit the bar then?"

"Of course," I pointed to the waiter to bring us more drinks as we were only getting started.

"Frila, did you give the new girl something to eat?" I asked Frila who was standing at my side. "I did, Señor."

"Good, can you send Triea to me? I am famished."
