Chapter Nine

Narrator pov

The next day, both came out of their rooms already dressed up for school and almost bumped into each other, they stare hard at themselves.

"witch!" he said.

"Wizard!".she answered back to him and walk away to the living room she saw nanny in the dining fixing their breakfast." good morning nanny".she greeted cheerfully.

"good morning dear how was your night?" she asked as replied cheerfully."come have your breakfast before leaving for school".she added Elora sat down and she serve her breakfast and she started eating, Marvin came down."good morning son, come to have breakfast,".she said warmly and Marvin stare hard at Elora as she was busy devouring her food.

"no nanny, I can't stoop so low to sit on the same dining with that witch, it could be risky".

"well, that makes it the two of us, you are a wizard, seeing you get me irritated and make me lose my appetite".she replied rudely to him and he try to pick up a fight, but nanny stop him.

"no, not today,".she said 'come on son, have breakfast before leaving".she persuaded.

"no, I just lost my appetite,".he said and left nanny staring after him and let out a sigh.

"Don't worry nanny, don't let his ignorance ware you down, he is not worth it". Elora said calmly and nanny smile at her.

"Sure, now hurry up with your food,".she said and went back to the kitchen to continue with what she was doing.

A few hours later, at the canteen, everywhere was filled with students and was rowdy as usual, Elora enter with her tray of food and was walking to find a vacant space to sit when suddenly someone brought out her leg and she tiptoes and fell with her food and all the students burst out in roar laughter, she became angry and stood up to face the girl that made her fall.

"what's your problem? You know what, I have had enough of you always ruining my food".she muttered angrily the three girls stood up with their hands across their breasts and the whole crowd turns in their direction.

"And what are you going to do about it? People like you deserve to eat on the floor".the leader of the girls said rudely and they laughed.

"tell her, Anna".1st girl said in support and Elora scoffs.

"oh so your name is Anna?" she asked smiling.

"yes, who is asking".she replied boldly.

"oh I see, now I know why you are acting like this, you know, I once know a dog in my town called Anna, she is just like you, always ruining people's stuff, now I can see there is a clear difference.".she said and the whole class laughed out loud, Anna and her friends frowned at her.

"How dare you compile me to a dog".she yelled and Elora scoffs.

"I didn't compile you to a dog, but just stating the difference". she said and the laughter increased, Anna raised her hand to slap Elora but she was quick enough to block it, everyone gasped in surprise as Anna struggled with her hand "Don't even try it, because if you do, that will be the last time you will make use of this hand and let today be the first and last time you make me tiptoe with my food because if you do" she laugh.' i won't be this nice, so don't dare me!" she muttered out in threat and let go of her hand.

"you animal! You are going to pay for this,".she said angrily feeling the pain in her wrist.

"of course, I will," she said nonchalantly and took a can of juice from her table and pour it on her face, everyone gasped."now we are even". she added and walk away. Anna grunt angrily and her friends were trying to calm her down, but she ignore them and left the hall looking embarrassed as her friends followed her behind. Elora was boiling in anger and was heading to the field when she bumped into Marvin on the way, they stare hard at each other.

"can't you watch where you are going!?" he yelled.

"you stay out of my way!" she retorts.

"witch!"

"Wizard!" they stare hard at each other for a while and walk in different directions. At the school field, Anna sat down with her friends who were trying to calm her down.

"that animal! how dare she humiliate me like that in Infront of the whole students" Anna said angrily.

"yeah, she needs to be taught a good lesson, how dare she do that"1st girl said.

"yes, so, what should we do?"2nd girl asked and they went stunned as Marvin interrupted them from behind, they stood up quickly.

"Marvin, y-you are here".Anna said smiling sheepishly along with her friends as they stare surprisedly at him because since they have been schooling together, they have never gone close or tried to talk to him because he likes keeping his distance and it feared them.

"do you want anything?"2nd girl asked as they bow their faces to the ground to avoid eye contact with him.

"no, I don't need anything I am here to help you girls achieve your aim of getting revenge back to what that witch of Elora did to you ".he muttered seriously and the girls were surprised.

"how do you mean?"Anna asked and he stare at them grinning.

later in the day, after school hours, Marvin came home and nanny came out of the kitchen to welcome him and was surprised as well not to see Elora with him.

"you are back son".

"yes, nanny". he replied and turned to go to his room when nanny's words stop him.

"where is Elora?" she asked.

"Why are you asking me that question, nanny? do I look like her garden angel or what? please don't ever ask me about that witch whereabout again!" he yelled and nanny sighs. he turn to leave when he suddenly felt a hard hit at the back of his head and he groan, everyone was shocked, and he turn to see the deadly look on Elora's face.

"how dare you talk to her like that? does she look like your mate?" she retorts and Marvin stares hard at her.

"did you just hit me?"

"I will do it again and again, you good for nothing spoilt brat!".she said and they try to pick up a fight, nanny stood in their mist quickly to prevent them from fighting.

"no, that's enough!" she yelled.

"you will regret ever hitting me like that"!he threatens and Elora scoffs

"you can't do anything, I am not afraid of you".

"That's enough you two, can't you both be at peace for once". nanny said.

"Never! there will be no peace until she leaves my house"

"you mean your grandmother's house,".she said and giggle.

"I will make you pay".he left for his room angrily.

"so, how was school?".

"it was fine".she smile

"Okay, no go freshen up and come down for dinner".

"Okay nanny, thank you"

she left to her room and nanny sighed after her before she went back to the kitchen.
